Itinerary
Make your way to the Seville Cathedral, also called the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Sea (Catedral de Santa María de la Sede). Meet your tour guide and group, and enter the cathedral without waiting in long queues.
Marvel at the sheer size of the building, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Walk through the enormous central nave, dominated by a choir box and one of the largest altarpieces in the world, which features carved scenes from the life of Christ. See the city key surrendered to Fernando by the Moorish and Jewish city occupants, inscribed with a final protest. Admire the 15th-century stained glass windows and the intricate iron screens that close off the eighty chapels in the cathedral. The Royal Chapel, or Capilla Real, was the original royal burial chapel and now contains the silver shrine of Fernando III.
Opt to climb La Giralda, originally a Moorish minaret and now the cathedral's bell tower. This tower is 343 feet (105 meters) tall and is a well-known symbol of the city of Seville.
After your tour, feel free to ask questions before heading off to continue exploring Seville.

Tour was suppose to start at 9:45am we left the square at 10:05am The tour guide was disorganized and didn't speak English very well so it was difficult to understand what she was saying.The Palace was beautiful and it is a must see

Absolutely fantastic tour of a beautiful Cathedral with an absolutely outstanding tour guide - Hector.
Hector was full of energy, super engaging, full of facts and brought his own experiences to the tour. He also told us great information about Seville, the Seville oranges, provided recommendations for drinks, flamenco etc.
Hector had a wealth of history and information and made it all so interesting and engaging.
I would definitely do this tour again and for anyone considering it, if you are lucky enough to get Hector as your guide you will have a fabulous tour.

Great way to learn about the Cathedral. Hector was awesome. Joyful, full of info, he made it interesting. It was a great mixof history with current culture thrown in. Without this tour, I would have walked in, walked around and thought "that's a lot of gold, a lot of paintings and a lot of religion". I would have left without understanding what I was looking at and I would have missed so much about Sevilla's history and how La Catedral fits in to it. Can't recommend Hector highly enough!

We had a great tour of the Cathedral. We didn’t have much time so the shorter tour was great! We spent extra time in the Cathedral after and we were able to tour the Giralda at our own pace. Hector was wonderful and gave us lots of interesting history to support the tour. Highly recommend!

We scheduled our tour and two days before were informed of a time change which was inconvenient but acceptable. The day before the tour we received another message stating that it was going to be moved to two days later after we would already be gone. Obviously this wouldn’t work so we had to ask them to cancel. I hope we will receive a refund. We really wanted to see the cathedral so we went by ourselves and had to wait in the ticket line. In general I would recommend a company that can more consistently deliver on promised times.

Enjoyed this tour.
The headsets were not that helpful since they were very tinny and not that loud and we could not hear, but we were only a group of 10 and we stayed close to Hector our guide.
Hector was engaging and very informative and his English was very good. We learned alot and enjoyed this tour.

No memorable moments. Booked 11am trip cancelled offered 3pm. No guide appeared at the meeting point. Had to make a number of calls to find out what was happening. Amigo tours called to tell me to go into the information shop. Pancho tours now instructing me to go to another meeting point (now 3.30) and the guide would wait for us. Eventually found it but guide and party had left. We had no tickets so City expert assistant said the take a pic of computer screen and to find the guide when we were inside. We went to the cathedral and not allowed in as the said the group had gone through and it was a full group. Total waste of time and and £94 pounds. Hugely disappointed with the quality of service as I’ve had such good experiences before. Can’t find a UK telephone number to ask for a refund. Just hope my USA tour is better organised. Would appreciate some feedback.

I wish I had something better to write but this was a complete flop. I arrived 15 minutes early and waited until after the tour started, and no one showed up. No person with sign at the meeting point, nothing. I contacted the tour operator from the app to make sure I didn’t miss anything and have yet to hear from someone (almost 24 hours later). Have requested a refund but so far have heard nothing from them. Very disappointing to experience as was really looking forward to this tour and will now question whether I purchase Viator Experiences again.

The cathedral is beautiful, and the tour makes it so much better as the history of this building is explained. Rosa did a brilliant job, was lovely as well as engaging and passionate about the people and heritage behind this majestic monument. The tower is a must, no steps just a long ramp which was much easier to climb! At the top you reach great views across the city. We had a mixture of nationalities on our tour so Rosa was doing the tour in both English and Spanish; reading other reviews this was deemed to be a negative, however it gave time to take in what she was saying as well as to look at all the aspects that make up this wonderful building! It was also pretty impressive how she switched languages so quickly! Overall 10/10, the only negative would be we couldn’t say thanks as we didn’t realise she wasn’t coming up the tower with us at the end of the tour, so if you’re reading this Thanks Rosa! Tour Guide was not obvious, we had to ask other guides to help us find her. The tour took a little bit too long; we all felt it had been dragged out, somewhat. However, there were elements we enjoyed and the walk to the top of the tower, at the end of the tour, for the city views was lovely.

Our guide for this tour was Rosa from Amigo Tours. She is fantastic - very knowledgeable and informative. Before we started the tour, one of the other participants was very upset when she learned the tour was going to be in both Spanish and English. The lady felt like she was only getting 50 of her money's worth out of the trip because of the time being spent saying the same thing in both languages. Rosa explained to the women that she translates sentence by sentence so that everyone received the same information. Rosa did exactly as she promised. I have never seen anyone switch from one language to another with every sentence, but she did. She was superb! We also had her for our guide for the Alcazar early access tour on a previous day.
The Cathedral is amazing. So big and so much to see. If you went on your own, you just wouldn't be able to appreciate the many chapels and objects displayed. It is very important to have the backstory to everything, Without the backstory I wouldn't know where Christopher Columbus is buried - above or below? You must go to the top of the tower. The view is awesome!

Our guide Rosa was just amazing. We met her at the meeting point where she explained that the Archbishop ? had a free hand in the cathedral opening hours and on that day had decided no visitors until 11.00. As the weather had turned very cold she suggested we go off somewhere warm while she queued in the cold for us and reassemble at 10.50.
At 11.00 we gained entry and Rosa proved to be a superb guide very knowledgeable and very interesting in her delivery of the historical and social information. Our tour lasted about a couple of hours although it felt like half that time and at the end of it my wife and I felt that we gained an understanding of the architecture, the history and the religious significance of both the cathedral and the surrounding area.
I know that this tour was maybe more expensive than others, but boy was it worth every penny. Most of us will probably only visit Seville Cathedral once in our lives so do it properly and you'll be left with an experience you'll remember for a long time I had no idea Christopher Columbus had been buried, exhumed and re-interred so many times!.
If you're lucky enough to get Rosa as your guide you're in for a real treat!
