Tony was an excellent driver and guide of the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable of the area and its history. He took us to the most beautiful panoramic views and taught us so much of the area. He was so friendly and very accommodating and made sure that we got to do and see everything that was on the top of our list. I highly recommend Tony to tour the Amalfi Coast to make it a memorable experience.

This was hands down one of the worst tour experiences we have ever had, and the response from the tour operator afterward was almost as disappointing as the tour itself.
The company sent us out for a full-day tour of the Amalfi Coast in a vehicle that already had an oil-pressure problem before our tour even began. This was not something that suddenly developed halfway through the day. We saw the communication/photo our driver sent to the company regarding the warning from the beginning, yet the vehicle was still used to transport us.
The day then became a complete disaster.
We were involved in two accidents, experienced serious vehicle problems, and eventually broke down altogether. We spent an enormous amount of our vacation day waiting for transportation issues to be resolved instead of experiencing the Amalfi Coast. At one point, we were told another vehicle was coming, and we waited around an hour for it to arrive.
Because of everything that happened, the time we actually had at the destinations we paid to visit was drastically reduced. At some stops, we had approximately 30 minutes. This was supposed to be a memorable day exploring one of the most beautiful areas of Italy, not a day spent dealing with accidents, mechanical problems and waiting on replacement transportation.
What made the experience even more frustrating was the tour operator’s response afterward. Their attitude essentially amounted to: you technically made it to all of your scheduled stops.
That completely misses the point.
Driving someone to a destination for approximately 30 minutes so that the company can say the stop was technically completed is NOT the same thing as providing the tour that was purchased. We didn’t travel all the way to Italy simply to check destination names off a list.
And to dismiss the situation that way after sending guests out in a vehicle with an apparent known oil-pressure issue, followed by two accidents and a breakdown, is astonishing to me.
I want to make one thing very clear: our driver was extremely nice, and I do not want this review interpreted as an attack on him personally. He was dealing with an awful situation as well. My issue is with the company that was responsible for providing safe, reliable transportation and delivering the experience we paid for.
Things can go wrong while traveling. Vehicles can unexpectedly break down. Accidents can happen. But sending out a vehicle when there was already an indication of an oil-pressure problem is entirely different, and then responding to everything that followed with essentially “but you got to all your stops” showed very little concern for how severely our experience was affected.
We lost hours of a vacation day that we can never get back.
The Amalfi Coast was somewhere we were incredibly excited to experience. Instead, what we will remember most about this excursion is two accidents, a vehicle with an oil-pressure problem, a breakdown, waiting for another vehicle, rushed stops, and a tour operator who seemed more concerned with arguing that every stop technically occurred than acknowledging what their customers actually experienced.
For what this tour cost and what was promised, that is completely unacceptable.

When the technical issue arose, our team immediately dispatched a replacement vehicle to ensure the tour could continue safely. To make up for the 40–50 minutes lost while waiting for the new vehicle, our driver extended the itinerary with extra stops along the route, allowing all scheduled destinations to be completed. Additionally, we issued a partial refund to compensate for the inconvenience.
While we are sorry that the day did not meet your expectations despite our efforts and the partial refund, we appreciate your feedback as it helps us continuously improve our service.

Enrico was fabulous today! We did this tour for my birthday and it was just the perfect way to spend it. He shared a lot of history of Naples and the Amalfi coast and gave us great instructions at each town. The coast is absolutely superb and has amazing views and places to explore. We got a good amount of time in each town and he adjusted to what we wanted to do. Thank you so much for our say, it was perfetto!
This is an excellent private tour to see the three popular spots on the Amalfi Coast. Way better than the cruise tours as you can customize it based on your time and preference. The small car can get into some tight spots the tour buses can’t.
Tony was an exceptional tour guide and driver, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He connected with us ahead of time with clear instructions for where to meet, and he was early and ready when we arrived.
He planned our day perfectly, timing our stops to help us avoid the crowds. Tony was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and warm. We spent the entire day chatting comfortably during our drives, and he shared so many interesting anecdotes, local stories, and little tidbits about the areas we visited that made the experience feel much more personal.
He also took us to a wonderful restaurant with an incredible view. We arrived before the other tourists and even had a private dining room to ourselves for about 45 minutes, which was such a memorable touch.
Throughout the day, Tony kept reassuring us that we were in good hands with the timing, and he delivered. We returned to the ship with ample time to spare, completely relaxed and never feeling rushed.
Tony went above and beyond to make our day enjoyable, seamless, and memorable. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, personable, and reliable guide. Thank you, Tony, for such a fantastic day!

