My partner & I visited Puerto Rico for the first time ever. We stayed for 5 days & definitely wanted to do a few excursions while we were there. I booked the "Hiking to a Hidden Waterfall Adventure" & our experience was AMAZING! Isaac was our tour guide for day. He picked us up from our hotel & shared with us, the history of Puerto Rico. It was very informative & interesting. We appreciated Puerto Rico even more! We stopped at a bakery for sweets & coffee before we made it to our destination. We're not experienced hikers at all! Isaac was great with guilding us through the rainforest. There was a small group with us & he made sure that noone was left behind. I would go into detail about waterfall itself, but you have to book this to experience it for yourself. What I will say is that it is worth it and when you see that waterfall up close & personal, it will be one of the best feelings EVER!!!

Jerry was awesome— great energy, super knowledgeable, VERY accommodating, and the hike and waterfall we did was gorgeous! The hike was a little strenuous, so be prepared, but absolutely worth it! The food after too, INCREDIBLE, everything about this experience was 5+ stars!!

Wow! What a fabulous day. Absoultely an off the beaten path experience! Manuel was an amazing tour guide, make sure to request him. His personality was great, started the trip with jokes, Trivia questions, and karaoke. We started by getting breakfast at a little local bakery, and had the amazing experience of meeting his cousins and nieces! We then arrived at the waterfall! No one, or even 2, but 3! And we literally climbed up them, "through the river, and along the woods, to Manuels secret waterfalls we go!" We were the only group at this site for the entire time, so definitely is not a tourist filled place, which is hidden gem experience we were looking for!
Bring good watershoes, as you definitely walk over rocks and water. After an hour of cliff jumping, Manuel took us to a local restaurant, where he made the effort to call ahead so our food was ready upon arrival! So thoughful he was the entire trip! The food was deliciously flavored! On the ride home, we sang more karaoke. He said he had 1 more song to play, and it was a custom song he wrote during the excursion just for our trip! Wow, amazing! What a delightful day! If you want a local experience with no other tourists around, book this trip!

This is a top notch experience! Yes, you get to see one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in PR, but this is not an easy hike there. Make sure you wear hiking shoes with good grip because a lot of the rocks are very slippery that you have to climb over. Jesus was an excellent tour guide who offered awesome history and humor the whole tour! Highly recommend this to hike to whoever is adventurous and wants to see a place where only the locals know about!

Manuel and Jerry were great host with such positive and funny personalities. They were super cautious about keeping the group safe, especially since we had a small group of kids.
The hike was a journey and not for the faint of heart but the Waterfall was so worth it! My son says this was the best part of our Puerto Rico Trip.

This tour exceeded my expectations. Jerry was an exceptional tour guide. Truly passionate about what he does. The hidden waterfall is truly breathtaking, and the rainforest was so peaceful. Swimming in the waters after the hike was so refreshing. The authentic Puerto Rican food concluding the trip was delicious! I highly recommend this trip while in Puerto Rico.

The entire trip was authentic, invigorating, and adventurous. Jesus picked us up in his intrepid van, Maria, on time and we were comfortably on our way. The van ride to the hiking spot was its own adventure. The hike out to the waterfall was an advanced hike, and it recommend good grip water shoes. I did it in running shoes and I was fine, but I knew it could have been better. This was followed by lunch and a less adventurous ride back. We were all done by 3:30.

This was a great tour! Ask for Jesus as your tour guide he's the best!!! The food at the end is the best part besides swimming under the waterfall. Bring about $20 per person for the food :)

Manuel is phenomenal! So much positive energy and fun. Had a blast. This is a REAL hike, wear good shoes with grip. The waterfall is magical. Having a change of clothes was really nice but not necessary. The trail is partially shaded but still sunny so definitely take that into account. Stop on the way back included the option for food and drinks intended for locals. Mouth watering taste! Could not recommend more. Follow Manuel’s directions and you’ll beat traffic to return before the late afternoon!

Jesús was our tour on 4/26/22. I loved how diverse our group was. Puerto Rico/Delaware, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, Russia, and New York. Everyone was super fun to interact with. We highly recommend this trip. It’s the chance of a lifetime. My husband and I and our 5 year old son had a blast! Jesus educated us on Puerto Rico history and the beauty of Puerto Rican culture. Jesus was outstanding and took care of us all like a true family member. We joked, laughed, and shared wonderful memories. The hiking is very challenging so please be mindful. I recommend wearing high ankle shoes to avoid any sprains/injury. The water in the mountains is very cold but extremely refreshing after that long hike. The waterfall is breathtaking. I climbed up as high as I could go. Don’t think twice and book this reservation now!

This was a wonderful hike that picked us up from the hotel and took us on an adventure of hiking and moderate climbing around rocks. The view at the end of the waterfall was amazing as was swimming in the natural pool of water. Water shoes might be helpful but tennis shoes that your not afraid to get wet are just as sufficient. Manuel was an amazing tour guide. If you’re a more experienced hiker, he lets you venture a little further than the group. We finished the hike off with great food family style with the rest of the group and dropped us off at the hotel afterwards!

