Meeting instructions: As soon as you disembark from the ship, our drivers will be there waiting for your arrival outside the ship terminal. 1. To get to our drivers from the Mahogany Bay’s Terminal, Walk outside and you see the Taxi’s on your left. If not then please take a left and follow the main road up the hill for few minutes, until you get to the MAIN GATE OF THE PORT. Once you pass the guard, keep walking down and look for the drivers on the right side. 2. To get to our drivers from the Coxen Hole Port of Roatan Terminal, When you get off the ship, please exit to gate 1 for pick-up. You'll find our representatives, who will supply you with the transportation.

We had a great experience with Davis as our guide. We had a private tour in a good quality minivan whilst on Roatan during a cruise ship visit. We enjoyed seeing the island and visiting the monkey sanctuary, chocolate factory and West Bay beach. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience and very personal, just the 2 of us. Oscar went above and beyond to show us all the highlights of Roatan. The wildlife experience was brilliant, letting us up close with holding and feeding the animals in the reserve. The guide there was passionate about all the animals and their welfare and conservation. Would definitely recommend this experience on your visit to Roatan.

It was great that we got to experience as much of the island on our time. The tour in the animal sanctuary was one on one with a guide, great time! The driver was very friendly! Only hard part was the meeting point! But it was communicated very promptly.

First rate comms from Jose prior to meeting up with him. He is an exceptional tour guide and ambassador for his company. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient and generous(he even bought toothpaste for my wife and I !!) - what more could a traveller in a foreign country want? The half day tour was well thought out and we saw all the main tourist attractions, species of animals and views that Roatan had to offer. Best excursion taken ever. On our private excursion tour in Roatan with Jose, we had a wonderful time. Visited the Wildlife Refuge, seeing Butterflies, Monkeys, macaws and even a Sloth. Went on a driving island tour including the rum factory, and the chocolate factory. Recommend this tour highly.

Exiting the port there are GOBS of tour companies trying to meet up with their people or to get more. It was overwhelming BUT everyone was so kind and helpful once we said we have reservations. After walking up and down the street of guides numerous times and people trying to help us find our guy, Jerry from Roatan Blessing Tours looked at my reservation and said he knew who it was and called them for me, then he said he would wait with us until he arrived!! I live how all the guys supported each other!! Jonathan arrived and we had a short walk to his car and then like a 15 min drive to the zoo where’s we chatted along the way. The zoo was awesome!!! The sloth was my favorite!! The caretaker did a fantastic job photographing us with the sloth and it was obvious how much the sloth loved him! Even though it was rainy, it just added to the tropical forest experience. When we left ther, we hit the chocolate shop and the rum shop (don’t miss the view on the back deck at the rum shop; it’s breath taking! We made an unplanned stop when I asked to get conditioner (the ship had a 2 in 1 and after 2 days my hair felt like straw). Jonathan stayed with me the whole time telling me the price in dollars and walking me to the register to ensure the price disnt “change” on me. I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time with him in Roatan. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Our guide, Danny, was amazing! He was energetic, enthusiastic, polite, and just fun. Being from the island, he shared so much with us! The stops we made were very interesting and enjoyable. He even recommended a local dining spot. We loved getting to know him. If we come again, we’d definitely use the same tour company, and request him if possible. We’d highly recommend this tour to others.

Our tour guide Emilio was great. We got to the exit of a port a little early, and he was there waiting g for us. It was a short walk to his van, but he offered to get us a taxi to take us over there if we needed. He was very friendly and told us about the island as we made our way to the Minkey and Sloth experience. He brought us right over to our guide there. It was a great time there, and were able get some great pictures. From there we visited a chocolate factory and rum factory. We had an early departure, so we’re were not able to got to the beach destination. Emilio did take us to a couple different areas to take great photos of the island.

Davis the tour guide was AWESOME!!! During the drives to different locations he told us history and different things about the island. We added extra adventures on our tour. Would highly recommend Viator.

This was on of the best excursions I have ever been on. Danny was our guide and he was beyond excellent. He really went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time. He was friendly and very knowledgeable, we could not have asked for more. It was an excellent experience. It's very important that when you walk to the meeting spot you will have to search through a sea of other vendors holding up signs. Look for Roatan Exclusive. Kevin took us on a great trip on the island exploring the culture, trying the foods, stopping at places of interest. This isn't a normal tour. It's catered to your family and your interests. The sloth was a bit disappointing because they no longer allow you to hold it. It was fun seeing monkeys roaming free. The night monkey was adorable. Kevin did his best and went over and beyond to provide us with a meaningful experience. Best of all..he got us back to the ship on time. WOO HOO. Folks, I highly recommend Kevin and this company for your exploration of Roatan.