Our driver was very helpful and safe in driving, and gave us history facts that were interesting. He took us to a restaurant with an excellent view. He also was flexible in the itinerary as we wanted to go to Pompei after lunch. He obliged cheerfully.

Our tour with Tony was great! Excellent communication on where and when to meet. We were running late and Tony waited for us and still even managed to beat the traffic. Stopped at the Limoncello factory for some free tastings and then explored Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Absolutely beautiful and Tony knew all the best places to stop. He also booked us reservations at a nice restaurant for our anniversary and stopped at a cave boat tour which was a wonderful bonus! Would not hesitate to book again!

Antonio was a wonderful guide. We laughed a lot together and learned some Italian in the way. He is knowledgeable about the history and great stops. Antonio is a master at traffic avoidance with cool backroad back ups and ways to explore with minimal traffic jams. Overall a nice tour with scenic drive. Be prepared to spend time driving around, that’s the only thing is distances are far for a day trip. But must see spots :) overall, a nice day seeing magnificent coastline.

Luigi, our driver and tour guide was amazing. He pointed things out and told about the history and various things as we drove along the Amalfi coast. He gave us recommendations on what to see, where to eat and what beach area to hang out on. However, I felt like it was too much in one day. The itinerary says you have 2 hours at each destination but the “travel time doesn’t really allow for that. We stayed in Positano for 1.5 hours, Amalfi for 2.5 hours but only had 45 minutes (at the most) in Ravello before we had to leave and we didn’t get back to ship til 4:45. Our tour was supposed to end at 4:00. We kept the driver later than was allowed for but he did not mind and was pleasant the whole time — not one complaint!! The scenic route along the way was unbelievably beautiful! The drive is a little scary b/c the roads are so narrow and winding — thankful I was not driving.

I would highly recommend this tour. We had a great time with Tony as our tour guide. I was nervous when our cruise changed ports in Naples but Tony was there for us, on time with a smile and ready to take us exploring the coast. It is so beautiful!! We went to the Limoncello factory, Positano, and Ravello. We stopped at various spots along the way to take pictures. Tony was punctual, funny, and knowledgeable of the area. He did a great job of navigating us through crowds, picking great photo opportunities, and recommended a great place for lunch. Some of his English was harder to understand than other tour guides but we figured it out together as we learned some Italian. We were grateful to have a safe driver to navigate the intricate roads.

Antonio Campo-Mendez was excellent! He tailored the trip for our needs on the go. We decided not to go to Amalfi because of the crowds and we switched gears and went to a Lemoncello factory instead.
He made reservations at the most amazing place for lunch, Calajanara. We were led ahead of the crowd to a beautiful waterside table.
Antonio had a wonderful personality, was friendly and engaging, and shared fascinating stories about the local history, culture, and hidden gems along the route. Dominico greeted us before arriving to pick us up. He was very good with English and his local knowledge sharing specific details of all stops and then some. He offered to take pictures along the way. He also communicated well and made the trip worth the money and time. Only thing I would recommend is a few options for lunch. We enjoyed our day with Tony tooling around the Amalfi coast. Battling heavy traffic and a bit of rain, Tony’s experience getting around created an enjoyable day. Tony has a great sense of humor and a deep knowledge of the towns we visited. He also arranged a great lunch that included fresh pasta at a restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. Mum and I had a great day with Tony our driver who picked up up from the cruise terminal and provided a full day or sight seeing around the Amalfi coast.
Tony was a lovely chap, happy and very knowledgeable about the area, history and pretty much anything we asked.
Mum had her folding wheelchair with her and Tony was really supportive with her.
Highlights included the limoncello factory, lunch overlooking the sea and a trip over the mountain.
If we return to the area we’d certainly book with Tony again.

Where do I start with how amazing Tony was on this tour? First, his English is excellent, second, he will teach you some Italian, if you are interested. But most of all, he truly knows and loves this area. We only had 8 hours on a ship excursion to do the Amalfi coast and he made it incredibly memorable. booked a private tour for the family and all I got was a guide who told us where the parking was not one other word ! Very disappointing! He did not speak one extra word even after we asked him questions

Great tour and guide. Only issue was that the car malfunctioned and had to be changed. Further, they seem to have an arrangement to only stop at 1 restaurant without any choice.