This is my first time to Puerto Rico, and I’ve heard from several people about this specific hike, and was most excited to take part! From the very beginning the energy was amazing, our fantastic hiking guide Manuel was energetic, amiable and had really great comedic timing. He really helped me and my group feel comfortable with what was upcoming and he kept the excitement high throughout. The hike itself was absolutely stunning, from feeling immersed in nature, it really felt like being one with the jungle itself. Once seeing the waterfall it was truly majestic and beautiful and the water was so refreshing and cool. Kind of like a reward after such a fun and challenging hike. The photo opportunities were absolutely enchanting, and the feeling of accomplishment was momentous. I honestly cannot wait to do it again! Afterwards we went to a restaurant altogether with our entire group, even those we have bonded with during the hike and it was amazing to sit down at a table like a real family and eat together and share memories from our journey! I would absolutely recommend this to everyone wanting to enjoy the true essence of Puerto Rico, the ethereal views at the waterfall, and the great camaraderie with the amazing tour guides! Ask for Manuel ! He is top notch!

What a wonderful adventure with an amazing guide , Jesus. When you are with Jesus, you are familia. He shared Puerto Rican history, the beauty of the lands, and an adventure of a lifetime to an amazing sight to behold. The trail is no joke , not a walk in the park. You get to experience true hiking and the reward at is a waterfall that defies words—magical! Afterwards we were taken to enjoy an authentic Puerto Rican meal at a super local restaurant. Words cannot describe how magnificent the day was! We will most definitely spend the day again next time we visit Puerto Rico. Cherished memories!!!

We had a great time on this hike!Prior to the hike, I received detailed instructions from Manuel about the logistics of the pick up etc. From the moment we were picked up, the fun began. Manuel was entertaining, engaging and tried to make the group feel cohesive. The hike included walking in water, over rocks and under and over tree limbs. It was very beautiful. There was an optional climb to the lower part of the waterfall which was not difficult but required careful footing. At all times, Manuel tried to make us feel safe. I did not find it especially challenging and I was the oldest person on the hike. Appropriate footwear with traction is a must because it was muddy and slippery.Also, I recommend a bag that enables you to be hands free.The lunch afterwards was quite good and the place was open air ( ie. felt covid safe) with a view.The place accommodated vegetarians. Thank you to Manuel for a fantastic day. I highly recommend doing this hike with him.

Manuel was a great tour guide. Easy going and fun personality who provided lots of good information and laughs along the long drive. The hike is not for a beginner and it took about an hour to get to the stunning waterfall. A fun, out of comfort zone for me, easy for my 14 year old daughter. The roadside restaurant was delicious! From pick up to drop off, it was about 8 hours.

We had an absolute blast on this unique experience. Manuel was outgoing, personable, and made the entire trip enjoyable. You can tell that Manuel is passionate about sharing his culture and provides info about the area in a fun way.
This is probably the most memorable part of our entire time in Puerto Rico. If you are debating taking this trip DO IT!!!
The lush rainforest, smaller waterfalls, and water pools to cool off and swim in were beautiful. The last waterfall at the end will take your breath away!!!!

Hike was challenging, but waterfall at the end made it all worth it. Our group loved the lunch at the end - we were able to try several Puerto Rican dishes. They were SO GOOD! Our guide, Isaac, was awesome! Funny, intelligent, full of stories and history of the island. If you are capable of a moderate to difficult hike, we recommend this fully. There is one area that is close to rock climbing. Note - you hike as a group, not individually.

Good morning me and my boyfriend took this adventure to see the waterfalls along with hiking. I would recommend it the services Were excellent. Isaac Was our tour guide he was great great great he looked out for us he kept up safe he guided us to the waterfall when we got there I’ll it was breathless we also had a great group with us we all looked out for each other make sure everybody was safe and nobody was left behind the lunch was great we had afterwards. I would recommend wearing good shoes eat a good breakfast and don’t carry a lot of stuff it will weight you down. Thanks again Isaac and for carrying my bag😊

I went on this adventure with my family. It was amazing! Issac was our leader. He was very knowledgable about the area and an extremely consciousness leader. He was very helpful to myself, as someone in their fifties and not as agile as others. He always had a helping hand or comment of where to place my foot for safe passage. The waterfall was breath taking and is now my phone's screen wallpaper. The bakery we stopped at was super yummy and we enjoyed the food sampler afterwards, especially the pina coloda. This is a must do if you are in the San Juan area.

Excellent hike, wonderful guide, fantastic destination. I even got a free skin treatment from the nibbling fish in the pool! And the meal afterwards gave us a great taste of the local diet. Well rounded experience.
Beware, the hike is not for the faint of heart. My athletic brother and I did just fine, but one person in our group couldn't make it all the way up the slippery rocks.
