Our tour guy was Vincent!! Vincent did an amazing job educating us on the history of Puerto Rico and more!! The rainforest is beautiful and get your legs in shape. Most of all the beautiful waterfalls/slide!! 2nd time doing this tour and it will not be my last 🥰

This experience was absolutely horrible. Our tour guide José was TERRIBLE. He told us before that people have died in n this trail before so stay close. He ended up leaving the rest of the group behind and told them good luck I’m leaving you guys. The “trail” he took us down was in fact NOT a trail. There were needles and broken glass and garbage everywhere. Someone part of group said they went the year before and the tour guide took them and paved path and it was all safe. He completely did not care about anything he called most of our group fat and told them it was too hard for them. Then when rest of the group told him that they all wanted to on the other trail because some people hurt themselves he completely said goodbye and left them all. 100% would not recommend this experience with josé. If you did want to go I would make sure you choose someone else because he truly made me fear for my life

Our guides are trained professionals responsible for the safety and well-being of all participants. In the rainforest, certain paths can be challenging, and safety instructions are essential to navigate these areas without incident. Unfortunately, not all guests choose to follow the guidance provided, which can lead to risky situations. We deeply regret that this happened during your tour.
To address your concerns:
Trail Safety: The rainforest paths are natural and can vary in terrain, including rocks, mud, and other obstacles. Our guides are instructed to take the safest possible routes based on the conditions. However, on the day of your visit, the usual path was closed out of respect for the passing of the person responsible for that area. This closure required us to navigate an alternative trail, which may not have been ideal but was the safest option available.
Cleanliness: We strive to maintain the rainforest as pristine as possible, but unfortunately, litter from other visitors is a challenge. We regularly clean the trails and encourage all visitors to respect this beautiful natural resource.
Guide Conduct: As Puerto Ricans, we often use humor as a way to connect and engage with others. Our guide may have used humor to capture attention and convey important information during the tour. However, we understand that humor is subjective and can sometimes be misinterpreted. If José's approach came across as disrespectful or inappropriate, we sincerely apologize. We will ensure that our team maintains professionalism and sensitivity while using humor to enhance the experience.
Group Choices: From what we understand, part of the group chose to follow an alternative route not led by the guide. While we respect individual decisions, our guides cannot take responsibility for risks taken outside the planned itinerary. Safety recommendations are made with the group’s best interests in mind.
We value your feedback immensely and will use it to improve our operations and ensure better communication and respect in all aspects of our tours. Overall, it was a fun experience. It was a little muddy (that’s expected being an rainforest) and treacherous for some. After we got there we had an opportunity to use the bathroom…for $1 a person. Wish I knew that ahead of time so we had small bills. Our tour guide Vincent was very personable.

The tour was nice . I underestimated the hiking part but overall it was a nice tour. I was nervous about the slippery rocks but our guide Vinny made sure we were all safe

Our guide Vincent made sure we had a good time and kept us safe! Great experience and adventure! The scenery was beautiful and peaceful until another guide arrived with a boom box playing loud music! Not a good vibe for a rain forest trip. But you can’t fix Stupid. Our guide was very respectful of nature and educated us on the rain forest and much about Puerto Rico!

River tour - I guess so, but not really a rainforest experience. We went up through a residential neighborhood and parked in front of a house. We walked through the yard and went down an embankment to a small natural waterslide. We climbed the slide and went down a few times. Fun and exciting. We then climbed over some boulders, traversing another 100 meters or so down the river to a larger pool with a smaller waterfall/waterslide and a larger pool that also had a boulder to jump off of, maybe 3 meters high. We may have technically been in a rainforest, but there was no rainforest experience like hiking through the jungle and being educated on native plants and animals.
The Luquillo Beach portion was a trip to some food stalls.

This tour was nothing like it was described online. It was supposed to go into the rainforest and go up to the observation tower. Instead, we never actually entered El Yunque at all and spent the entire supposed rainforest portion on swimming in the river and going on the rockslide. In addition, the guide told us when we arrived there to wear closed toe shoes and socks. Only after we got onto the trail did we realize we should have instead worn our swim shoes , which were now locked up on the bus. Like many other people who were misled by him, we were slipping all over the place and experiencing much foot pain because we were walking barefoot, and our regular shoes were completely muddied up. If you just want to go down a river slide and not see the rainforest, then go on this tour. Plus half of the trip time is also spent at a very mediocre beach. Why bother with that when our hotel has a nicer beach.

Ryan was absolutely awesome! Pick up was on time and drop off a breeze. Climbing through the rainforest is an unforgettable experience. For some folks, this experience may be a bit more physical than you would think. But if you’re up to pushing yourself to do something you’ve never done, you’ll love this

This was certainly a trip to remember. Names I’d never forget taking a leap of faith and jumping off a 45 ft cliff. Our tour guide Ryan was absolutely fun and amazing. The trek was challenging and you definitely should be expecting some muddy or rocky terrains and some inclines and rock climbing even. But it was so exciting and it made me feel like Lara Croft in the tomb raider. There were a water slide, a 45 ft cliff jump and a rope jump from a smaller rock. The beach was mediocre and I think it was really a location for ppl to eat. But all in all it was an amazing experience and it was hard not to bind with Ryan who was so dynamic and fun. Definitely something you should do if you like adventure. Also, bring shoes that are nonslip and you do not care to throw out.
