Was truly an amazing experience. We booked the one with the very top access and it was so beautiful at the top. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Just the right amount of history and information about the Tower combined with the time to explore on our own. Paul was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. This was the better route to go instead of booking tickets through the Tower. Definitely recommend.
The guide of the group I was in was very nice and knowledgeable, but on the first level up, I somehow got separated from the guide and the rest of the group I was in, so I finally decided to take the elevator all the way up to the top summit (which my ticket included) by myself, and explore beautiful Paris on my own. Thankfully I know Paris well enough from many previous trips to the city that I was able to pick out most of the landmark buildings below. The only buildings I was unable to find amongst Paris’ huge and very spread out circumference were the petit and grande palais buildings! But I loved my trip to the top summit, and spent enough time up in “heaven” to have had a great time.
Curiously, when I finally got back down to the ground, I walked back over to Rue Bourdonnais, and who did I see standing in front of number 19? None other than Luna, the guide I had inadvertently separated from during the tour. She and I spoke, and she told me that she had been concerned/confused when I had become “lost” from the rest of the group. So I was very pleased to run into her on Rue Bourdonnais after the tour.
In no way do I blame Luna for my having become separated from the group, since there were a million people visiting the Eiffel Tower that day (like every day, I suppose).
What a beautiful experience to watch the Paris from Summit and know each and every detail of Eiffel Tower.
The host Ms Clair was excellent and very attentive.
This was amazing, our tour guide Paul made all the difference. He was personable and knew a lot and gave us such good detail. It was such a lovely evening I'd recommend doing it at night!
Excellent! Our guide studied French history and was very knowledgeable about the tower and Paris generally!
Can be quite busy at the top but well worth it for the views. The guide (Montana) was very good and informative
Fantastic structure. Weather was awful—raining and windy—until a rainbow came out ! Still so windy that the upper deck remained closed.
When we went to the Eiffel Tower tour for our experience the wind was blowing extremely hard and we were unable to summit. Viator refunded us $10 a person per direction of tour company , initially we could’ve bought the second level access without Summit from this company for 173.00 which is $100 difference this really feels like bait and switch and I don’t feel they are appropriate with refunds .I paid for a certain tour and the step down tour is exactly what I got but they will not honnor the same price . I would recommend going with a different tour company and a different guide company. As the tour company had the exact same tour for $100 less for three people, but they wanna only refund me partially $10 a person .ridiculous..
Know show from the tour guide. A group of 20 of us were standing around waiting. We finally got a hold of someone and was told it was cancelled, but no one was notified.
Tina was great and shared both knowledge and kindness. Even my kids (who speak little English) we’re invested in this tour.
Guide was ok very hard to hear him over the crowd so was not worth the extra cost so better just going up with your guide book
Impossible to get pictures. Guide extremely knowledgeable about Tower history. Careful we could hear and see the tour.
The tour guide is the only reason I’m giving it three stars. She had great information but since there was no type of listening device like I’ve been given on every single tour I’ve ever been on it was impossible to hear her. She really tried to be loud enough but when there’s tons of people making noise it was pointless to even try to listen so I just did my own thing and many others seem to do the same. I’ll say it again, this was no fault of the guide.
Personally I would not take this tour unless they make upgrades to include listening devices. I paid for a tour and all I got was my ticket handed to me. I could have done that on my own and not paid the extra money for the tour guide.
Claire was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable! The views from the summit were stunning! Would highly recommend!
Tour guide was great, really enjoyed the experience. We were very well looked after and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and fun.
Excellent tour! Easy meet up near tower Tour guide… forgot his name sorry was knowledge and great having the earbuds in with microphone. Highly recommend!!
This was a very nice way to experience the Eiffel Tower with a guide that could share her knowledge of the Towers history and surrounding area. I recommend this for a first time visit to the Tower.
Guide - Tina was excellent and the whole experience was fantastic. The only criticism I would have is that it felt rather strange to be asked to meet at a random address outside a gift shop. I did at one point begin to think that it was all a scam, that nobody would show up, but they did!!! Also, please make it clear that this tour includes access to the top - rather than saying ‘optional summit access’ which could leave some thinking that there is more to pay for the ‘optional’ bit.
We were ON TIME for the tour. They left early and left us and five other people who were 2 minutes behind us. Policy says no refund - they wiped us all out for our $100 fee each - and nothing to show. No call no text. No attempt to assist. Absolutely ridiculous and contrived to leave a few minutes early. Do not book this tour. Total rip off. And we have typically had good experiences with Viator. This one was a total joke. We missed the opportunity to see the tower on our trip to Paris. Had to leave the next day. Total crap.
Our guide clair was amazing Her level of knowledge and history was very interesting.
I would highly recommend the tour with clair
Luna was the best tour guide ever! She was patient and knowledgeable. Was great with kids. She is passionate about doing a good job.
We booked our time based on limited arrival information from cruise ship. Once we boarded the cruise ship and found out we would be arriving in Paris later than expected, we immediately reached out to try and move our time and we’re declined immediately so we lost out on $260 with no way to recoup that money and ended up having to buy new tickets at the Eiffel Tower posts were super slow to respond and unwilling to accommodate at all.
Great experience. Our guide Ivan was great. Very helpful in guiding us. He showed areas in Paris and helpful. We loved it and long lines for lifts.
Our tour guide was very good. Once everyone was there, off we went! He shared great information and kept the group together!
It was useful to have shorter line access to the Eiffel Tower. Our guide did not add much value as he spoke softly and just held up photos on his phone as he described certain things. The most frustrating thing was to actually find the guide at the address provided on the app. He was a young man standing in the sidewalk in front of a store with a phone in his hand just like everyone else. He didn’t display a sign or some kind of placard to identify the location. We were actually standing right next to him looking around trying to find out if we were at the right location and didn’t even realize that we were at the correct location until a few other people showed up also looking around. We noticed him looking down at a clipboard so we asked him if he was from Viator. To me, this was not acceptable. We were traveling on a Viking pre-extension to our river cruise to Normandy and you can always find the agents because they are dressed in identifying clothing and hold up signs.
Rowland was very informative and professional. He was happy to answer all questions and was patient and friendly.
Excellent guide!!! He was enthusiastic and informative and energetic and responded to questions from everyone! Thanks for a great experience
Tina was an amazing guide. We were very short on time and her advice to manage our expierence was impeccable. With the time we had for the tour her knowledge and enthusiasm was fantastic.
Our tour guide spent very little time explaining anything. And when he did talk, it was only to the four or five people who were closest to him. The rest of the group couldn’t hear a thing. We heard more from the tour guide of another group!
We also spent an hour waiting to get in, in the blazing sun. This day was particularly hot in Paris, which is not your fault. But it didn’t help to make me enjoy the experience.
I was also using a cane to help me walk. And the security changed my access and did not allow me up to the summit. So I did not get part of the experience I thought I was paying for.
