This was an enjoyable and informative experience. Matteo was excellent explained a complex process in easy to understand words. Both sites were well organized and we enjoyed meeeting the owners of the facilities. Enjoyed the tasting and wine and appreciated how Claudio at the Proscuito site made sure we all had enough

Walking through 100s of curing hams was intense. Viewing the entire valley marking the DOP was impressive. Tasting the product-delicious!

Our guide, Mattia, did a great job! We were loaded with questions and he was very able to answer them, provide background information, and even give insights on why certain processes were done the way they were. We were amazed by the amount of work and the number of hams ‘hanging.’ A very eye opening and informative experience. On very small negative - it would have been nice to see the factory working, but we arrived during their lunch and missed the action. Dang! Nevertheless, it did not take away from a great day! Thank you, Mattia!

Boeking werd lang geleden reeds bevestigd op de gevraagde datum, op het gekozen uur en in de gekozen taal. Toen ik enkele dagen vooraf Viator contacteerde voor duidelijkere info over het vertrekpunt ( Waar precies in Parma vertrekken we ?) , kon het ineens niet meer in de gevraagde taal en op het gevraagde uur. Het bezoek werd dan maar gecanceld. Jammer !!!!Terugbetaling van de kosten werd ons beloofd. We zijn benieuwd! De communicatie verliep ook steeds ih engels terwijl de voucher die we ontvingen in het NL was en het tel.nr dat ik ingaf ergens in Amsterdam ???????
