Tour guide was very knowledgeable of Paris since he grew up there. We got to the summit in 15 minutes with no lines and after taking pictures it rained and then we went to 2nd floor and the rain stopped. Lucky timing and we were the only 2 on the tour.

The organization of the tour was the worst I have ever experienced. I travel a lot and I use this platform all over the world. This is my first time complaining, but I would like to warn people, who are searching for the best way experience the Eiffel Tower. Go on your own tour , just buy tickets to the top in advance, don’t pay a lot of money to a person who doesn’t care and gets annoyed by the tourists.
The whole experience started with zero communication from the company and the guide, he hasn’t even tried to contact us in advance, or even an hour prior ; I wasn’t given any contact information, neither his name or description. I was suppose to be able to find a person I have never met on my own. The private tour option that I paid for didn’t include any extra communication , or even the basic details such as the name and the place of meeting.
At last, when I finally reached out to the company’s representative- I got very unprofessional and rude response; the same was the tour guide, who was not accommodating and seemed to be bothered by the question and my request to have his contact information, and the fact that we couldn’t find him. He lied and said he tried calling us, but couldn’t reach out, even though, I had perfect connection and no missed calls. The same did the company’s customer service team member. The tour guide whose name is Bayo yelled at me on the phone and told me to come within two minutes otherwise the entire experience will be cancelled. The total price for the tour was almost 700$ for the four of us, and I didn’t even get my tickets to go to the Eiffel Tower when I refused to be accompanied by Bayo. Truly the most disappointing, disorganized and pathetic service ever provided by this company.

For the 1:15 tour of the Eiffel Tower, we asked you, as we do all our guests, to arrive fifteen minutes early, thus at 1:00, in order to avoid any mishap. Your guide is designated by his orange lanyard and a flag, and your voucher explains this clearly, as well as the meet up point.
Quite to the contrary of zero communication we spoke with you several times.
Our call log records us as having reached you just before 1:20 (thus a delay of 20 minutes from time of meeting) when you said you would need ten more minutes. As we do care very much for our guests, and your party was alone on the tour, we made this exception and waited for you. We called again before 1:25 and our attempt went to your voicemail. At 1:30 you were still not present. We left another voicemail just thereafter. We were then at 35 minutes after meeting time. And yet, out of an abundance of concern we waited yet another ten minutes before the guide gave up, with permission, and left, since our slot had been cancelled
As for your tickets, had you arrived at any point at this time 1) they were expired 2) they are only valid with the accompanying guide 3) you never showed up. 4) buying tickets in advance is almost impossible for individuals, hence the service of skipping the line that we as your tour operator provide.
Yet our organization, professionalism, and our care for our visitors are all points of honor with us. We would never yell at any guest and hope for the same courtesy in return. We are also proud of the exemplary work of Bayo both in his patience in waiting and the glowing reviews his tours receive, his presentation of the Eiffel Tower being foremost among them.
While we regret having missed you for the tour, Memories wishes you a wonderful stay in our lovely city for the rest of the time you are here.

Today my husband and I did the Eiffel Tower Summit Tour with Rafael. It was fabulous. Rafael was very knowledgeable and overall a wonderful person. It was freezing up at the top of the Tower and he gave me his coat when he saw I was cold. My husband and I went to the wrong location for the start of the tour. Rafaels team called my cell phone to determine where we were and how to get us with the group. Overall we had a great time and we highly recommend this tour and Rafael as your guide. We chose this tour as we just wanted to show up and learn about the Eiffel Tower. Remi provided us with very interesting stories and iPad pictures to enhance our knowledge of the Eiffel Tower. We spent about 90 mins w Remi then he turned us loose on the top deck to take in the sights and leave when we were ready. There is a Champange bar at the top w (very pricey but nice) Champange and caviar (not included in this particular tour). We would recommend this tour

Eiffel Tower experience was ok. We still had to wait in long lines to get up to the top of the tower. Guide left us as soon as we got on the elevator.

We do of course book far in advance to get the pre-reserved lifts and navigate any lines from the ground up to the 2d floor -- and goodness knows there are crowds. The second floor is the ideal vantage point that we at Memories use to point out all the landmarks and set them into the context of Paris history and urbanism, and where the thick of the tour takes place. From the 2d floor, there are no reserved lifts or special access for anyone at all, prince or pauper, love or money, everyone is in the same boat. On an overwhelmingly busy day the guide might make the considered decision to allow you to enjoy the summit in your own way at your own pace- you’ll have seen how little room there is up there to be able to even stop and gaze, much less to point things out and talk about them. We do hope that part of your tour opened up new perspectives on Paris for you and made the rest of your time in our magnificent city just that much better. Thank you again.

