It was a great experience. Totally enjoyable. The various modes of transportation were all comfortable. The scenery was spectacular. All in all a great day.

We booked this day trip which started at 7:15, we were late so they waited a few minutes. It’s very long - the lake como part could really be missed yes the views are nice, but aside from half an hour time free time you don’t get much time to explore, the train trip was lovely! It’s really hard to find time to eat breakfast/ lunch and no eating was allowed on the bus. Do take water, and some snacks for stops, maybe even sandwiches as certain shops even in st Moritz are closed 1-3pm. Remember to buy your Swiss chocolate! Defo worth it.
All in all nice trip would have been nice to stop at the top for photo ops but never happened. It’s a bit 2.5 hours there and back by bus, so it’s a 13 /14 hour trip - so one to consider before booking.
You will have sound sleep once back at your hotel!

The views were beautiful and it was a nice way to see the swiss alps and lake como. However the day felt disorganized and rushed. Many times we were told not to stop for pictures walking to/ from destinations with beautiful views. And we were not told when bathroom or food stops would be. For example we did not know how long the train ride would be or if it served food. So while the train ride did have a bathroom after we got off the train we found out we only had 15 minutes in a town to buy something from a cafe to use their bathroom when there were 2 tours there at the same time with over 60 people trying to use one bathroom stall. Only after getting back on the bus we were told we had a 3 hour drive back to Milan. The day felt very rushed and chaotic with most of it feeling preventable if the day and timing had been more laid out. We did 4 other tours while in Italy and this was our least favorite. I would only recommend this one if the goal is to see the alps and lake como.

Plenty of comfort stops for food, drinks etc.
temp in early April was quite mild.
The stop at lake como was rather frantic with passengers piling into the spaghetti restaurant- just go to the ones next door where you’ll be served quicker.

It is a long day - first stop is after the Como boat trip.Como boat trip is amazing. Guide we had was excellent and very informative.
Scenery is breathtaking - it’s a long day but worth it - St Moritz is like a manicured garden - the town itself is nothing special. The journey on the Bernina express is incredible- especially in snow!

Very good experience and the train ride was very fun and scenic was spectacular. It was snowing when we were on the train too which made the experience even greater.
The bus ride return back was very long (2.5 hours non stop) and the bus was fully packed with people. It would be nice if the guide can arrange seats for families or couples on the bus ride and train ride as I have seen some couples have to sit separately on the long bus ride and train ride. Luckily we arrived earlier so we could sit together in the coach, otherwise we all had to sit separately.

This is a long day but wow, the time at Lake Como and St Moritz were both fantastic. The train journey is spectacular! Be aware if travelling on a Sunday a lot of shops in St Moritz were closed but we managed some chocolate and souvenirs along with a quick drink stop, plus side the traffic out and into Milan was swifter than we expected . Our guide was really knowledgeable and kept us on time. All in all an excellent trip, could not have done this independently.
Slight down side no toilet on the bus and no refreshment trolly on the train but we had prepared for both of these situations!

Katia was our guide. She was great. Was able to answer questions or help if we needed something. The tour was lovely. Lots of beautiful scenery. My suggestion is to wear layers as the train ride can be cold. Many people will have the windows open for the entire journey. Lake Como has beautiful scenery. After Lake Como we boarded the bus for the journey to St. Moritz through high mountain roads with many hairpin turns and snowy mountains and glaciers. I would recommend this tour.

Guide of the tour Mrs. Magela was not frlendly and her English was not clear and fluent, she speaks with an Italian accent so we have difficulties about understanding. I think the leisure time for Como was so short, we had no time for taking pictures and consequently nowhere recommended for buying souvenirs accept Swiss chocolate shop in saint Moritz. We hope to buy magnets for our collection but we couldn’t.

The scenery was beautiful and the tour itself had great potential, but the guide, Maurizzio, ruined the experience.
We arrived early so my 77-year-old mother, who gets motion sickness, could sit in the front row. The second driver, who was seated in the front row behind the main driver, agreed. However, Maurizzio, the tour guide, shouted "no" from outside the bus. When I tried speaking with him, he dismissed me and treated me as if I were ignorant and had never traveled, insisting the front row could not be used for "safety" reasons. I have traveled the world and never encountered this. He then took the right-side front row for himself to stretch out, even dozing off at times, while my mother was forced to sit in the second row and feel uncomfortable for no valid reason.
The destinations were wonderful, but the guide's rude behavior, lack of empathy, and unprofessionalism overshadowed the day.

Do not book with this vendor. They are rude and unaccommodating. Our taxi was stuck in traffic for 20 minutes, and we arrived just six minutes late. Despite explaining the extenuating circumstances, they refused to wait or offer any refund.
We understand there are schedules to keep, but their rude behavior, refusal to let us join the tour on our own in Lake Como, and unwillingness to reschedule us for another day show a complete lack of customer service.
This vendor is inflexible and greedy. Save yourself the frustration — choose a different Bernina Train and Lake Como tour.

Unfortunately, as the group had to depart on schedule and you arrived over 20 minutes late from the meeting point time, we couldn’t delay the departure without affecting the rest of the participants and the fixed boat and train timings.

Such a relaxing & breathtaking view of the Alps! Can’t recommend this trip enough. The bus drive through the Lake Como & the Bernina pass area were gorgeous but sometimes seemingly dangerous however we had the BEST driver & never felt scared. We loved everything about this trip!

