Very informative guide of Alcázar. Carol had a lot of great information and stories. She even had pictures from Game of Thrones that helped to connect the movie to the site

Loved hearing the history of the architecture of the palace, things I would not have seen or noticed had I gone by myself. Also enjoyed that when the tour was ended we were free to stay and look at things as we wished. Very hot though, bring water!

This is a beautiful historical site, and our guide Carolina was knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed it so much despite the very warm day that we stayed for more than 5 hours. The site is gorgeous and has a lovely cafe with good sangria and light dishes, and the gift shop has lovely items to purchase as well. A wonderful experience that far exceeded our expectations.

There were only 4 of us on this tour which meant we didn’t need headphones and it felt much more personal than some others. Antonio was very knowledgable and informative. He also helped my partner who has mobility issues which made the whole experience much easier and enjoyable for us.

The alcazar is well worth visiting with a local guide. Our guide, Valentin from Seville Unique Experiences, was fantastic. The depth of his knowledge and the way he explained historical events made the visit to the Alcazar even more enjoyable. The tour was about 2.5 hrs. We had a coffee at the cafeteria inside the garden area.

Valentin was our guide and he was amazing! So enthusiastic about Seville and its history. He taught us many interesting things about the Alcazar that we would never have understood without his taking us through it. You can tell when a guide has a Masters degree in history because they love the subject and it shows with Valentin! After the tour we also had plenty of time to walk back through and really absorb this beautiful place. Thanks also to Valentin for a restaurant suggestion in Triana- got away from the tourist crowds and had a lovely lunch across the river at Las Golondrinas! Recommend this tour highly!

Great tour - well organized, everything on time, very clear instructions and no delays. Valentín was an amazing guide, incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Tour lasted a full 2 hours and 10 people in the group. Highly recommended.

Small group tours are the way to go. We had 9 in our group (max 10) , all from the US. Carmen, our guide was warm, smart and a had a great presentation style. We could always hear her, no mics needed ( benefit of small group). Carmen moved us effortlessly through the Royal Alcazar , sidestepping crowds and other tours , making sure we saw it all. Never felt rushed, about 2 hrs. We toured the gardens on our own after a light lunch, and it was amazing! Don’t miss that part! I hope you go on this adventure, and that you’re lucky enough to have the lovely Carmen as your guide!

The Real Alcazar is a beautiful must see place which also reveals a lot of history of Spain & Seville. Whilst you could visit without a tour guide we would not have understood all the architecture, paintings and associated history had it not been for our excellent guide Valentin. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the building and Seville. He answered our questions enthusiastically and our teenagers were much more engaged than they would have been without a guide. We got lucky on our small guided tour as we ended up being the only group so was effectively a private tour for our family.
