Super friendly guide and nice quiet area. Not as much of a hike, more of a rock scramble and swim, but really fun for both kids and adults

Our guide , Sarah, was super amazing, extremely knowledgeable, and skillful with managing our group of four amigas on a stunning hike, climb up to multiple waterfalls! She tailored our adventure to our hiking skill levels and encouraged lots of fun, adventure and swimming! ( I personally am an active 66 year-old and the hike was perfect) The cave under the waterfall was breathtaking! We had Gawjus weather, with some rain only at the very end of the hike… perfect! Sarah carried great snacks and water for us which we enjoyed at the waterfall “beach”. Sarah spotted a hummingbird nest and an active bee hive on our hike back down and took some awesome pictures to share with us. We would absolutely recommend this adventure and ALL 4 of us would highly recommend that you ask for Sarah as your guide!

El Yunque is beautiful and Sean is a great guide. He took me to two areas, completely away from the crowds.

Sarah is brilliant and fun. A highlight of our trip! Love it! PS when she says to wear socks, she’s right!

On our third trip to Puerto Rico, we were looking for something off the beaten track and that’s what we got! Sarah knew this trail like the back of her hand, was extremely knowledgeable about the agriculture and just so much fun to be with. The trail was adventurous and challenging, gave us a thrill without feeling dangerous. We had romantic and joyous experience. PS when she says wear socks, she is spot on!

Slippery when wet

This is a relaxing zen visit to the two waterfalls. Take you water shoes and hiking boots for wet rock traction, The two swimming ares are very peacefully

Had a private tour in the more calm areas of el yunque , loved it! Would recommend if you’re looking to experience the rainforest without the waterslides. Fabiola was great!

A wonderful trip to the rainforest!

A fantastic experience with Sarah! We travelled into a remote and beautiful area of the rainforest with no other tourists, and swam in the natural streams / sat under waterfalls. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend to others! Thank you 😄

Sarah was excellent!!!

The hike was amazing. Challenging and beautiful. The water was very refreshing. Jesus was an awesome guide. So knowledgeable and entertenaing made our trip very special.

INCREDIBLE & THRILLING

This was a once in a lifetime tour, we ended up cling to another rainforest/river area as per our personal guide it was better based on the weather. We jumped off cliffs, climbed waterfalls and hiked through the jungle. Definitely a physically challenging experience.

Amazing Tour

Sarah gave us great historical info on Puerto Rico. She made sure we had a great time and was safe. Would def book with her again!

Great experience and liked the small group intimacy. Thank you Sarah!!!

Frann_B, May 2024
It was definitely an "experience" We weren't quite sure what to expect. Sarah was great. She was experience and provided alot of the history. When we first met she explained what to expect for the day and how challenging it might be, but we had now idea. It was great and highly recommended. I would definitely encourage you all to have a disclaimer about what all is entailed and definitely the type of clothing and shoes to wear in preparation along with maybe a hiking experience level., ie beginner hiker, intermediate hiker, experience hiker). Although we were wearing tennis shoes the rocks were quite slippery after getting our shoes wet. Great experience overall. Thank you for your patience :-)

Challenging but so rewarding!!!

Raquel_R, May 2024
We wanted a challenging and rigorous hike and that is exactly what we got. Our guide, Jesus, was great at picking out the perfect spot to begin our adventure. We climbed on rocks, swam through waterfalls, and made our way through parts of the forest. The views were breathtaking and the adrenaline rush kept us going the entire three hours of the journey. This was definitely one of the coolest things we have ever experienced.

Solo travelers, use this company :)

Kai_L, Mar 2024
I had a great time. Jean was very knowledgeable about PR, El Yunque, the Taino natives. Etc. The climb wasn’t as hard as I thought, and with Jean’s help, it was fun and pretty easy to maneuver. The hidden falls were gorgeous and I can’t wait to share the photos I took. So much to photograph in only 5 hours. This was a solo trip, but I felt very safe. Great tour! Will certainly use this company when I return with friends.

Great time and matches our skills

Robert_B, Feb 2024
We had a great time! Small group setting the guide (Jean Louis) tailored the trip to our abilities. We loved the waterfalls. Well worth the money. Highly recommend!

Very slippery rock "hike," not a trail hike.

Deborah_A, Jan 2024
Although the experience had its good points, it's important to know that this "hike" is not a hike on trails, but on rocks (very slippery, wet rocks!). Two of us couldn't really complete the "hike," because of the treacherous nature of the "trail," which is all slippery rocks up to a waterfall. The guide was outstanding, and did his best to help us, but it wasn't the hike on trails we were expecting. The water was gorgeous, but just be aware.

A great trip

Mary_D, May 2023
We were just two and Jean Louis was able to take us to a less travelled part of El Yunque. We had a good hike, listening to birds and looking at foliage. We soaked in a swift running waterfall and climbed up rocks to the calm, clear pool where we swam and sunned. A thoroughly enjoyable trip and only an hour from San Juan.

An amazing rainforest experience

Krista, Apr 2023
Our guide Edwin made this the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. He was very laidback and communicative, we could really tell that he wanted to share his knowledge about the area and make our experience memorable. It was a very secret area of El Yunque without any crowds or noise aside from the nature itself. If you are looking for a unique experience with someone who truly loves the rainforest and Puerto Rico, I would highly recommend this tour.

Awesome trip!

Uma_R, Dec 2021
Wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable about the history and terrain. Drove safely. We enjoyed so much. Lovely view from the point where the bay can be seen from the forest. Champagne on the high rock above a waterfall. Can’t beat it. 👍👍👍😊😊😊
