Hand-painted azulejos, or tiles, can be found all throughout Portugal, but their rich cultural history can be easy to overlook on your own. This method tiles need to be fired in a ceramic kiln at 1,100°C (2,012°F), it takes up to 5 days to pick up or can be shipped. -Or choose the ready-to-go acrylic painting option, where your unique tile is sealed and ready to be taken home right after the workshop. Both allow you to create a unique piece of art to cherish. The session takes place in our working artist studio and gallery, surrounded by contemporary art and creative energy. Led by a professional artist, you’ll paint step by step, no experience needed, while also receiving insider tips of Porto’s best art galleries, museums, tile-covered architecture, and local restaurants.
