A beautiful historic site

We were picked up at our hotel by Antonino. The tour was self-directed and although we chose not to have an audio guide I would recommend doing so. There was a lot of uphill walking with uneven surfaces-this could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. We discovered there is no short exit route (at least that we could find) so be prepared to spend a minimum of 90 minutes. It is an amazing site with wonderful Greek ruins and temples. Antonino dropped us off at Al Porticcoio for a delish lunch break before we continued on to Scala dei Turchi. Two of our group walked down to the beach while the rest of us ate lemon gelato and took photos of this beautiful area. We were very happy with the tour and especially Antonino our driver who was superb navigating the traffic in Palermo
