This was a wonderful way to spend the day, thank you to both our guides and driver.
The tour of Versailles was wonderful, our guide was very knowledgeable and took time to let us see everything at our own pace. The grounds are extensive and the only drawback was there was little time to see it all ;)
Monets gardens were just beautiful and it is self directed so you can take as long as you like to meander through.
Thank you to the coordinator for assistance with pickup! You were very helpful and it was much appreciated!

The tour to Versailles and Giverny was awesome! The tour guides and the drivers were amazing. Fred, the driver to Giverny was outstanding. We would recommend this combined tour.

The pickup and travel experience were smooth, the van comfortable, and our drivers were friendly, informative, and helpful, plus it was good to see something outside of the central ring of arrondissements where we spent most of our time.
Versailles was crowded, by our guide Elise did a great job of keeping our small group together and out of the crush of humanity. Most importantly, her presentation added much depth and context to what we were seeing. I learned a lot and enjoyed the experience much more than I would have by just touring independently. She was a delight. The trip to Giverny was unguided, but the staff person who greeted us there and saw that we got back to our car at the end of the day was kind, helpful, and informative. My friends and I enjoyed the experience.

The Giverny half of the day (which was a self-tour) was great, but the Versailles trip was incredibly disorganized. After our driver picked everyone up, we had to make multiple stops so that our driver could pickup and assemble the ear pieces for all company tours scheduled for that time.
This resulted in sitting on the side of the road 10 minutes from Versailles for 30 minutes.
Once at Versailles, our driver indicated a different car would be picking us up, so nothing could be stored in the car.
The tour guide had difficulty answering questions about Versailles and was incredibly scattered. Her heavy accent also made it difficult to understand her through the ear pieces. She also wasn’t aware of who in the group was also booked for the Gardens, which caused even more confusion.
It started to rain as we left the Gardens, and once we found our new driver, he was more preoccupied in getting the ear pieces back rather than getting us out if the rain.
We wish we had just taken the metro and done a self-guided tour.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your day in Giverny and Versailles. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the self-guided tour of Giverny, but we are truly sorry that the Versailles part of the trip did not meet your expectations.
We would like to provide some important clarifications regarding the issues you mentioned:
🔹 Regarding the stop before arriving at Versailles:
When drivers arrive a little early, they are not allowed to stop near Versailles and must park a bit further away temporarily while waiting for the authorized drop-off time.
Minivans are not allowed to park near the Château de Versailles. If they do, a fine of 135 € is imposed on our company. Therefore, our drivers are only permitted to drop off passengers quickly and then leave immediately.
🔹 Regarding the guide:
We are surprised to hear your feedback as this guide is internationally renowned, having authored several books on French history and regularly collaborating with cultural institutions. It is possible that her French accent made understanding more challenging through the earphones, and we apologize for this. However, we always select guides with an accent that is understandable to most international visitors.
🔹 Regarding the vehicle change and the rain:
We fully understand your discomfort. The collection of the earphones at the end of the visit is essential, as some clients unfortunately do not return them, which complicates logistics for subsequent tours. This may have caused a slight delay in pick-up, and we regret that this exposed you to the rain.
Lastly, we understand you might have preferred to take the metro and tour on your own. However, it is important to note that it is very difficult to visit both Giverny and Versailles in one day without organized transport, due to the distance, schedules, and ticket coordination.
Thank you again for your feedback, which helps us continually improve our services. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for a smoother experience.
Best regards,

Oh my gosh, what an amazing place and Maria brought all of it alive and was able to clearly describe the times and the significance of both the monarchs and peasants perspectives changed over the years that lead to the revolution. It was truly enlightening. There were six of us on the tour and we were all glad we took it.

Our driver, Arjuna, was very courteous and obliging. He even let me move my seat so I could reach a charging port in the van as my phone battery was low because I took so many photos at Versailles. Our guide, Philip, was very knowledgeable and informative and did an excellent job of shepherding us through Versailles’ many rooms and the crowd of visitors. The gardens were very impressive, but it took so long to get through the line at the cafe that we didn’t have a chance to find the dancing fountains before we had to get back to the meeting point with Arjuna.
Giverny was unbelievably beautiful and Pascal, our guide was friendly and obviously very well acquainted with the layout of the house and gardens. I was a little surprised by the brief period of time he was with us, but the site was so jam packed with visitors that it’s probably best not to have any more time on the guided tour. Not everyone in my party could see the video that was shown in the van on the way to Giverny because the headrests blocked the viewing screen.
Overall, the tour was a great experience and an enjoyable way to see these two fascinating and historic places.

