Absolutely amazing time. Nelson was great and made sure we had a blast. The rainforest was beautiful and the water slide was so much fun! Afterwards he took us to the beach and we had the best Mofongo! 10 out 10 made us feel like family and we would definitely recommend!

our tour guide Richard was amazing but the tour was not an accurate discription. They never went el Yunque where it was supposed to be the first stop for 2 hours it was totally skipped.

This was my families first adventure on the island. It was great; pick up and drop off was seamless. Our tour guide Miguel was knowledgeable; told some facts of the island but not too much to bore us. It was sooo stressful and safe under his guidance.I would book this company again!!!!!! You won’t regret your money.

Nelson and crew were very accommodating and kind. They picked us up at our hotel and took us to El Yunque where we hiked, did the natural water slides and saw waterfalls. On the way there we also stopped at a delicious Frutera that had fruit smoothies, lunch food, snacks, water shoes and more. After the rainforest we went to Loquillo beach and hung out there. The beach was great and there were lots of restaurants close by for lunch/dinner. Our entire family enjoyed the day and I would highly recommend Nelson and his team!

Write-up indicated plenty of water for duration of trip. No water was provided. There was a quick roadside stop to purchase snacks/water/ smoothies, though. Our tour guide, William Omar was WONDERFUL! Took FANTASTIC photos/video! Would've liked to SEE more of the rainforest! Natural water slides were cool. Refreshing water, not too cold. Lovely! Initial emails & texts from Viator, then Activ (although we received info that trip was thru Utopia, quite confusing!) were very confusing. One message had us meeting at Marriott at 9:30, finally picked-up at 10:35. Upon return learned that we could have been transferred from The Condado Plaza where we were staying. Thankfully, William returned us to The Condado rather than the Marriott. Read ALL texts before your trip. Hopefully that'll save the wait to start your adventure. Texts come from MULTIPLE numbers.

Our guide Jonathan was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and supportive especially when tackling the water slide. He was engaging and made the trip fun.
Only negative is the van used for transport. AC was barely working and not cleaned out from prior trip. My expectations are minimal. No left over water bottles and bear bottles and lunch.

The trip started with a slight delay but once our driver arrived, Jose was absolutely fantastic and made sure we had the best tour of the rain forest and a fantastic swim in the ocean with crystal clear water!! Highly recommend!! Thank you Jose!!! Best Honeymoon ever!

It was a great experience. Very beautiful and guide was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the guide took all the videos and pictures on his phone and he have yet to receive them. After contacting him multiple times through messaging and phone calls we have still yet to get a response. Overall it was a great experience just wish we had take the pictures and videos on our phone or he would send them to us. We wanted to use our own phones but he insisted he use his. Recommend this but take your own pictures and videos. The rainforest is beautiful and if you are looking for a long stay to see everything I wouldn’t do this tour. It was perfect for us with the transportation and a faster pace visit so if that is what you are looking for highly recommend!

The El Yunque rainforest is a must while in Puerto Rico, but I recommend another company. They were unclear about pickup time and ran late - we even had to stop for gas. They did not provide adequate transportation for our numbers, luckily a taxi at our hotel stepped in to help. But we were crammed in unsafely for portions of the tour. The main tour guide was more concerned about making videos for TikTok than our experience. At Luquillo, Kiosk #33 was closed. We weren’t given a lot of time at Luquillo and he changed the return time without notifying everyone. I was traveling with students and they said he was using his phone and had been drinking before the drive home. However, I will say that one of our party did leave a bag with money and they were kind enough to return it to the hotel.

Phone Usage: The phone was solely used to play music for the group, which many guests enjoyed during the drive. It was never used in an unprofessional manner.
Safety & Professionalism: I do not consume alcohol, and all beverages served (including piña coladas) were non-alcoholic. Your group’s safety was always my priority.
Kiosk #33: I’m disappointed it was closed during your visit—it’s our top recommendation for authentic local dining.
Photos/Videos: These were taken to share memories privately with guests. We do not have TikTok and would never prioritize social media over your experience.

