Our tour with Elisabeth was full of very interesting history about Notre Dame’s exterior. Without Elisabeth knowledge we would have missed so much.
One disappointment was not getting to the crypts which I had booked. Instead we went to Sainte Chappell. It was very beautiful and interesting though. We were a group of 5 and 3 did not book the crypts.

We didn’t realize the cathedral was free to enter. I thought I was booking a guide to educate us inside the cathedral. The guide does not come inside with you, and you have to stand in line to enter.
I will say this, my husband and I both agree our guide was very educated with Norte Dame facts. We are happy we spent a little time with her, but we bailed out to go inside the cathedral.

This was a really nice tour. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and learning a little bit about the various sites and the exterior of Notre Dame. We also got entry to the crypt and learned a little bit about the ancient history of the area. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in French history. Yussef did a great job in engaging our children, ranging in age from 10 to 17. They also gave him top marks!

Perkins was an excellent tour guide! We learned a lot about the history and architecture of Notre Dame before seeing the interior the following day. The introduction was well worth the time and money.

Standing in front of the iconic cathedral, we were awestruck. The twin towers rise above the Seine, the intricate stonework - and those gnarly gargoyles are mesmerizing. You can't help but gaze up at the massive rose window, even from outside, imagining the kaleidoscope of colors it must cast inside. Notre Dame isn't just a pretty face; it's also steeped in history - Napoleon crowned himself emperor here, and it inspired Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. We were kinda bummed we didn't bump into the Hunchback himself.

A lot of standing. Unless you want to look at pictures, this isn’t a good tour. You can go into crypt on your own since there’s no guide. The tour guide’s approach was not for me or my husband and we both thought it was the worst tour we went on in the 2 weeks there.

Sz was a great guide. He put in excellent effort and knowledge. I initially thought it was an expensive walk around but was pleasantly surprised.
He included great information on both Notra Dame and the surrounds. Was happy it was not a basic regutgitation of google.
It was an enjoyable tour.

Although the inside visit of Notre Dame is free, a guide to share the history as we walked the exterior was wonderful! Plus, we went across Love Locks bridge which was fun!

Tour was good the only thing bad about it was that it was raining and cold. Nick our guide was great he was on time and very informative about Notre Dame. The crypt was very interesting glad I got to see it.