Tour guide was a no show. Claims today that they were there. We waited an hour in the rain at the appointed spot for the guide?

We are very sorry to read your comments. I have identifed your booking and can see that you did not meet the guide for your tour. She was at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour departure time and messaged us at the time the tour was due to start to say that you were not with her, that she had all the other guests and was starting the tour. We have pre-reserved timed entry tickets and so we have to enter the tower on time.
We are very sorry that you missed your tour. Our guides are clearly identified as described on your voucher, with a large orange badge around their neck on an orange lanyard. They do a thorough check before leaving to ensure that any missing guests are not nearby. Our customer service team is always on hand to help, please don't hesitate to call us on the number on your voucher so we can assist you in finding your guide.
I would like to reassure any future guests that we never have guides not showing up for our tours. We work hard to ensure that our guests have the best experience possible with us and we are in constant touch with the guides as they greet the guests and start their tours. We have never had a guide not turn up for a tour and we are very sorry to read that you do not believe that the guide and the other guests were there - everyone else booked on your tour found her without any difficulty. We can only assume that you were unfortunately not in the right place.

Finding the guide was not as easy due to scheduling through Viator and another agency person is present. Easy entry with the guide and tour of the second level was great. I would have liked the guide to give more information about the tower.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you had trouble finding your guide. We are the local operator in Paris that runs this tour, Viator are a selling platform but it’s not actually Viator who runs the tours. This can be confusing and it’s not always easy to find the name of the local operator on their pages! For this reason we put on our vouchers very specific information about how to get to the meeting point and what to look for when you get there. Our guides wear large orange badges on an orange lanyard and we indicate this on the voucher so you know who to look for. We do our utmost to keep lines of communication open, asking our guests to be present 15 minutes before the start of the tour so that if there are any setbacks we can call you to help. We are however, glad we could get you through the entry with ease. We do try to give all the information we can within the framework of the time allotted. I set up this tour for 1:00 p.m. I thought that was Paris time. However, on the day of the tour, we went to our meeting point and there was no guide to be found. Fortunately, the lines were fairly short for the Eiffel Tower summit and we were able to complete our visit on our own. Later that day, I received a reminder about my tour. In the email, I noticed it was for 1:00 p.m. New York time which is 7:00 pm Paris time. Why would a company do that?

We are very sorry to read your comments, and very confused by them. We set all our tours up in local Paris time, this is the only time zone that we use as of course it's the time zone that we live in and operate our tours in. We never change this, I can only assume that this is perhaps something that happed on Viator (we are the local operator in Paris), although I can't see why it should have happened on Viator for any reason either. Also, we don't run tours at 7pm in the evening so that is very confusing too.

It was a great ride to the summit. I thought the weather put a damper on the second level.
Guide was not easy to find and we had to call the company twice to locate our guide. The company said the guide would have an orange hat, no orange hat. She had a small placard around her neck, hard to spot her.

Got to skip the line! Airline and Uber got us to front door at 13:28pm. Spoke with tour guide to update. Reported she could not wait even though the meeting place was 13:15pm on the bridge and it took 10-15 minute walk to get to front gate. But, tickets were emailed and we self guided ourself to all 3 levels by elevator. It was crowded and flow was congested. The champagne at the top is not included in this tour cost. It costs $25-$28 for a glass/plastic flute. Bonus to skip long line-30 minute wait still but avoided 1 and 1.2 hour line. Elevator/lift is only way to go because stairs would have been painful! Nice tickets emailed and this prevented another line of waiting. Beware lots of people trying to sell you stuff all over outside the tour gates! Souvenir tourist trap

Thank you for your review, although we are very sorry to read that you missed your tour. We do book our entry tickets several months in advance and they are timed entry tickets, this is what allows us to have faster access to the tower and they are strict about enforcing the visit times, as visitor numbers on the tower need to be controlled. So we have to enter on time and are unable to wait for late arrivals. We do try andmake this clear on the booking pages to avoid any disappointment on the day.
However we are very glad that you were able to access the tower and that you enjoyed your visit. Our tour is not advertised as a champagne tour as we do not include it, you can as you say buy a glass at the summit if you wish.

