Our day was fantastic. Georgio was very professional and had an extensive knowledge of the areas that we visited. He picked us up on time and explained our day. We made stops along the way. He supported us with finding a nice place for lunch and was friendly and energetic.

We had a great day with Georgio. He was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and funny. He didn't rush us and made it a point to show us the highlights and other interesting sights. We definitely got our money's worth on this tour!

I was apprehensive at first since I was a solo 17 year old traveler but Giorgio made this experience amazing!! He is very funny and very knowledgeable and I learned a lot!! I was also very happy that he has able to amoral Spanish and had an amazing time in both sirmione and Verona. I will be recommending this trip to others. Thank you so much for the experience!!

Great places to see. Fun boat ride.
However, the day wasn't engineered right, and we were really hungry for much of this long tour despite requests. Make sure to talk about lunch time beforehand. Hangry and walking a lot don't mix well.

My name is Enrico, may I know, who was the guide, for this tour? Usually our customers have breakfast before leaving their hotel, and in Italy it is not difficult to find a place to eat, is not it? we did not have any of these compelling about the food before, even if most of our customers find open restaurants both in Sirmione and Verona. Private tour for the price of a bus tour. I was quite late in booking a day tour to Verona and the Bus tours were all sold out. luckily I found this Private Tour. Giorgio was our driver/guide. He knows a lot about Verona and Sirmione and had a lot of stories to tell. We saw other group tours being herded to Gulieta's house then diapersed for some free time, but with Giorgio we went on a slow paced walk around the vibrant City of Verona. In Sirmione we had some good Gelato and walked around the city, down to the lake. Started at 9:30am and we were back in the City 8PM.

Loved being picked up and dropped off at our hotel, so convenient.
Tour guide was great, funny and knowledgeable- enjoyed Lake Garda, had time for the kids (12 and 10) to swim in the lake which they loved and the water was beautiful and warm even at 9am!
Tour guide asked if we could start earlier as it was a Sunday and swapped the itinerary around to ensure we could go all places with less people about, which worked out well for us!!

Fabulous day out with Giorgio. He fit so much into one day while entertaining us with the culture and history of Verona and Lake Garda and Italy overall. We were amazed at his knowledge of languages and how different local histories culminated into todays Verona and Milan. He went over and above. We thoroughly enjoyed our day out with him.

Did the tour on 11/26/23. Thought both places were a must see. The best part of the tour however was our guide Giorgio! He was informative but also very friendly. We had great conversations about Formula 1 and Ferrari on our long rides - both topics a passion for our family. We also discussed USA a lot since he was trying to become more familiar.
I had an injured knee so additional walking was challenging. A huge shout out to Giorgio in making the day more convenient for me.

Where to start? The guide constantly making political statements, him constantly checking his phone which had audible notifications on (including in a cathedral where we actually had to tell him to turn it off as it became embarrassing) or his poor attempts at humour. It ruined a tour of what is obviously two beautiful towns.
Have been using Viator for over 15 years and have never had a worse tour. The two stars were for the towns themselves.

Also among hundreds of customers, there is always a black sheep, thank you very, very much! 1) the guide is a funny person therefore he always makes political statements, especially now that there is the war between Russia and Ukraine everyone is allowed to talk about this war, the guided tour has been carried out in Italy, a free country, not in North Corea! and the guide also talks about other hilarious statements about different matters, because the guided tour is not a funeral but is something happy. 2) about the notification of the guide's phone, there is nothing of embarrassing because the guide is also allowed to talk explaining the main facts about the church, especially because it was not during the mass, and because the guide has to coordinate the job of other guides and can reply to any SMS he is receiving without any problems, without asking the tourists any permission, if you don't mind....This especially is very funny said by tourists that moreover are not catholic and don't know the catholic rules of Italian churches. 3)Embarrassing for the guide was indeed your poor attempts at humour, especially because the tour is in Italy, Italians are happy people and don't behave like "no humour please...". on behalf of the tour guide, the review of this guided about these two tourists, reflects the same bad review that you have written about him. The guide have been using Viator for over 10 years and have never had such a boring guided tour as this one he has had with you. But also for me, the guide, there are bad days. Giorgio was a great guide for our full day trip to Verona and Sirmione. He’s very knowledgeable and funny and has a great attitude for the whole day. He knows many languages and was able to explain a lot in English of what we were seeing. We appreciate his insight because if we went alone, we would not know what we are looking at without Giorgio’s help. He was nice enough to pick us up and this was well appreciated. He was very flexible with our day and let us take our time if we wanted to have a sit down lunch in Verona. We did not feel rushed and he helped us take pictures as well. His car is very clean and the ride felt safe. We were in the car for a good 3 hours. We spent the whole day with him and we felt like we accomplished a lot. We saw a lot of the main attractions (according to Google) in the two towns and are very satisfied. Be prepared to walk about 10k steps for the day, but this was no problem for us. My parents were fine and they are 65+. Thank you Giorgio for this day we will not forget. Merry Xmas!!

Convenient private car trip from Milan. Giorgino picked us from Milan centre and was flexible. He has great knowledge of history and various things in Veronna, Sirmioni and Milan. This tour is perfect if you want to keep your base as Milan and covered cities around it without any hassle of car driving parking etc.
