I have done this tour a few times, its a great tour, it gives you the history of how Bacardi was born, you get one free Mojito drink before your tour starts, you get on a trolley and it takes you to Casa Bacardi, there they have restrooms, You end up at the bar at the end of your tour for one tasting the tour is about 45-60 min long early tour would be best so you can enjoy the rest of your day doing and exploring beautiful Puerto Rico, price was reasonable.

The tour guide spoke too fast and it was very hard to understand . I could not hear her because of the transportation
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for visiting Casa BACARDÍ and for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry it was difficult to hear and understand the guide during the transportation portion. We appreciate you flagging this and will share it with our team to help improve audio clarity and pacing for future tours.
Jessica_N, Apr 2026
Amber was an incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Highly recommended the Bacardi legacy tour!
William_M, Apr 2026
It is a good tour. Little bit short for the money. We were expecting a little more to see on rum making.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for visiting Casa BACARDÍ and for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the tour, and we appreciate your note about the length and wanting to see more of the rum-making process. For safety and operational reasons, our tours do not include entry into active production areas. We’ll share your comments with our team as we continue refining the experience.
Stephan_M, Apr 2026
It was very educational to learn the history of Rum. The tour staff allowed plenty of time for any questions.
Timothy_F, Mar 2026
It was a great tour. We both learned a lot. My partner found a rum that was delicious, BACARDÍ 10! A rum lovers dream.
Amy_E, Mar 2026
Great tour. Great drinks. Overall fun experience. Maria was an awesome tour guide. The PA golf wives give 5 stars to Keenen at the bar.
Linda_W, Mar 2026
It isn’t that easy or inexpensive to get to Casa Bacardi. We weren’t given notice that a city-wide Ironman competition was taking place. A 20-39 minute ride stretched to an hour and we were nervous about making it back to the ship on time. The Catano ferry runs on the hour (at least on the Sunday we were there) so if you miss it, you have to ride miles out of the way to return to the cruise pier.
The Legacy tour itself was really stripped down to the basics. More focused on selling alcohol in a party environment or in their gift store.
That was a one and done tour. Don’t need to repeat it.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for visiting Casa BACARDÍ and for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear the travel disruptions and ferry timing added stress to your day.
We appreciate your feedback on the Legacy Tour and how it felt on your visit. Your comments are important, and we’ll share them with our team as we continue refining the experience and improving how we communicate transportation and planning tips for guests.

Debra_H, Feb 2026
Excellent tour, highly recommend. So much history and a beautiful property to sit and relax prior to your tour.
Leandra_P, Feb 2026
Make sure you arrive at least a half hour before your tour so you can get your complimentary cocktail. We did the Legacy Tour which I found very informative. When putting on your tour wristlet, don't cinch it too tightly as there is no give to take it off.
Jina_N, Feb 2026
This was not what we expected. Transportation is one of the main problems I encountered. We were told there were shuttles available for $3 per person each way. We arrived on the ferry and no shuttles but there was a bus that said BACARDÍ. He said we could ride over with him and pay when we got there. He never mentioned a price so we were shocked at the $30 fee plus tax for the 2 of us! The tour just drives you past the factory as the guide points out the functions of the buildings. You were taken in a visitor’s center to see a film and then enter a simulation of the process in making rum. You received a small taste of a very expensive run you could purchase. Your also received a rum drink of your choice with your paid tour at the beginning. Overall, $123 for two people which is a poor value.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you for visiting Casa BACARDÍ and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience was not what you expected, especially regarding transportation and overall value.
To clarify transportation options: the shuttle from the ferry terminal is a separate service and is not operated by Casa BACARDÍ. The transportation option that includes the ferry + Casa BACARDÍ bus roundtrip is a separate package priced at $15+ tax per person, and it can be added when purchasing your ticket online or purchased directly at the Casa BACARDÍ kiosk at the port. We understand how frustrating it can be when pricing isn’t clear in the moment, and we’ll share your comments with our team to help improve how this information is communicated in advance.
Regarding the Legacy Tour, it is designed as a guided overview of our heritage and key areas of the campus, including the film and production simulation, along with a welcome cocktail and a tasting. We truly appreciate your detailed feedback, and we will share it internally as we continue refining the guest experience.
Thank you again for visiting.

Arrived 45 min early (highly recommend) and enjoyed my free cocktail and some mofongo. Tour was brief but informative. Worth the trip.
Paul_C, Feb 2026
We had Brandon as amour guide and he was phenomenal! Very passionate and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He was super friendly and welcoming.
Jeanne_A, Feb 2026
Didn’t tour any of the actually working areas on the Legacy tour, only a welcome center. Got a welcome drink and a tasting though.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the Legacy Tour did not fully meet your expectations. This experience is designed as an introduction to our history and heritage, with exterior views of the property rather than access to active production areas. We’re glad you enjoyed the welcome cocktail and tasting, and we appreciate your comments as we continue improving our guest experiences.
Bernadette_R, Feb 2026
First let me start by saying that we received a text to get to the tour 45 minutes before start time and to give ourselves enough time to travel due to heavy traffic delays. There was no traffic so there’s that. We got there early and the tour was delayed by 20 minutes. The tour itself seemed rushed. I did enjoy learning about rum and seeing the Bacardi grounds and there was a brief tasting towards the end. There’s also a photo kiosk that allows you to take photos at the waiting area, but it would be nice if it included the BACARDÍ logo.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed learning about rum and visiting the Casa BACARDÍ grounds. We apologize for the delay and understand how that may have impacted your experience. Your comments regarding pacing and the photo kiosk are appreciated and will be shared with our team as we continue enhancing the Legacy Tour. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.
joanne_h, Feb 2026
The guides and employees were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The welcome cocktail, drying the trolley seats, and answering questions were all good details. I would suggest that BACARDÍ create a sampler set of rum in their gift shop.
Jon_L, Feb 2026
Excellent tour. Learned a lot about rum making process. Didn’t care for the blasting music at check in. Cocktails were excellent.
Diana_R, Jan 2026

Jessenia_N, Jan 2026
Alejandra our tour person just knew what she was talking about we asked questions and she was on point with her answers. I wish the tour would not end. Thank you Rizos I wish we lived in the island you were so fun
Sarin_D, Jan 2026
It was very interesting and learn about the history of the family making of the brand rum. The tour was short and sweet with a complimentary drink and the food cafe was delicious👌🏽😊
GIOVANNI_R, Jan 2026
The experience was very nice!! Loved the flow of the tour. Loved the cleanliness of the facility. Staff was super friendly! Loved the movie they played however the tour guy spoke too fast and we weren’t able to enjoy the few rooms we visited.
Tiffany_C, Jan 2026
We enjoyed learning about the history of BACARDÍ rum and the family behind it. Also the pavilion bar was just lovely and the food and drinks were yummy. The manager bent over backwards to accommodate us, which I really appreciated.
Valencia_G, Jan 2026
We really enjoyed the tour. It was very informative and we both learned new things about the history and making of the Bacardi Rum. We even got a chance to taste. Defiantly a highlight of our trip.
Mia_C, Jan 2026
The tour was amazing and very informative. We had a great tour guide! The tour is definitely worth the price!