Our guide, Rémi (yes, like the gourmet mouse/chef in Disney’s Ratatouille) was wonderfully entertaining and knowledgeable. Charisma goes a long way towards cooking up a delightful visit.
For example, he memorably told us how the tower is continually being repainted, and even warned us about the possibility of paint dripping down from above. A little later, when we reached the second floor, we were rewarded by the extraordinary sight of four of those same painters, in harness and helmet, casually clambering about in front of us, but on the OTHER side of the barriers, calmly chatting and moving around the structure with dripping brushes & buckets of paint, as if they belonged to some strange tribe whose world we were privileged to visit. A sight we will never forget.
Our guide pointed out the sights on the tower as well as on the ground below, and although the tower is perpetually crowded, we had a lovely visit.
The only down note was the that the third level, at the top of the tower, was closed for “technical” reasons, which is apparently not that rare. While the tower represents the pinnacle of 19th century engineering, the French government will have to develop a long term, comprehensive plan for maintaining it for the remainder of this century.
Overall, a five star experience, and we even got a partial refund because of those aforementioned “technical” difficulties.

Takes way to long with all the lines to go to the top. Give yourself about 5-6 hours by the time you’re done.

We are sorry to read your review and learn that you were disappointed with the wait times on the day of your visit. We have identified your booking and spoken to your guide, who tells us that the wait times for the second floor elevator were normal on that day. We prebook timed entrance tickets and our guides are there to facilitate your visit to ensure you get up the tower as quickly and easily as possible.
Of course the Eiffel Tower is an extremely popular monument, and it can get crowded. The security checks are obligatory, and again our guides will help you through them as quickly and smoothly as possible.
On occasions the management of the tower will need to shut down one of the elevators, for technical, staffing or weather related reasons. Our guide tells us that on the day of your visit there was only 1 elevator running to the summit (all visitors need to exit the elevator at the 2nd floor and take a different elevator to the summit). There are no timed entry tickets for the summit available to any visitors, and so this line is one that nobody can skip. We are sorry that the reduced elevator capacity on that day caused longer wait times. Our guides do all they can to ensure you have the best experience possible on the tower, and this includes helping you through those lines as best they can.
We would like to reassure guests that they do not need 5-6 hours to visit the Eiffel Tower! Of course it depends on how long you decide to spend on each floor - there is a lot to see and do and you can easily spend several hours there if you want to. Technical hiccups do happen on this very historical monument, but our team are there to help you have the best experience possible whatever the weather and despite the lines!

We are very sorry to read that you missed your tour. We have both the guide and a coordinator at the meeting point. The coordinator is wearing a bright orange cap and an orange badge on an orange lanyard, they arrive 30 minutes before the tour departure time and leave 15 minutes after the guide has left with the group. The groups are always full so they are very visible at the meeting point. We do also call all late arrivals to see if they need any help finding the group and our number is on the voucher in case you need to call us.
The Eiffel Tower are very strict about the entry tickets. All the guests have to enter on time at our pre-booked entry time, and together with the guide. They will not refund for late arrivals or missed tours, and so those places on the tour are lost to us. We do indicate this clearly on the page when you are choosing the tour, to ensure you are made aware of the entry conditions.
Once again we are sorry you missed the tour. We hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you on future visits.

We did not receive the priority access we paid for. We spent more time standing in line and we spent actually in the Eiffel tower. The tour guide was delightful but had technical issues with the radio communication system.

There is of course a security perimeter around the tower and security checks in place, which we have to go through as so all other visitors. The tower is one of the most visited monuments in Paris, and on very busy days there can be lines. Our guides are there not only to tell you the history of the tower and show you the sights of Paris, but to help you navigate the various lines and checks as quickly and smoothly as possible so that your visit is relaxing and fun. The guide was amazing, but unfortunately the summit was closed and they didn’t notify us in advance, even though they were aware it was closed. In addition they said they’d provide some of the money back, but it was only 1/5 of the ticket cost per person. It should have been 1/2 since half of the tour wasn’t even available.

The Eiffel Tower does sometimes close the summit due to technical or staffing reasons. We are never notified of this in advance, and find out only when we arrive at the tower for our tour entry time. Every year in January the summit is closed as they are repairing the elevator, we do know about that in advance and we do not run our tour during that period.
When the summit closes our guide ensures that they do the whole tour all the same so you do not miss any of the guiding or information about the tower and the city. It is much better to point out the monuments in Paris from the 2nd floor as you can see them much more clearly and this is what our guides do even when the summit is open.
The Eiffel Tower refunds us the difference in the ticket price between the 2nd floor and the summit, and we pass 100% of this refund on to you. We do understand your disappointment at not being able to access the summit, but in terms of the guided tour you did receive the full duration of the tour time with our guide, and the reserved access tickets to the second floor. We refund the summit ticket for the part of the tour that you missed.
We hope that you had an enjoyable stay in Paris and that we may get the opportunity to take you to the top of the tower should you return in future.
