Get picked up at your hotel or other centrally-located spot in Palermo to climb aboard the comfortable vehicle and begin your self-guided day trip to Agrigento.

Arrive in the historic city of Agrigento and enjoy free time to explore at your leisure. The city was important even to the ancient Greeks and Romans, as evidenced by its proximity to the UNESCO-listed Valley of the Temples. The ancient city of Agrigento was even larger than the modern one, though the modern city is popular with visitors for its charming streets, shops, and restaurants.

Return to the vehicle at the appointed time and travel to the next stop, the village of Enna. This landlocked province in Sicily is still known for its bodies of water, though they're lakes and ponds rather than the sea. Enna's architecture includes evidence of the various cultures that have conquered Sicily – Normans, Swabians, and Aragonese – along with the signature Sicilian Baroque style.

The final stop on the tour is near the town of Piazza Armerina to see the beautiful ancient Roman mosaics in the Villa Romana del Casale.

Enjoy free time at each stop, and relax as you watch Sicily's gorgeous scenery drift by during transfers from place to place. At the conclusion of the day trip, return to Palermo.
