This is a wonderful private tour of the Douro Valley region including a boat tour in Pinhão, wine tastings and lunch. Our guide Jorge was good company, a good driver and provided us with helpful information about the region and the history of port. All in all it was a great experience!

A day out in the Douro. A nice drive out to the Douro from Porto where we took an hour long ride in an electric boat (quiet!) and tasted two wines, a visit to a wonderful wine cellar with a very informative talk about Port and Douro wines, a lovely lunch in Sabrosa at a remarkable old home/restaurant/vineyard with more tastings. Thank you, Jorge!

It is definitely better to get a private tour to Duoro Valley. I tried the group tour but this was way better. We had a private wine tasting, our guide Jorge was accommodating and very informative. Wonderful experience!

Our driver/ guide was easy to find and waiting for us. Our day was absolutely perfect seeing the valley from the boat trip was amazing. We then went to a couple of wineries with the second one serving our lunch under some gorgeous trees. We went to the cellars and tasted some wonderful port wines.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a must do excursion in Lisbon .

What a Gorgeous very full day (private shore excursion) in Porto. Jorge was a Wonderful guide and Great companion for my husband and I throughout the day, picking us up and dropping us off directly at our cruise ship in Perfect time. He drove us in comfort on a Beautiful ride though the mountains into the Douro Valley, giving us an overview of Portugal’s history and Porto’s place in it along the way. We arrived at our first stop on time to be dropped off for an hour-long cruise with an audio-guide on the incredibly scenic Douro River. Jorge was waiting for us at the end of the cruise to take us to a Charming, Cozy, family-owned Mateus and Sequeira winery for our own private and very extensive wine tasting experience. Our guide here was Lovely and Knowledgeable Francisca, grand-daughter of the founders, who treated us to a really nice plate of tapas along with 5 different Delectable pours of wine (white and red) and port (white, tawny, and ruby). All were Delicious, but the white and ruby ports were Amazing and we had to buy those to bring home with us. The last part of the tour took us to Casa Dos Barros, a Picturesque historic manor house overlooking Stunning surrounding vineyards, where we were treated to a Heavenly three course lunch with Fabulous wine and the Best dessert port ever. Jorge was Terrific company taking care of every detail, and he gave us a Phenomenal day from start to finish.

Absolutely wonderful, our driver Nuno,was excellent, very knowledgeable, funny, and an hour excellent tour guide. Both wineries were beautiful, with very knowledgeable, informative and entertaining hosts. Everything was private for the 2 of us and very personable. Boat ride was very nice, not tool long and with beautiful scenery.

Great day with Jorge! Enjoyed the boat ride, and 2 wine tastings. His sommelier knowledge was a plus. Lunch was a bit too much of a tourist trap but a beautiful location nonetheless.

Family of 7, we all enjoyed everything about the trip. The day was spectacular, the bus and boat rides gave a chance to see a lot of the Douro Vally. Our guide, Jorge, was terrific and very informative and obviously loves what he does. And all the folks involved with the two wineries were also very friendly and informative. We would do the trip again if the chance comes along. Most memorable was having lunch under the trees with a view of the valley.
