Great trip , totally recommend it.!!! Our driver Marco and guide Roberta made us feel at home. Roberta explained perfectly everything we asked and knew like the palm of her hand all of the region and processes.

If you get the driver option this tour is REALLY expensive. It was a smooth ride, and our driver was really good. But be prepared to only spend about 35 minutes at each factory. We spent just as long parked on the side of the road looking at the castle. your going to spend most of your time driving between each location, as they are not close together. You will not get a tasting at the Parma ham factory, which is disappointing. Also the Cheese factory we went to has a store, but doesn't ship. They honestly told us, it wasn't worth their bother. So you can't bring anything with you.
I am glad that we did the tour, I am just not sure we got our money's worth. The tour guy, while limited English was very good.
Also, if you don't like heights, this tour isn't for you. Both the parm ham factory we went to, and the lunch location were on the top of very high hills, that required driving up steep, one lane roads. It reminded me of tours we took in Almafi.

This tour was wonderful...so interesting.
Our tour guide, Amalda, was amazing. She is a lovely girl, so knowledgable about the areas visited.
We learned so much. Highly recommended.

Great tour of Parma - the Parmagianno Regianno processing plant was a great, authentic experience. The guide Claudia was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour of the Prosciutto di Parma plant was also a great experience. The food a the winery was really tasty. The tour of the winery was short, but there was not much to see anyway.
We also took the optional Balsamic Vinegar tour. Not in Modena, but nearby. The hostess/owner was great and we learned a lot. Tasty vinegar too!
The driver from Milan did not speak English, so it was a quiet ride. Overall, a great experience!