My sister and I went on this tour together and it wasted an entire day of our trip. For starters we were told the night before the pickup time was 9:30-10:30 am and when I asked for specifics they wouldn’t tell us anything else. So we went to the meetup spot at 9:30 and they called up around then and we met them in the shuttle. The other families did not get there until after 10:30. I can’t even blame them because the instructions were unclear. The tour guide told us that the latest we would wait was until 11:00 after we had already been sitting in the van for 45 minutes.
So finally we actually get to the tour and the guide is stressing that we need socks so we don’t slip on the rocks and not to bring anything because it could get lost. Don’t let them convince you to buy socks and bring whatever you want on the hikes. I didn’t even have my phone to take pictures and the ones they take for you are just okay. The hikes were fine, it was a muddy and we weren’t able to swim at the first location due to rain the day before. The guide, however, was an extreme stickler for safety and made the whole thing such a drag. He kept saying “Don’t be creative” and we weren't allowed to step anywhere other than where he told us to. At one point I slightly slipped (literally no harm done) and he gave me the biggest “I told you so” speech as if I was a child. We couldn’t do anything on our own, including the slide. There were little kids standing on rocks and sliding down and he made us crawl up in front of the some 50 people there, it was honestly embarrassing. Then he spent 15 minutes telling us how to go down the slide, making it so no one else there could get past. When he came down last he didn’t follow what he told us to do anyways.
This hike has no age restrictions or swimming requirements. One of the families had three kids with them, around 3, 5, and 6. The three year old cried and whined the entire time and one of the older kids had a iPad at max volume on the shuttle. None of the four adults could swim, at one point my sister and I pulled two of the them out of the current. The photos had mostly adults but know this is a risk. We almost didn’t do part of the hike/second slide we paid for because the guide didn’t think they would make it. Because we took so long to everything thanks to the little kids, by the time we got to Luquillo we only had an hour to spend there. We barely had time to sit down and get food, we did not even get to go to the beach.
That all being said we were only in PR for 4 days and really wanted to see El Yunque but this tour was a waste of all whole day. The guide really did seem like a nice guy but made us feel like we were on a school trip with strict rules. The slides were a couple seconds of fun, the hikes just fine, and the beach, who knows we don’t get to go.

4. Beach Time Allocation: At Luquillo Beach, we provide 60-90 minutes for guests to either:
Enjoy the beach
Have a meal
Combine both activities
The choice is yours - if you opted to dine rather than visit the beach, that was your personal decision.
5. Safety Measures: Our guides enforce necessary precautions because even minor slips can be dangerous. What you perceived as excessive caution actually represents our commitment to your safety.
While we regret aspects of your experience didn't meet your expectations, we stand by our professional standards and safety protocols that protect all guests in this challenging environment.

The waterslide was a 5 for sure…. The actual logistics during the tour like pickups and restroom stops and had issues that can be fixed. Rainforest walk was very short but enjoyable. There was not enough time at the food kiosks to see the beach. Fun day but short time on some stops.

If you are in Puerto Rico for a few days, I highly recommend that you do this utopia rainforest Trail with Nelson. He was very friendly and included a free tour guide for us which usually cost around $40. He was great company and let us play our own music on the ride and took us all over San Juan

The best tour experience I have ever had. Nelson was the most accommodating , professional and knowledgeable Tour Guide. He took us to places that other groups did not visit. A much more local experience. We booked for a group of 6 and even had a 5 year old with us. Everyone had a blast and wouldn’t have celebrated my birthday any other way. Where to begin?! This experience was SO fun and it was all because of the amazing energy that our tour guide brought! He went above and beyond with everything! He was so flexible with the tour and was super receptive to the group wants/needs. He always kept peoples energy up and everyone was friends by the time the day was halfway over. We saw beautiful spots ~in~ El Yunque, which is actually quite rare on other tours because most don’t enter the national park, just go near it. We went into it and were able to explore beautiful waters around it too. Luquillo beach was fun also, with many food options and jet ski rentals available. It was a great day to remember and I highly recommend this trip and this company!
