Itinerary
Meet your local guide at a prearranged meeting point a few minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the start of the commentary about the famous landmark's history.
As you approach the tower, you'll proceed by elevator directly to the second level. Look around the second floor, which includes panoramic maps of Paris and a 1/50th scale model of the tower's original architecture. Enjoy views of famous landmarks like Les Invalides, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, and Notre Dame as you listen to your guide's engaging commentary.
Once your guided tour has concluded, you may continue to explore on your own. If you have booked the upgraded option that includs summit access, you can use the second elevator for access to the Eiffel Tower's summit, where you can get fantastic views from 1,063 feet (324 meters) up and purchase a glass of bubbly from the Champagne bar (own expense).

These people stole my money, no ticket and no refund.
They told me to go to the front desk and pay for another ticket which I did. They said call viator and get a refund. When I did viator said the tour operator refused my refund! Made me pay twice for the Eiffel Tower tickets !

Buyer Beware! I book 4 tickets on April 1 at 8pm (Effiel Tower access tour to 2nd Flr with Summit option by lift). We paid $280 Euro! This vendor expects you to meet at a location away from ticket area to get your vouchers and meet with tour operator. This location is difficult to locate especially when we are coming from Canada and clearly have no idea of the location in Paris. We tried GPS but could not make it to our tickets on time therefore losing the chance of a lifetime with our 2 small children to attend the Effiel Tower. Also, tried calling phone number they provided but we could not get a hold of anybody! Viator would not refund our tickets or consider giving us tickets for another time. Also, would not even provide a partial refund! Our family is very disappointed and this was suppose to be a once in a lifetime event for us but turned out to be a disaster with a huge expense. The Eiffel Tower ticket coordinator told us to never go with Viator as they give meeting points to get tickets but never show up! This has happened to lots of people who try to get tickets through Viator. When buying tickets online, go directly through Paris tickets and don’t get scammed!

This was not a tour at all. Our guide walked us from the meeting location to the Eiffel Tower. He spoke for less than five minutes about a few facts, walked us to the line for the 2nd floor and left. We were able to get summit access but paid 9x as much as the regular price and received no historical information, and no assistance navigating the tower after the initial entry. I would recommend looking elsewhere. Interestingly we were near another group who our tour guide referred to as "my colleague" who did go up with her group. Ours spent maximum 15min with us.

The tour guide (Ivan) encouraged guests to go off on their own and not follow his tour. The tour was unorganized with little valuable information. The tour guide spent most of his time dedicated to answering one woman's questions while neglecting the others who ultimately left the tour. Finally, even though you pay extra for access to the summit, if it is windy during your visit, it will be closed and Viator does not refund the difference.

We waited at our assigned spot for 30 minutes and no guided ever came. Called the number and company thought they might be late but didn’t know. Finally just went on our own, purchased tickets again and went on our own!

Tour guide for Eiffel Tower tour didn’t show up. It was a freezing day. I called visitor and they said ‘wait for him’’. So, like dopes we waited longer and finally gave up and bought new tickets for the Tower. And of course there are no refunds with Viator. Not for this tour or the mistake we make on the same tour when we booked it in error four days earlier and then changed booking to today. I’ve used them in the past and have had problems but that’s it. I’ve learned my lesson.

Never trust this company again! Horrible!! No one was at the pick up site. No one would answer my messages about my issue!! Completely missed out on going to the top of the Eiffel Tower!! This is my first time in Paris and I’m not happy with this company.

When we booked our trip to Paris, the first place everyone wants to visit is the Eiffel Tower. We tried to book tickets through the official website but couldn’t find any available, which was a bit disappointing. My wife then found tickets through Viator, and we’re really glad we booked with them. It was a little more expensive than the official website, but definitely worth it. The guide was amazing and shared great stories about the tower, explaining its history, how it was built, and much more. It was also during the Olympic games and lots of road closure.

Stole my money did not refund my money.
Went for a tour but due to a national strike did not occur. Been fighting for my refund since October 2025. Save yourself the hassle never book with them.