It was an enjoyable time, a great deal of walking with stairs. This tour is not for the faint of heart.

This was really the perfect itinerary, and the hotel pickup was great! Paris Webservices was so impressive jn their prompt, detailed and friendly communication, and their driver/guide Frederick was superb, as was dtriver Pasquale. So glad we chose this company/tour out of all the optioms - the customer service and experience was flawless!

The whole experience was first class. Everything was on time. Both drivers were very friendly and informative. The skip the line tickets were so worth the extra cost.

It was a very big day but with limited time in Paris allowed us to cover both Versailles and money’s garden in Giverny. Pick up and drop off though expensive was essential to us. Our driver Fred was excellent. Tour guide at Versailles was very knowledgeable and helpful
Liesl_M, Apr 2024
Our bus driver, Pascale, was amazing. He provided lots of local knowledge on our way to both locations and was such a lovely person. We would have gladly spent all day with him!
Ruth_B, Oct 2023
The day trip to Versailles and Giverny was everything we hoped it would be. Laura, the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Versailles history and had a lot of interesting facts that were shared. Frederick, our driver, was on time for both pickups and he was quite knowledgeable as well about both Versailles and Monet/Giverny. He was a wiz in handling the Paris traffic.
sandichaput, Jun 2023
The Versailles tour was great. The guide was wonderful. The Giverny tour was on our own which wasn’t described.
Rise_S, Jul 2022
Versailles was crowded as expected but your guide was very good. Monet’s garden was lovely.
Can driver Frederic very helpful.
Shelly_W, May 2022
Do not go on this half day tour of Versailles. First, the tour guide was late, then they grouped us with people on a longer tour of Versailles and the guide spent a half an hour in ONE room. We know because we timed it. We handed back our audios so we could move ahead and see more of the palace. So basically we didn't get an audio guided tour. The half day tour of Monet’s Garden was great.

Even in the pouring rain, this trip was fabulous. The van, which was full, was extremely comfortable and the driver was very friendly and helpful. We were dropped off at Versailles where we met our tour guide, Valerie, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was wonderful and I saw much, much more of Versailles than I had on a previous trip. We did not have to stand in the ridiculously long line to get in and Valerie paced herself so that we were never pushed or crowded in the rooms. We had lunch at restaurant across the street from the palace, which was included. We were given two choices. The food was excellent and included an entree, salad, drinks and dessert. We were picked up at the restaurant and driven to Giverny, and, again, in the pouring rain this place was magnificent. We had plenty of time to explore on our own. I highly recommend this tour. What a memorable, beautiful day!

Our Driver was late picking us up, although he was very nice. Then he was late picking us back up to take us to the next tour. The directions on the pick up point was awful on the second trip, I was ready to go back to room and call it a day. The visit to the Versailles was good
thecushionqueen7, Nov 2017
This was a very expensive tour!! I will admit it was nice to be picked up at our hotel instead of finding a meeting place in the big city of Paris. Our driver was very friendly and prompt. Meeting our tour guide at Versailles was easy and a very informative tour even though our daughter had many problems with her headphones. We had a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. Asked for some extra time so we could enjoy irhe meal. We called and the driver was accommodating and prompt. Time at the Palace was short and we really didn't have enough time to enjoy or view all of the gardens. Taking a little extra time for lunch meant that we got to Monets Garden a little late. Driver offered us extra time and said he would wait for us. Leaving Paris for the day was to go out into the country was a welcome change.
lcalhounsikora, Jul 2017
This was a great way to see two interesting locations while only missing one day in Paris. Paschal was a great driver/tour guide - full of interesting information. It was great to have skip the line access at Versailles and Giverny - this definitely gave us extra hours at each location especially Versailles which was packed. The van was very clean, comfortable and nicely air -conditioned.
Brenton D, Sep 2016
Unexpectedly we were the only two people on our trip to Giverny and Versailles. We were picked up in a plush vehicle at the time requested. Our Driver Pasquale was knowledgeable but respectful of our requirements. He dropped us of at the door and picked us back up at the door. Overall a very seamless days outing. All tickets provided and absolutely no hang ups. Fantastic.
Alexandra_G, Jul 2016
Too much time at Giverny and not enough time at Versailles, but still fantastic. Our driver Pascal was great!