Great experience! It’s a long day but packs in what other itineraries would do in two days in just one! Comfortable bus with good drivers, perfectly on time departure. Andrea was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable, and especially accommodating to my Nana who walks slowly with a cane. The cruise was on a comfortable boat with inside and outside seating, fantastic views of all the sights along the lakeshore. Nice amount of free time in St Moritz for lunch and shopping before the Bernina train for which the group has a whole car reserved. The bus takes a different route on the way back so you see different sights all day which was very nice although a lot of people (including myself, briefly) fall asleep on the ride back to Milan, and Andrea thoughtfully limited the commentary towards the end. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour, I hesitated and nearly didn’t book this tour based on the reviews however it was fantastic! It’s a long day, there’s no doubt about that and the drive at the end of the day back is a killer but the overall experience was fabulous. Ticking off a ton of sights, starting with a scenic drive up the west side of lake Como, cruise around the famous villas, drive through the wine region, jump on the stunning train which has open windows for perfect photo taking. Followed by free time in St Moritz and a drive along the east side of the lake back to Milan. Tour guide was informative and friendly and bus modern with air conditioning. Overall a wonderful day, no complaints. Would recommend it!

The scenery was absolutely amazing and is a must, the train was just lovely. The timing of the tour felt quite rushed. The bus was about 20 minutes late at the start of the day which put off everything else, and we had no time to stop at the first place with only time to rush into a cafe to go to the toilet being told to be back a specific time but not actually leaving untill 15 minutes later where we didn’t need to rush. The day was absolutely beautiful but I think some work needs to be done with the timing of places.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS OPERATOR. The tour is offered as a “luxury air conditioned bus” and “Relax in climate-controlled comfort as you travel by luxury coach” - THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was far too hot, for three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon, everyone was extremely uncomfortable and feeling sick, the bus smelt of body odour and everyone was having the fan themselves with whatever the could. Company is lying that the air conditioning broke on the way back but it was never on!!! Several people got up to request it. Guide and driver were uninterested, rude and self-important (throughout the day not just about the air con). Neither seemed to actually enjoy what they were doing or wanted to interact with the customers. The guide even arrived late to the meet up point after lunch. Most uncomfortable day of any holiday ever, they have completely ruined this experience.

The Lake Como cruise and Bernina train ride was such a joy and major highlight. St Moritz was also beautiful town. A must do when in Milan. Also very important to respect the tour guide’s times at each destination.

This trio was a nightmare from HELL!
Out tour guide left us in St. Moritz. without a ride back to Milan! Who does that??? I plan on taking legal action! This is totally unacceptable who and what company would abandon tourists in a foreign country?

Dear Mrs Amy, we are sorry about the inconvenience but you were travelling on a group tour with other 45 people who were all in time to catch the bus, this means that the tour leader information were clear. We also provide an emergency number that our customers can call for any assistance but when you called it was too late and the bus already left.
Anyway, the tour leader informed us that you were late at each appointment, starting from the departure in the morning and that probably in St Moritz you missed the bus because you went to a restaurant despite he told you that there was not enough time...
As everybody can see from all the reviews, we really care about our service and about our dear customers.

Amazing trip. It is a long day but the stops and views are just phenomenal. The bus driver, David was so accomodating and patient. The tour guide knew many things about the places we visited. Everything was perfect. The Bernina train (not to be mistaken for the express because this one takes 2 hours for a shorter distance and has many stops) is just spectacular. Try and sit on the right side of the carriage if you can. The views left my husband and I speechless

During the whole tour, I could count the number of words the tour guide had spoken. He did not introduce himself and did not give any information during the two hours driving to the Lake, rather he spent almost all the time talking to the driver. He also hardly said anything during the tour. Feel like his responsibility was just to take care of the logistic, not as a "guide".

the only draw back of this trip was the pickup time ,which was 40 minutes late?????The excuse was not satisfactory,and have reduced half an hour from the schedule.The tour guide -Simona -was ablessing ,She took care of almost everything and everybody.Como lake and St.Moritz each can take a full day to see.Seeing them in one day was an interesting exciting experience.If you have the choice to take a scenery train in Switzerland take the Glacier or Golden train,either is more interesting than the Bernina.

Very disappointed we did not get to go on the Bernina Express, we were put on the regional train with no panoramic windows or comfortable chairs. Several people on tour queried the train as the real Bernita Express was in the platform next to us, so you could see the difference in train quality. I was bluntly told “this is your train “ and was pointed to the local red transit train. Would not have paid for this trip if I had known the train ride was not the Bernina Express. The guide was translating in several different languages, and would forget to translate into English at times. This was not a very engaging activity and is not value for Money.

The trip itself was amazing but it was completely ruined by the company rules that the driver can only drive so many hours and then have to have a break. We ran into heavy traffic due to an accident which delayed our return. The driver had to stop for 40 minutes so we were forced to stop and wait. Then we had more traffic and the driver was forced to pull off the road in a closed gas station and we set for another 60 minutes until the company would release him to drive. We were supposed to return at 2000 but didn’t get back until 2230. We were offered no free food, drinks or refund for the delay.

Francesca was our guide for the day, she was fantastic....informative, knowledgeable & polite...an asset to the company.
The tour itself was well planned out, timings were spot on which meant crowds were avoided!
Would recommend to anyone staying in Milan for a few days, even our 7 year old son loved it!
