Nice time spent in Osaka

Ideal places covered. We had Mito as a guide. She is a sweet girl and so helpful and patient. She took us to all the important spots and my son enjoyed the Japanese games she taught us. She will become an excellent guide with some more training as she is just a beginner- she wasn’t aware much about the place.

Yuta did a great job guiding me around Osaka castle and shinsekai market. He was super friendly and welcoming and had some really good food recommendations. He has some your options for other cities and will definitely be using him again when I come back.

Our Guide Yuta was very Kind, he had the best attitude and was ready to accommodate our requests to stop, look for food, etc. I did not like that I booked a private tour and the day before the tour operator send me the meeting instructions to join the rest of the participants. I had to write and after several emails they said sorry and honored the private part of the tour. I felt a more deep and informative tour would have been nice. If you are looking for a person that knows his way around the city, takes you straight to where you are going not wasting any time, helps you find the must go places and the best food, and also share local knowledge and country Information, this is the tour for you.

We enjoyed the evening bright lights and we passed by a subway supermarket that looked nice. The guide was kind but inexperienced. He didn’t give any details until we asked specifically but he did take us to a lot of places. We really enjoyed the little shrine with the very healthy cats. He took us on the subway and that was fantastic.

first step in Japan culture

Yuta was a perfect host, it was our first day in Japan and his tour, in addition to the stops provided in the description, provided us with lots of advice for our travel stay. The walk through the different neighborhoods was pleasant and Yuta told us about the history of the various monuments and gave us a truthful point of view on modern Japan. He also showed us some traditional Japanese games that he brought with him. The food stops are decent, perhaps a little too touristy for our approach but it is comfort food and a pleasant stop during the tour. I can only recommend Yuta if you want to immerse yourself in the real Osaka, moving from the historical part to the more modern one. This tour is worth every penny it costs.
