Interesting visit, but the guide lacked a respectful approach

The activity itself was enjoyable and well-organized. However, we felt quite uncomfortable with our guide, Carmela. Her tone came across as dismissive toward Christian traditions and historical facts, often making remarks that felt ridiculing. Given that this was a church visit, we found this approach inappropriate and somewhat off-putting. A more neutral and respectful presentation would have greatly improved the experience.

Abraham was a great tour guide; very knowledgeable and interesting. It was certainly worth the price to skip the Line, and head right into the cathedral.. organization at the office could’ve been a little bit better, but all in all a great experience

Our guide Manuel was amazing! Not only was he knowledgeable about Seville and the Cathedral, he kept us entertained with his great sense of humour. Rushed, Poor Audio Quality

Tour was belated and then felt rushed. Audio did not work more than 1/2 the time because of radio frequency being cut out. Not a lot of time to sit and observe and learn what was being spoken about. Church is beautiful and we got some fun facts however not as much as we hoped for the price. Skip the line was best part since we got to enter right away.

We met our guide just up the road from the Cathedral, at the tour guide shop, we then issued with ear phones and followed him to the cathedral. We were taken to key points in the Cathedral, which took about 1.5 hours, we then went up the tower. We’re in our 70s and managed it, we did take advantage of a window cill to rest about half way up. Coming down was easier. The top of the tower was packed with people. We then had free time to explore the Cathedral on our own. Our guide was personable, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.

Cathedral walking tour - skip the line

The skip the line feature was the best part of the tour. The guide was a contractor who was not vested in the experience. The sound on the headphone was difficult to hear. It was hard to follow the guide through the crowd as her direction was not clear. When this was brought to her attention she said we should complain to the company - not her as she was only a contractor.

Maria did an amazing job under incredibly difficult conditions. The Cathedral was beyond crowded and it was a rainy day. With patience and experience, she herded the group (about 15) through the masses of humanity and gave a solid informative tour. Having been on a number of Viator tours, this was to be sure the most challenging of any for the tour guide. Maria had good command of the topic and maintained her positivity throughout the tour.

The tour was not well organized. Started late due to people being late, and then there were some sort of ticket issues and we had to wait outside in the cold while the tour guide went back to the office. Didn’t get into the Cathedral until 45 minutes after the time that the tour was supposed to start.

The technology was a real problem at the beginning; we lost around 15 minutes trying to get it fixed so we all could hear. But Ismael was a real trouser and powered through to give us a terrific tour. We loved his humor too!

The experience was OK. The cathedral itself is really impressive and definitely worth it. However, our guide was not so competent. Her English skills were mediocre - which is perfectly fine, except if you’re a tourist Guide, who offers quite expensive tours in English. As a consequence, her storytelling regarding the cathedral was subpar. Also, the agency asks you to be there 10 minutes before the tour starts but then waits for clients up to 10 minutes after the tour starts. Effectively clients who come on time I’ll punished for their compliant behavior. This feels kinda wrong

It was a little chaotic checking in at the travel agency. You were handed a piece of paper and told to step aside. It wasn’t clear that the piece of paper had the name of your guide and you needed to show that to get grouped accordingly. The guide was great though…

Good tour to avoid queues and if you want to get tickets at short notice

The tour company was quite chaotic. But eventually, we were on our way to visit the cathedral. It was a very busy day with so many people queuing and visiting the cathedral. This tour allowed us to get in without queuing. The tour guide was informative and had a good sense of humour. Overall it was worth doing the tour to avoid queuing and get some information but it was quite a chaotic and busy experience.

Our tour guide was incrdible! We were unable to book the Alcázar of Seville but were able to pivot and do the Cathedral instead. We were happy we did so.