Touching sloths is now outlawed in Honduras. This provider had a "sloth handler" who took care of 16 animals and used one a day as a photo op. I think I have the numbers correct.
The photo op was fantastic. He had the sloth on a big stick/limb and was able to position us around the subject and he took a lot of pictures with our camera.
The other animals at this location were also very good and the monkeys were particularly photogenic.
Over all I would recommend these guys...
Our driver was very nice and efficient. A visit to chocolate factory and the a pass by the beach and the rum place as we had been there before were OK...

Ramses was a good, fun driver with a lot of knowledge. We did not feel rushed in any of the stops along the way. Ramses was also very good and caring with our young child. Excursions can be difficult with a young child but Ramses made it easy

I was in Roatan 2 years ago and had an amazing time at an interactive experience with the sloths and monkeys. A new law went into effect Apil 1st which prevents any holding and interaction with these animals so the excursion was like going to a low end zoo. I booked a cruise that stops in Roatan specifically for the interactive experience. What a let down. We tried going to the beach at what our guide said was the nicest beach club on the island. The water is a very brown like the Hudson River. The bottom was muddy, rocky, and seaweed filled. Everything but sand. I will purposely avoid any cruise itinerary that stops in Roatan. Without the sloths and monkey experience there really is absolutely nothing there worth seeing or doing. By the way - this is the first time I've ever left a negative review on Viator. All the other islands and tours I've been on have been great. Sorry Roatan.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your experience in Roatán didn’t meet your expectations.
However, your review doesn’t really reflect the service we provided. The new law that prevents holding sloths and monkeys is a government regulation that we must follow—it’s meant to protect the animals and their well-being. We know it can be disappointing, especially if you were expecting that interaction, but it’s completely out of our control.
As for the beach, Roatán is known for crystal-clear waters and white sand. Brown water and muddy bottoms are not the norm here unless there was heavy rain recently, which can happen on any tropical island.
Also, there’s no mention of anything negative about our actual service, so we assume everything went well with your tour. It feels unfair to rate us poorly over issues that have nothing to do with the quality of the service we gave you.
We truly appreciate all feedback, but we kindly ask that it reflects our work and not frustrations with things beyond our control.

I have nothing bad to say about this tour. Our tour guide Ramses made this day one of the most memorable ever. We booked this as part of one of our port stops on a cruise but we are already planning on flying back soon and spending a couple days in Roatan to explore more with Ramses. He took us around the city while giving us so much information and fun facts. The rum factory was a nice stop and we had a blast at the monkey/sloth sanctuary. Amazing experience, excellent tour guide, and totally worth it!

We loved the sloth and monkey part of the tour. We each got to hold the sloths and the monkey were so fun! The chocolate factory was disappointing- it was basically a store with a person who said here’s how we make chocolate with a pointer and poster. We didn’t buy chocolate because it was so hot we were afraid it would melt. The samples tasted good tho! The tour guide recommended a great place for lunch. The food was good but it took so long we missed the rum factory (but we were so disappointed in the chocolate tour that we easily let it go). Our guide was nice but didn’t seem inclined to tell us anything without our asking and questions. She showed us a boat that had sunk 200+ years ago. So we loved some parts, I had high expectations given my Viator experiences from other countries. It could be that hat roatin just doesn’t have the story to tit lol but I doubt that.

We met our driver, Emilio Martinez, exactly where and when we were supposed to meet. He met us with a van that was perfect for us. I had a transportable scooter and a wheeled walker and they both fit in the back. Emilio was very helpful and informative through the whole tour. He even had cold drinks for us ready in the van, which was appreciated greatly.
The sloth and monkey sanctuary was the best time! We also visited a chocolate store and a rum store providing free samples. (the chocolate rum is very tasty). I had mentioned that I wanted to try the Monkey LaLa and he took us to a local restaurant where we had a great meal and I discovered my new favorite cocktail!. Everyone in our group of four had a great time. So glad we had Emilio for a guide and will try to get him again on our next trip to Roatan. Thanks Emilio for the great experience! Larry Hardcastle

This was a excellent private tour! Emilio was outstanding. He took us everywhere we wanted to go. He even filled the cooler up with ice and beers. He gave my grandson Honduras currency as a souvenir. We went to see the sloths, monkeys and parrots.Highly recommend doing that. We ate at a great restaurant that Emelio recommended. We went into town and went to the chocolate factory. Emelio spoke great English, he had a great fun personality and made us feel very safe. Most importantly he got us back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. We really enjoyed this tour! It was worth every penny. Definitely book this tour and request Emelio!

We had such a great time with Davis! He took us to the Monkey and Sloth exhibit! Super nice facility and very clean! Sloths are adorable. Took us by the chocolate shop. Very crowded but was local. And then a rum shop with a beautiful overlook!
Davis was super sweet and helped my elderly parents so much! Would definitely book again!
