Missed sunset.

We were picked up 30 mins late, from then on it was disorganised chaos. The guide had to go buy the tickets but we ended up in the same queues for sugar loaf mountain, we missed the sunset (which was the whole point!!) and ended up seeing it in the dark. Really disappointed, the guide did his best and told us some interesting facts but I would never recommend this. Christ the redeemer part was fine.

We had a great time at Christ the Redeemer. It was the perfect amount of time to get photos. They did change the time of our reservation a a day or two prior which was a little annoying since we wanted to be there early but nonetheless still a great experience!

I booked the early tour with a view to avoiding the worst of the crowds, but they changed the time so went when it was very crowded. Lucia was a great guide, kept things under control and navigated the chaos.

This is basically a shuttle service to take you to Christ The Redeemer and Sugar Loaf. This is in no way a reflection on the driver and the guide who were very helpful and informative. You get to these places as everyone else maybe with an expedite process of getting tickets but that's it. Might be worth it in high season but not the shoulder period.

Disappointing

The tour we booked was combined with a different tour group who had a full day tour. For a 3hr tour, I had expected to stay at Christ the Redeemer longer. We stayed only 45 min since the other group had more sites to see. Also had to wait while the other group was dropped off at Sugar Loaf before we could return to our hotel. Felt like a lot of time was wasted especially when we were not one of the first to arrive at Corcovado. The place was already packed.

Hi Jasmine, we are very sorry. On the description of your tour it says you stay 45 min at the top of the Monument. Christ Statue is number one attraction in Rio and during a holiday is really packed since they open. But I hope you enjoyed the view and enjoyed Rio.

Great pre tour information re our hotel pick up time. Good driver. Gisele was an efficient and helpful tour guide. It was easy for us to buy the entrance ticket with the credit card. We were one of the first to reach the Christ the Redeemer statue on a day with clear blue skies. This gave us stunning views of the surrounding area. The statue itself is very impressive and well worth a photo. The road trip up and down was also interesting. We were delivered back to our hotel in good time via a comfortable van.
