Raul was an excellent guide. Lots of San Juan history as we walked to five different venues for various tastings. Flavorful variety. Good pace — not rushed but kept things moving for your group of 12 One additional stop at a small spice shop. Enjoyable. Would recommend

Miguel was an excellent tour guide. Answered any and all questions we asked and showed us some historic sites along the way. All food was delicious and worth the try. 10/10 experience and would go again!! For future attendees, we recommend bringing a bottle of water with you since drinks are not abundant on this tour.

Excellent food tour of Old San Juan

DawnMarie_O, Apr 2026
Andres was a great guide. Over a 3 hour walking tour we had 5 stops, native coffee and breakfast sandwich, with havarti cheese and ham and guava butter, native fruit popsicles, ceviche and native alcapurria, mofungo and rice and beans and chicken and then chocolate croissants. The food was delicious. They accommodated us with hot chocolate since we don’t drink coffee and with virgin daiquiri since we do not drink alcohol. Andres also told us several stories of old San Juan history along the way. We loved that Andres shared the stories behind the places we ate.

An amazing food tour on foot!

Cheri_w, Apr 2026
A big shout out to Raiza! She was so engaging and knowledgeable about both the history of the food and San Juan. We ate our way through the day starting with the best coffee! I am not a reguar cofee drinker, but it was amazing! We ate traditional foods that represented what was eaten at different times of the day, and even made our own Mojito. You will leave very satisfied. It is a walking tour so wear comfortable shoes.

A great introduction to food and culture of San Juan.

Pablo earns every one of the 5 stars! The tour was great and we enjoyed the group size of 7. It felt intimate and fun. The food stops were great! Loved the coffee shop (Cafe Cuatro Sombras) and the appetizers we had at Cafe el Puente! Great experience and we would do it again!

This was our very first food tour and it was so fun and memorable! Claudia was our guide and she was knowledgeable and hilarious! I wish I could bottle up her energy & vibe and take it home with me! She was very knowledgeable of the culture and the foods we ate. We went to 5 different places to eat and it was all incredible! We even made our own mofongo! I could not recommend this tour more.

San Juan food tour

Eric_T, Apr 2026
We had a wonderful San Juan food tour. Our tour guide, Jesus, shared a lot of great information about San Juan and the food we were having. He was friendly and funny. We stopped at five locations for different bites. Our favorites were the coffee and pastry and the ceviche, but it was all good. The tour was eight people and we all got to know each other so that was fun too. Great thing to do in Puerto Rico.

Eric, sounds like a really well-rounded experience from start to finish. Our guide was awesome but...

Jillian_K, Apr 2026
Our guide was awesome but for the price this was not a great value. The photos for this tour are misleading. The food we had was okay but for the price we were left feeling hungry and unimpressed. The chicken and mofongo spot especially was very disappointing. For a food tour I expect more opportunities for drinks and beverages as well. For 5 stops this tour was also quite long and inefficient. Our guide did a great job no complaints there but overall expected more and higher quality food.

Food at first stop was...

Robert_B, Apr 2026
Food at first stop was absolutely delicious. After that not so good. The history part was excellent.

Fantastico! our guide...

Denise_S, Apr 2026
Fantastico! our guide Leslie Ann was so knowledgeable about Puerto Rican history and culture as we strolled through San Juan. Local eateries sampling home grown coffee and pastries, grouper ceviche, alacapurras, original pina coladas, passion fruit popsicles, and full course Puerto Rican rice and beans, plantain Mofongo, and tasty chicken with original sauces. Top it off with perfect flan. THANK YOU! I would do it again 💕

Food tour with family

Teresa_L, Apr 2026
Nice tour with family from ages 12-85. Very easy walking; all restaurants were very close to each other. It was a good tour, but it feels expensive for what it was. A little disappointed at the last stop for flan dessert at a meat focused restaurant. It could be that it was Easter so other places may have been too busy or closed.

Go with Miguel!

Savannah_A, Apr 2026
Miguel was a fantastic tour guide! We really enjoyed the history about Old San Juan that he shared in addition to the incredible foods!

Do not miss this tour! Our guide, Leslie, was top notch. Not only did she take us on a wonderful food experience we also heard about so much of Puerto Rico’s incredible history. Her depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for food, culture and history made for a very enjoyable evening. From the passion fruit ice pops to making our own mofongo it was a delightful way to experience this beautiful island.

We paid $160 per person...

Denny_T, Apr 2026
We paid $160 per person for a main course of rice, beans, and plantains at a hole-in-the-wall. The rest of the tour was just as cheap and unimpressive. When you pay $160, you expect a certain level of value in return, and this was sorely lacking. This tour was very disappointing. The guide was friendly and energetic, but the tour organizer is excessively greedy with the providing value back to the customer.

Deliciously Fun

Laura_M, Apr 2026
This excursion is a great way to see Old San Juan while tasting popular foods of Puerto Rico. The arrangement of food...

Taylor_M, Apr 2026
The arrangement of food was very well thought out. Our guide, Claudia, had a very funny, cheerful personality. We were impressed at how she was able to remember all 10 group members names and integrate the group. The walk of the old city was not difficult and nice to get a mini tour of old San Juan. The appetizer spot was very good but the main course restaurant was commercialized and not very good. It was a ton of food but lacked taste-wise. We had a better mofongo at a more local spot. Overall we had a nice evening.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Taylor, we appreciate you taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed Claudia’s energy, the group dynamic, and the overall flow of the tour, and we also appreciate your honest input on the main course stop as it helps us continue improving the experience. Good Food Good Company Good Guide Lovely City

Dan, Apr 2026
This was truly a blend of city tour and local cuisine experience. From the start of the tour with expresso coffee and croissant with a local twist to the finale of a delightful dessert the entire 3 hours were a delight. Jesus is an excellent tour guide as he led us throughout the local area. We are seniors with a bit less mobility than younger individuals and had no problems keep up with the tour. All in all about 3,000 steps with a bit of hills to climb up and down. We left full by the end of the tour and entirely satisfied with the value received. It was a small group of 10 participants of whom we corresponded with throughout the tour.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dan, what a great way to describe the experience from start to finish.
