This was a terrific option to view Paris sites regardless what the weather is doing. We booked this tour while Paris is experiencing record high temperatures. Our driver was Sam, who was excellent! He took us to all the major sites and gave us the option to exit the vehicle to get some better photos all while remaining close so we could quickly return when the weather became unbearable. The company was also flexible allowing us to be picked up at CDG Airport which made our trip into the city center that much easier. I would recommend this option for anyone that wants a more personalized and comfortable experience. A final tip is to make sure you have WhatsApp installed using the same number you make the booking under as it makes communication with your driver seamless. 10/10 Experience!

Our driver, Mr. Earnest, arrived before our scheduled time and informed me by text of his arrival. He was neatly dressed, courteous, polite, knowledgeable, and stayed interactive throughout the tour. In all, it was a wonderful experience, with Earnest’s great sense of humor being the icing on the cake.

Earnest met us at the CDG airport, right out the door from baggage claim, and swept us away in a most comfortable van, with offers of water or to stop wherever we might like for refreshment. Once we reached the city, he navigated through the traffic expertly while pointing out the various sites and highlights. He took particular care to engage our 18 year old grandson, even taking him to several interesting hidden gems that would be of special interest to him. Earnest was personable, engaging, accommodating and most helpful. Even got us into the Sacre Coeur ahead of the long line. We so appreciated Viator accommodating our request for airport pickup followed by the city tour, then drop off at our hotel. A terrific value and experience.

This is not about the driver at all !
Viator's system is not great, even thought I share all information the itinerary didn't include everything. I had to review all with the other company all over. This was waste of time for sure.
The car was average, no water was offered. The driver didn't offer any routes.

Very nice guy and accommodating. Pick up at hotel. This is not a tour but more of a car ride. It would be great if you had someone with you to explain the sights and history, because this does not include history or information. Not a city tour.

This was the best way to see all of the sights on my list and I was able to get some great pictures of the Christmas lights around Paris! We have been to Paris several times, but being here at Christmas time was a special treat! This tour was a complete disaster and genuinely felt unsafe. The driver was confrontational with me and our licensed guide from the start. He refused to follow the itinerary, ignored instructions, and repeatedly left us waiting 30–40 minutes after each stop. Because of this, we only made it to two stops before we chose to end the tour early just to get away from him.
After the tour, things got even worse. The driver called me twice after 9:30 pm the same night. I only provided Viator with the screenshot of those calls, because that alone shows how inappropriate and unsettling this situation was. Late-night contact from a driver after a complaint is not normal and not safe.
When I reported the incident, Viator dismissed the safety concern and relied entirely on the operator’s denial. They claimed the tour was “fully completed,” even though that is not true. Their response showed no interest in reviewing the actual behavior of the driver or protecting customers.
This is not a company I trust with my safety or money.
Avoid this tour. There are plenty of reputable operators in Paris — this is not one of them.

This was exceptional -- our driver was very knowledgeable, very friendly and went out of his way to show us areas/highlights that we were interested in. I would highly recommend our driver -- but I can't spell his name! Perhaps Viator can help me with a reply.

Our driver was on time to pick us up at the train station. He was very knowledgeable about the streets of Paris. We were able to go to the places we wanted to go with ease. He made it a great experience for the short amount of time we had in Paris.

This is basically a car and driver..not at guide. They expect you to know where you want to go. Our driver was nice enough but offered no history. We spent most of our time sitting in traffic.

Positively, our guide was very kind and professional to/with us. He navigated through the city of Paris, taking us from place to place, with ease and I am very grateful I did not have to navigate through the Paris traffic myself. Negatively, our guide barely spoke English, which he mentioned when we first met. When I booked the “private tour of Paris” I imagined having the right amount of time, space, and undivided attention to facilitate good conversation about the city, perhaps even learning a few fun facts about Paris as we drove around. Unfortunately, besides the basic “this is this” and having assurances that we would meet up in the same location after we finished seeing the site we were dropped off at, we drove around in silence. The language barrier also led to a pretty significant misunderstanding that left us struggling to navigate our way back to our hotel at the end of our tour. All in all, it was an adventure, but if you are looking for a tour that will share the city with you, giving you information as you travel along, this is not the tour for you. If you simply want to be chauffeured from place to place to see the sites then this is a very professional company for that.

Our driver was prompt and on time. The car was clean and neat. And he went out of pace according to our schedule. This should not have been labeled as a tour. It was more of a driving experience without commentary. He did a great job of taking us to all of the major stops and stop the car so that we could, spend time at those places. There was no commentary. We did enjoy seeing the city and had a great day overall.

Our driver for this tour was Sam. He was beyond amazing!
We were so lucky to book this tour on January 1. Paris was definitely NOT BUSY. We had Paris all to ourselves for photos!
Sam was amazing especially because we requested a tour wherein we wouldn't walk too much. We wanted more of a sightseeing tour and just have photo opportunities. He toured us in Paris and didn't miss a single landmark.
We had SO MANY PHOTOS. We were able to see the whole of Paris in a very short time we have in the city.
It was definitely a VIP experience with the Mercedes-Benz Van.
