Lifeguards are available to all passengers and are intended for emergency situations only. If the customer wishes to use a life jacket for recreational purposes during the tour, an additional fee will be charged.
The time indicated at the time of the Reservation is merely indicative. The day before the tour, we will contact via WhatsApp with the boarding details. If the boarding address is not provided, the final meeting point will be : Socialtel Lapa - Rua Visconde de Maranguape, 9.
Lunch will not be served before the boat ride as some people may feel uncomfortable due to the movement of the boat. Lunch will be served between 14:30 and 15:30. We recommend taking snacks and water to consume on the bus during the journey.

The tours normally operate even in adverse weather conditions and are cancelled only in exceptional circumstances, when the Navy of Brazil does not authorize the departure of the boat.
NOTE: Do not dispose of any items in the toilet (including toilet paper).
The vessels do not operate when overloaded and are inspected by the Navy of Brazil. During the high season, we prioritize larger boats, always within the legal limits.
Transport Rio - Angra dos Reis – two options: Hotel shuttle (if available for your accommodation): If you choose hotel shuttle, you will be picked up directly at your accommodation, but you will need to participate in the boarding of the other passengers. The transfer will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From the last meeting point, the journey to Angra dos Reis will take 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Final meeting point: If you prefer to avoid the hotel transfer, you can go directly to the final meeting point by selecting Socialtel Lapa - Rua Visconde de Maranguape 9 on your Reservation. From there, the journey to Angra dos Reis will take 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Confusing booking on Viator

We stayed at a hotel in Barra and during the booking on Viator we picked the hotel name in the form. The order went through and our voucher said pick up at our hotel. However, less than 24hrs before the trip we were told there was only pickup 45 minutes away, and given that the trip is already many hours in a van to get to Angra, we decided not to go and couldn’t get our money back. They pointed to fine print in the booking about no pickup in Barra.

Raunchy, dirty and uncomfortable

The guide was very good but the boat was so packed with people we could hardly find a seat and it was very uncomfortable- the bathrooms were so gross and dirty that it was obscene- I do not recommend for older folks who like a little comfort but for the younger folks it seemed to be fun according to my kids- the speaker for music was broken and the bus smelled like feces as the bathroom was not clean- I would not recommend

Party boat

Many things on this trip did not match the description. The day started with getting a phone call at 0640 saying the bus was outside waiting (tour was supposed to start at 0730). It took 2 hours to pick everyone up. We then had a 2 hour trip (AFTER the 2 hour pickup of everyone) to a boat with 120 people - the tour description says 45 people max. When I questioned the amount of people I was told that only applies to the bus, not the actual tour. The boat was a party boat. The music was so load you could not hold a conversation with the person right next to you. There were no snacks or even water unless you paid extra. Lunch wasn't until the end of the day, around 3:30. The boat was so crowded people had to sit on the wet floor, and we were told typically there are 150 on the boat, today was light at 120. The food on the island was good and as described. The bus was comfortable. Overall, we would never do this tour again, nor would we recommend it. The tour description needs to be improved greatly as it is very misleading.

Huge disapointment

This was by far the worst guided tour we ever did. Not only was the boat loaded with close to 100 people (although the description said it would be max 45 people) but not one person from the staff spoke a single word of English although we specifically chose this tour because it was supposed to be offered in English. On top of this the transfer took more than 1 hour longer than it should have, the music on the boat was so loud that we couldn’t speak. almost all the drinks in the bar solf out during the first 2 hours and the lunch buffe was terrible. This was a total waste of money and time. Would not recommend to anyone.

The journey time, it is specified that it is 3 hours from Rio de Janeiro to Angra dos Reis, however the agency cannot be held responsible for traffic in high season. And to return to Rio we have more than 3 hours of travel. If it is a collective visit, in the same way that we pick you up from your hotel, we must also pick up the other customers. As for the food, we have no complaints from other customers regarding the quality. It is recommended to have lunch at the end of the tour, in order to avoid the discomfort and nausea of having lunch before and after the boat trip. Apart from this precision, we have more than 40 people as witnesses who did the same tour as you and on the same day the tour was great and without any complaints, we have all our fingerprints here. We're totally open to feedback, but true doesn't mean feedback like yours.

Wonderful views. Relex time. Very well schooner boat. Freindly staff. Excellent guide, responsible and freindly Diego Siva. We were the only English speaking among more than forty people and we got special attention. That is most appreciated.

Bof, pas ma tasse de thé

Ça ne m'a pas plus mais ça pourrait plaire à d'autres : Négatif : mal chance d'être le 1er dans le ramassage des clients dans les hôtels- début ramassage 7h, fin du ramassage 10h! 3 heures à tourner virer dans Rio. Le bruit sur le bateau : musique ok, hurlements du guide dans le micro, non. Repas (bof bof) servi à 16h30. Du coup le guide propose qu'on achète un plat pour manger un peu à midi - pas prévu, chère, pas bon. Positif : la balade en bateau et surtout la baignade. Voilà voilà La description de la journée (7h, 22h) dont 5 heures de ramassage et déposé des clients dans les hôtels, n'est vraiment pas clair sur Viator.
