10/10 experience. I highly recommend this trip. It did not disappoint. Captain Gabriel and his crew were amazing. Stephanie is very knowledgeable about the boat and gave great snorkeling tips. The food and drinks were delicious. This trip is a definite must do when visiting Puerto Rico.

Everything about this experience was 100/10! The Captain and Crew were very hospitable from start to finish. Every person on our tour had such a good time! From the snorkeling when you first get there, the set up of all the amenities, the lunch, and of course the drinks! SO much fun and relaxing!

We had such an amazing time. The crew was amazing. Lunch was delicious with some of the best authentic Puerto Rican food we’ve had since our trip the waterslide was so fun. The drinks was amazing. The vibes were there we met so many new people made so many new connections 100% recommend to anyone the money is worth it especially if you’re going with a couple you’ll meet so many different couples and just mingle 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone

very fun experience if you want to try something new. you get to go to an island, they feed you lunch and the open bar is awesome. the crew was super fun too. definitely would recommend if it’s your first time in puerto rico!!! we were staying in san juan though so it was about an hour drive & waking up at 5am definitely was not fun but it was worth it in the end and you get back by 2pm so 3pm if you uber and still have time to do things in the afternoon

We booked this trip with the expectation it’d be more “Luxury” it was basic straightforward boat ride to the island . Not much excitement from the staff, they were fine just serious. The only included drink was rum punch fyi and they don’t offer you anything upon arrival and don’t serve till “after snorkeling” too many rules and then the inconvenience of being asked to get up and meet in the central part of boat before exit for a tip announcement was bizarre and slightly distasteful. The food was great though but wouldn’t recommend this tour for a girls trip.

For safety, alcoholic beverages are served only after the snorkeling portion of the excursion. This allows guests to enter the water fully alert, follow the crew’s instructions, and enjoy the marine life safely—with the fish appearing exactly the right size and color. Non-alcoholic refreshments are available during the earlier portion of the experience; however, we recognize that a welcome beverage and clearer communication upon boarding would have made your arrival feel more thoughtful.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the number of instructions and the end-of-trip gratuity announcement. Safety briefings are required, but they should be delivered graciously and without diminishing the relaxed atmosphere. Likewise, any gratuity communication should feel discreet and never make a guest uncomfortable. We will review how this is presented.
We are sorry this experience did not feel like the right fit for your girls’ trip. Your feedback is valuable and will help us strengthen the hospitality, communication, and overall sense of occasion that guests should expect from Sail Getaways.
What a memorable trip we had! Jonathan and El Capitan were our favorites, but the entire crew was absolutely amazing. The trips to and from Icacos were quick and easy. The crew was incredibly courteous and kept us hydrated. The food served for lunch was delicious. Lots of options to lounge, swim or explore the island once docked. Would highly recommend Sail Getaways!

Great excursion! We arrived around 8am to check in and there was already a line of people ahead of us, definitely heed their warnings about the check in time, they run a tight ship!
The guys on the catamaran were friendly enough, bathroom was clean and well-stocked, there appeared to be a sufficient amount of life vests available.
Lunch was good and the drinks were decent, best part was swimming once we docked, the water was crystal clear with gentle waves. Pretty chill experience overall, most of the attendees were adults between 20-50 with a handful of outliers.

Great day at Icacos with Getaway Sails. The tour ran smoothly. The boat was spacious, clean and safe. The staff was very nice and supportive. The food was delish. My only grievance is that the only alcoholic beverage offered was Rum. Any other alcoholic beverage offered was at an additional charge.

This was such a fun experience and definitely the highlight of our trip! The crew were so fun and entertaining and went above and beyond serving us drinks and food. I wouldn’t change anything about the trip. Music was great and the island was gorgeous! The food was surprisingly delicious and the drinks were great too.

I don’t often take the time to review, but this experience merits one. I came with friends looking for a relaxing experience with a twist. Here’s what I experienced with this company that was pretty unique: unlimited drinks with a great array of options both alcoholic and non alcoholic, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, water slide, swings, snorkeling, sun bathing, lounging on a water tube and meeting so many wonderful people. Book!!!! This was the best experience. Put on your sunscreen and go lol. Staff were amazing. The beach was gorg. The food was worth it, had a full plate of real food, then they brought out a fruit platter and then passed out yummy ice cream cones. Well worth it, book!

Best experience, my daughter and I went on this catamaran tour, it was really nice and beautiful time, the vessel itself is clear, with clear instructions, good drinks food and fruits in a regular interval, we started at 8.45 am and 30 mins to reach icacos Did 30 mins snorkel , not much marine life though, but enjoyed the beach itself with the swing , mat and the bean bags .. crew was great , made sure we were all ok, music was fun ..I am a non swimmer , they took care of me well too. If you will get sea sick or motion sick take some medicine

It's a nice way to experience one of the beaches off the coast of Fajardo without worrying about food and drinks or logistics… The snorkeling was very basic, and we didn't get to see much since it was done right at the beach, but in general it was a great overall excursion. The captain and crew were very helpful and attentive to everyone's needs. We all enjoyed it!

First off, I am still dreaming of how good that food was on this catamaran! Everything from the service to the drink to the food was AMAZING! The drinks were also yum and one of the servers would bring us drinks while we relaxed in the water. There is enough space on the boat to be intimate with your group + mingle with the parties in the area. There were personal floaties and other water floaties for anyone that can’t swim; or just wants to sun bathe in the water. The captain also plays a mixed playlist. Would do this again 1000%!!

Our experience exceeded every expectation! Captain Jay and the entire crew...including the two lovely ladies at check-in and our seamless shuttle drivers...were truly EVERYTHING! From the initial instructions to the open sail, every detail was handled with perfection. We felt like royalty from the moment we arrived.
Beyond the stunning blue waters, the service was standout. The handsome captain and crew were attentive and professional, with Captain Jay personally taking the time to ensure we were good, safe, and having the best time. The music was 10/10 - a curated mix of reggae and reggaeton that set the perfect "island time" mood, and the VIP birthday shout-out for my daughter was the ultimate touch...she felt super special!👑🎶
Now, for the food—the real test! As a family of foodies and Caribbeans (shout out to our Bajan🇧🇧, Trini 🇹🇹, and Guyanese 🇬🇾 roots!) we know quality, flavorful food. Honestly, the Rice & Peas were the best we’ve ever had- and coming from our community, that is the highest praise! The chicken was delicious, the pasta and green salads were fresh and flavorful, and the fresh fruit and sorbet/ice cream cones finale was a "sweet kiss" to end a perfect day. 🍦🥭🥘
If you want an excursion that is worth every penny and gives you the ultimate "bang for your buck," this is it. It was, quite simply, a Perfect Day!

You won’t regret this trip! Me & my husband had a BLAST! The captain and crew were so kind, knowledgeable and hospitable! The booking includes unlimited drinks, lunch and fruit. The island was beautiful & relaxing and even though there were 50 people on our trip the boat never felt over crowded. There were kids on the trip who had fun too& I will definitely bring my son next time. WHEN (not if) we come back to PR we will book this trip again! 100% recommend!
