Itinerary
Meet your local guide at a prearranged meeting point a few minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the start of the commentary about the famous landmark's history.
As you approach the tower, you'll proceed by elevator directly to the second level. Look around the second floor, which includes panoramic maps of Paris and a 1/50th scale model of the tower's original architecture. Enjoy views of famous landmarks like Les Invalides, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, and Notre Dame as you listen to your guide's engaging commentary.
Once your guided tour has concluded, you may continue to explore on your own. If you have booked the upgraded option that includs summit access, you can use the second elevator for access to the Eiffel Tower's summit, where you can get fantastic views from 1,063 feet (324 meters) up and purchase a glass of bubbly from the Champagne bar (own expense).

This was a fraud, there was no one at the meeting point, no one knew anything about it. It was a few of us waiting with no instructions, you guys are terrible, not willing to help your tourists.

Make sure you know exactly where you are going because you will not be connected to the tour operator at the Eiffel Tower. The cab dropped us off at the front (supposedly he had to drop us there), I told him that we were to meet the tour guide on the side and not at the Eiffel Tower, showing him the address in our phone. We used our GPS to try to find our way to the exact location, but it was not accurate. We were there 30 minutes ahead of time and when I called to try to get accurate information, I was told that she could only relay information to the tour guide that we would be late, but she could not have the tour guide contact me via messaging or a call. I was quite upset as I have used Viator many times and have received messages from the tour guide guides checking to see if I had any questions. It turned out that we were only a couple of minutes away from the meeting site. If the agent on the phone would have simply asked the tour guide to contact me I’m sure he or she could have provided directions that we could follow as we were at the back of the Eiffel Tower.
I had previously missed a tour in Zürich due to a flight delay, but the tour guide messaged me and offered a boat ride for compensation. Why the agent on the phone could not have asked the tour guide to contact me is ridiculous. She said that it was against company policy, obviously the policy must’ve been different in France than in the US or Zürich.

We were very lucky as we effectively had a private tour for the four of us. Heloise our tour guide was so very friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable about Paris. Don’t waste your money. No reply to messaging from myself or Viator. Does not answer phone calls and can’t leave a message. Recorded announcement in French. Did not appear at location.

Wonderful tour really made special by the guide. I'm embarrassed to say I don't recall his name but he was a young Vietnamese-American gentleman. He did a supurb job.

The views from the Eiffel Tower were amazing. We booked very last minute and this was our only option to go to the summit. I think if you can book in advance a tour is not needed, but for last minute options this is a good one. Overall, our experience was average and next time I don’t think a tour was needed.

We were so happy with our tour guide Clair. She speaks six different languages. We also were glad we went all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower. The view was amazing. I took my daughter and two granddaughters on a trip to Paris. The Eiffel Tower is a must see! On another night we watched the lights on the tower. We stayed watching until 11:00 pm when it finally got dark. A beautiful sight.

Our tour was canceled due to extreme heat, but aviator was great in communicating the and the refund. We had to call for the refund but the operator, Dee, was polite and helpful.

Absolute zero compassion and understanding when due to traffic we were late to get vouchers. 15 minutes should not effect your! I’ve used Viator extensively and have two more tours with them in the next few weeks. But I’m not happy about it!

Not sure if our guide called in sick, but we were were pushed back 30 minutes to join another group. This delayed us and made the group over 20 people. We had done this tour 2 years ago and is was an amazing experience, this time it was just ok. Too many people and very little about the person who actually built the Eiffel Tower, which we thought was an incredible story our first time. Eiffel Tower is an incredible experience all by itself. With a guide we want to learn about it and that part could have been better as we had experienced before.

We arrived five minutes late and the tour guide told us they had to leave and we only had vouchers. This was upsetting because we had issues at our hotel and there was a lot of traffic. Very disappointed. Money wastes

A lovely tour and a knowledgeable guide. Give yourself lots of time before your tour begins to find the office for the guide. A good idea to book in advance. Be prepared for lineups and lots of people.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY OR VIATOR.
I am genuinely appalled by the treatment my family received. In 2026, no customer should be left questioning whether they have been treated differently because of their race, yet that is exactly how this experience made us feel.
I booked this tour as a surprise for my mother's 65th birthday, flying her in from Canada specifically for the occasion. We arrived at the meeting location at approximately 18:10 for an 18:30 tour. When no guide or group was visible, I contacted the company at 18:28 to ask where we should be.
To my astonishment, I was informed that the tour guide had already left. We were then told that the guide had departed from behind a store—information that was never disclosed during the booking process, nor communicated to us by message, email, or telephone.
During the call, we were asked to describe ourselves, including what we were wearing and our skin colour. After providing that information, the representative muttered something in French before abruptly stating that nothing could be done because the tour had already departed. The conversation was then ended by the representative, Vanessa, who hung up rather than attempting to assist or offer any solution.
What should have been a memorable birthday experience turned into a deeply upsetting and humiliating ordeal. We paid £221 for this tour and received not only no service, but also a complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, or customer care.
Equally disappointing was Viator's response. Despite booking through their platform, they offered little meaningful assistance and appeared entirely indifferent to the situation.
Customers deserve transparency, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, neither this tour company nor Viator delivered any of those things. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking.
