great intro to an amazing place
no way to cover the museum in a single day but this was a great intro & "scratching at the surface"
our guide was beyond knowledgeable and gave great intro of the history of building/location/origins
if truly want to take it all in, you'll probably need a few days but perfect for the novice art history lover

Sandra was our tour guide and extremely knowledgeable having studied European history in Spain and Italy. She was engaging, passionate, entertaining, knowledgeable, polite and professional. She gave us stories behind the paintings and the sculptures as well as the construction of the Louvre itself. A wealth of knowledge while simultaneously entertaining. Highly recommend! The best.

This was a great way to see the Louvre and hit the highlights. My husband and I were traveling, had a quick stop in Paris and wanted to see the Louvre, as we had never been. This tour popped up on Viator with an opening time that worked for us. Our group only had about 12 people in it and the headset made it pretty easy to hear the tour guide. The museum was so crowded because it was Monday and apparently all other museums were closed, so maybe don't pick Monday if you have the choice. Sandra was our tour guide and she had an excellent fund of knowledge and kept up with our group, explained the history of the museum, and was overall just great! After 2 hours, I was beat, so was glad that was the time limit of the tour. There is so much to see but this was worth the time and money.
