My reason for booking the tour was to avoid the long lines for entry. As it turned out, when I booked for Sunday morning there was no line. Communication was good, and no problems finding the meeting spot. Our guide , Rita was very knowledgeable and made the walking tour worth the expense. She’s a very charming guide.

This is a very informative tour and very engaging. Elizabeth is a friendly and knowledgeable host. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable. I learned a lot about Notre Dame that I did not know before. The tour is just the right amount of time to see the church and then learn some history. Highly recommend!

Elizabeth was an amazing tour guide. She explained the Notre Dame in a special way that really painted the picture of the history of this amazing church. I would recommend this tour, especially if you get Elizabeth as your guide!

The only reason i booked this tour was to get access to the cathedral. But as Anna K said in her Oct 25th review Notre Dame is FREE to enter. They simply had someone meet us who was not a “guide” who just walked us through the normal line (no special entry) with everyone else. There was no special entry. we could have done everything ourselves. Now once we did a self guided walk around inside the guide then met us outside for an outdoor tour. She was actually very good and knowledgeable. But to sell the tour as cathedral access plus a walking tour is a case of misselling. It was a walking tour alone. Just be aware before you buy the tickets.

We were given 45 minutes to walk through the interior of the cathedral. I liked that a lot. I had been to the cathedral several times before, but the renovated cathedral interior left me speechless.

I would have liked to have a better more informed guide. He talked about Jesus washing the LEGS of someone in a painting. It was a good way to get in, but that was about it.

It sounds like the guide's information might not have been entirely accurate. Jesus washing the feet of someone is a well-known biblical story, perhaps that was what was being referenced? Either way, sorry the experience wasn't up to par.

Notre Dame is FREE to enter. This is NOT a guided tour! The “guide” just walked us through the line (no special entry) which we could have done ourselves. She told us we had 45 minutes inside and to meet outside after that time for a walk around the outside of the cathedral. We did not even do that. This was $125. I requested a refund which was denied. I would NOT recommend.

I find it expensive since I thought I had to pay to go into the cathedral, but it turned out to be free, and there was a section in the cathedral where I had to pay extra to go in which I thought it was included with my whole tour. Besides that the tour guide was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge so we enjoyed that part and also she gave us a tour around outside the cathedral which was nice and gave us time to visit the cathedral inside by ourselves.

June was a wonderful tour guide. Very caring and friendly and gave us lots of information. We enjoyed learning more about the cathedral .be warned 45 mins of the tour is on your own in the cathedral and the remainder is the guide outside. We did enjoy it even though we felt maybe it was expensive considering we were on our own for that length on a tour.

Want to give travelers a heads up as I read the glowing reviews and wasn’t clear - the tour guide doesn’t come inside the cathedral with you and you also don’t have any skip the line access. We unfortunately waited over an hour on line to access the cathedral and went in alone. After that the tour was running so late we had a brief chat with June on the cathedral. She is great and super knowledgeable! Just want to give the heads up that if I were to do it again I’d just not do a tour at Notre Dame as the police are strict on tour guides!

June did a wonderful job leading the tour. We had time to ourselves to enjoy the cathedral and then she gave us detailed history and seeing the cathedral from various angles at the end.
