Wonderful tour of the Alcazar and Cathedral. The ramps to reach the tower are a challenge but worth it, you get a 360 view of Sevilla. Our tour guide Carmela was very knowledgeable and provided great background on both areas. The tour was a bit long hitting both sites and could have been broken into one each, but the break in between sites was helpful , just be prepared make sure you eat before going and bring water. Overall what the tour offered and info provided was great.
Very knowledgeable tour guide and informative tour! Got to visit the old medieval town and La Ramblas. I really enjoyed the tour!
Amazing experience! Ivan was so knowledgeable and knew his stuff! He made an excellent guide and the tour is absolutely stunning !
Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Learned a lot about the palaces. Enjoyed seeing the palaces and walking the gardens.
Long and quite tiring! Difficulty hearing what the guide was saying as radio ear speakers were not good, low range. There was so much information you had a hard job taking it all in especially when you were straining hard to hear it in the first place! On the plus side the cathedral and the palace were amazing. With kind site probably better to visit the two sites on your own and buy a book if you want to learn all the history.
The guide Carlos was very informative and all the people I went with enjoyed, but my device did not work and he had no replacement. I was a bit disappointed that after 2hrs of a 3 and half tour to be told we could not go to the cathedral because they did not have a guide and tickets until 4-30 which would have been the 3 and half hours. They did not tell us when we started and waited. He said we would have to go back to the shop and request a refund. We did not go back.
Very knowledgeable guide Alvaro . He was extremely professional and gave us a comprehensive understating of the history of both the Cathedral and Alcazar. The climb up the Giralda tower was really worthwhile for the fantastic views of the city.

Our guide Ismael was great. He was funny and energetic. His tour was a great mix of entertainment and history.
We weren’t able to see the Cathedral.
There was a mixup with the tickets apparently and we only got half of the tour. This was our last day in Sevilla so we didn’t get a chance to see it. That was very disappointing.

This was an excellent and very informative tour of both the Alcazar and Seville Cathedral. Our guide, Alvaro, provided a lot of detail in a clear, enthusiastic & friendly manner. A very worthwhile experience.
This is and has been by far the worst tour booking I have ever booked! Alcazar and Cathedral "skip the line" tickets! We arrived at Alcazar. Veronica toured us around, but the whole tour of this was long and drawn out! Too much trivial information! The she "allowed" us 25 minutes to walk the gardens...end of September..most florals were dead! Problems started when we then went to the Cathedral only for her to be told we "MISSED" our time to get in!! In other words, we should have NOT stalled around the Alcazar for 25 minutes..she messed up!!! She cheerfully comes back after having us wait outside Cathedtal another 20+ minutes and says "I have kind of some bad news. We missed our chance to get in, so you can come back at 4:10 pm and take the tour. I cannot be here so someone else will do it, or you can walk to one of the offices and ask for a refund." It was 2:20 pm at this time!!! Most of us had other things scheduled later in the afternoon and evening!!!!
Very POOR time management and planning on Viator and Veronica's part! And even worse we had to walk to an office, wait in line, to ask for our refund for the portion of the tickets for the Cathedral!
I, unfortunately, have two more bookings this trip with Viator! I can tell you it will be my LAST time I use them!!!
Get your Guide will now be my go to, as they have not yet screwed anything up for me!
I asked for a refund!!! Let's hope I get it.

The experience is unique. The Catedral has many years of history and the tour guide was passionate about explain everything in detail. I recommend it.
What was sold as a 3.5 hour tour ended up being a 1.5 hour tour with a 2.5 hour break and then what would have been another 2.5 hour tour. They blamed it on the cathedral scheduling. Lack of communication and sitting in 100+ degree temperatures made it the worst tour. We gained access to the cathedral, handed in our radio device and did a quick tour to make our dinner reservations. People plan their day based on the advertised schedule and a delay of this magnitude was unexpected and completely unacceptable.

Alba was a great tour guide. The tour covered the major sites in the historic center of town. The sites are huge & would have been overwheming without Alba. She guided us thru the must see areas at each site and gave us much historical details and insights.
Our tour guide Maria Angeles was absolutely wonderful and brought the history of both the Cathedral and Alacazar vividly to life. So enthusiastic was she that despite the length if the tour she engaged and captivated every participant. Nothing was too much trouble and this was definitely the highlight of our stay in Seville.
This was an amazing experience and a great way to see the essentials of Seville history. All of the sites were so beautiful and we both learned so much. You could feel our guide’s love and passion for Seville. I highly recommend this tour!

