Great tour - well organized, everything on time, very clear instructions and no delays. Valentín was an amazing guide, incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Tour lasted a full 2 hours and 10 people in the group. Highly recommended.

Small group tours are the way to go. We had 9 in our group (max 10) , all from the US. Carmen, our guide was warm, smart and a had a great presentation style. We could always hear her, no mics needed ( benefit of small group). Carmen moved us effortlessly through the Royal Alcazar , sidestepping crowds and other tours , making sure we saw it all. Never felt rushed, about 2 hrs. We toured the gardens on our own after a light lunch, and it was amazing! Don’t miss that part! I hope you go on this adventure, and that you’re lucky enough to have the lovely Carmen as your guide!

Carolina is the best! We had a great time on this tour with her as our guide. Carolina was extremely engaging and friendly, and very passionate in teaching us about the rich history of the Alcazar. The Real Alcazar is a beautiful must see place which also reveals a lot of history of Spain & Seville. Whilst you could visit without a tour guide we would not have understood all the architecture, paintings and associated history had it not been for our excellent guide Valentin. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the building and Seville. He answered our questions enthusiastically and our teenagers were much more engaged than they would have been without a guide. We got lucky on our small guided tour as we ended up being the only group so was effectively a private tour for our family.

What a great tour. Antonio was full of knowledge and passion about this beautiful environment. Small group was great as we were able to ask loads of questions and take time to admire and learn. Antonio had a fine sense of humour and charisma making the two hour tour fly by. We were left at the end to spend time in the grounds to enjoy the Spanish sunshine. Totally recommended.

Antonio was truly knowledgeable about the site. And in a way that was refreshing. Instead of peppering the group with dates and names... he worked to weave in connections in a wonderful way. This was an excellent tour and u would highly recommend it! The instructions with meeting place were send in advance and very clear. The guide, Carmen, was fantastic! She is a history grad and certainly knew her history and shared it in an easy to understand way. Group size was small so you could always hear her. Such a beautiful palace!

If there was a way to give more than 5 starts, I would. Carlos was the best tour guide ever! Not only was he very knowledgeable, he had VERY excellent people skills. He put in effort to know the names of the people in the group, where each one was from and other details to offer better engagement from the participants. He was also very funny and never had a dull moment. I would take this tour again with him if I go back to Seville!

The manager of the company that viator subcontracted to bought the tickets for the wrong day, so despite purchasing these tickets weeks ago, we were not able to see the alcazar. All the tickets were sold out. I gave an extra star for the tour guide Carmen who gave us an exceptional city tour instead. She was very knowledgeable and an outstanding tour guide. I was really disappointed though that we didn’t get to tour the alcazar.

As explained at the time, this happened on January 2nd due to an unexpected issue linked to the launch of the Alcázar’s new ticketing system for the new year — an error that was immediately identified and fully refunded via Viator.