Our trip was supposed to start at the Cathedral at 3pm but it started at 4:50pm because the guide said that the company didn’t book us in advance & there was no availability for 3pm. It was 90 degree Fahrenheit temperature & we had to see the Jewish streets just to kill time. Since our trip was from 3-6:30. We were left with only hour and a half. So even though the guide took us everywhere in the itinerary but we had to skim through each place & see it very quickly. Viator charges so much money but was completely dissatisfying. Will never book with them in future.

This was a wonderful tour and way to experience some of the highlights of Sevilla. Emilio was a terrific guide and was clearly passionate and very well-i formed about the subject matter.
Very enjoyable and worthwhile tour. Cathedral was amazing. Our guide Merce was excellent. She was an historian and very knowledgeable about every aspect of the cathedral. She was also very empathetic to our group including several breaks along our 3-1/2 hour tour. Much appreciated in the tough Seville heat. Alcazar also neat to see but rightly had shorter time allotted. This tour should be at the top of your Seville list.
Exceptional Viator Tour of the Royal Alcázar and Seville Cathedral with Alvaro
My wife and I had a wonderful experience exploring the Royal Alcázar of Seville and Seville Cathedral with Alvaro as our guide. He was absolutely outstanding and made these magnificent landmarks come alive through his knowledge, storytelling, and passion for Seville’s history and culture.
The guide Alvaro ( a history graduate). was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and personable. He explained the history and architectural details in a way that was fascinating and easy to follow, while providing wonderful context about the different civilizations, rulers, and influences that shaped these remarkable sites. His explanations at the Royal Alcázar were particularly memorable, helping us appreciate the intricate architecture, beautiful gardens, and fascinating history far beyond what we would have understood on our own.
At Seville Cathedral, Alvaro again demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge. He pointed out details that we would easily have missed and gave us a much deeper appreciation of the cathedral’s architecture, art, history, and significance.
What we appreciated most was his enthusiasm and attention to detail. He was patient, approachable, and happy to answer our questions, while keeping the tour interesting and well paced. He clearly takes pride in sharing Seville’s heritage with visitors.
Alvaro was also professional, courteous, and thoughtful throughout the tour, making us feel comfortable and welcome from start to finish.
We highly recommend Alvaro and Viator to anyone visiting Seville. Having such a knowledgeable and engaging guide made our visit to the Royal Alcázar and Seville Cathedral much more meaningful and memorable. Thank you, Alvaro, for an excellent tour and for helping us discover the history and beauty of Seville!
The tour itself is great. You can skip the line for two major monuments of the city (saves A LOT of time) and normally you have plenty of time for both. Sadly, there was a problem with the tickets, so we entered the cathedral almost two hours later. Things like this can happen, but an information prior would have been nice.
Luckily they made up for it with an extra tour through Santa Cruz which turned out the be my highlight of the day.
The staff is very friendly and I must point out the amazing guide Rosario. She was leading the tour with plenty of knowledge, a lot of charm and humor. Really enjoyed her as a tour guide.
Totally disorganized. People came in while we were waiting for our tour to start, to ask for a refund to the church. We started 25 minutes late and then were told we need to walk around the Jewish area, as our tickets to the church were for later only. It only got worse from there!!!!

Excellent guide and a lovely place to explore and visit.
Historical elements to the tour and great place after the tour to eat a tapas and drink lovely wine in the bars.
Bad sound quality of headphones. Constant crackling of sound. Very hard to hear clearly.
And the cathedral part of the tour was cancelled because they could not get tickets at the time we all booked. Very bad experience

Our guide, Ivan made this tour super interesting and funny at the same time, the Cathedral and Alcazar are both incredible buildings with a fascinating history.
Our tickets were skip the line and that was good because otherwise there were very long queues. You need to take your passport or official ID or they will not allow you inside the Alcazar and you must have your shoulders covered for the Cathedral. A couple of ladies had to pop to a local shop and buy something to cover their shoulders to be allowed in.
The Cathedral was stunning! So many beautiful things to look at. Our guide was very enthusiastic about everything and quite knowledgeable but for us the commentary was far too detailed. We didn’t need to know whether a painting was in the first or second Baroque period. We also didn’t need to know the full names of the creators of each & every statue or painting, or being told over & over it was important that we remember those names!
The tower was a bit of a disappointment because all the views at the top were marred by thick wire mesh making photographs very difficult.
The Alcazar was stunning. So beautiful with so much history. Many of our group had glazed over eyes by this point because of the detailed commentary and some even left early before the end of the tour. Our tour guide left us inside the Alkazar at the end of the tour so we were able to wander around the gardens by ourselves. There was a small cafe in the gardens that came in very handy for a drink at the end of the three & a half hour tour.
Definitely worth seeing the Cathedral & Alkazar but we would have preferred much less detail in the commentary.
Unmissable experience. But I would recommend doing cathedral and Alcaraz separately So much to see in each place. And little opportunity to sit.
