This was one of the most magnificent experiences of our lives. My husband and I decided to book a day charter on our honeymoon and from beginning to end, it was wonderful. Booking with David was great— he was so friendly and patient with all of my questions. He warmly welcomed us to the boat and we immediately could tell it was going to be a beautiful day. Captain Terry was incredible. His extensive knowledge and passion for the sea was so evident as he shared with us about Malta and boating. Quickly, it felt like we were chatting with an old friend. His warm spirit was above and beyond what we would expect for a trip like this— we feel so lucky to have gotten to share our day with him! The boat itself was gorgeous and well kept. We stopped at several locations, each one more beautiful than the last. Captain Terry chatted with us to understand our priorities for the charter and made sure that we were able to maximize our experience. It was truly the beautiful vibe, exemplary service, and overall kindness that made our day unforgettable. Walking off the boat felt like we were saying goodbye to family, who had so generously welcomed us into their home. Thank you for one of the best days of our lives!

The boat was in good condition and our captain was wonderful. We enjoyed the scenery, getting in the water and had a great lunch. I would definitely recommend this for larger families (4-8 people).

Romantic experience as a couple

Captain David was very kind and friendly, he took care of our safety at all times, he was very knowledgeable and did his best to accommodate our plans. We found the lunch overpriced (we ate dinner at a Michelin guide restaurant at the same price later on) but this operator allows you to bring your own food and drinks, unlike others I have seen. Whilst the idea of a bbq on the boat sounds pretty cool, don't forget that it eats in the valuable time you get to spend in the beautiful bays so my recommendation would be to just bring your own cold meal and wine/prosecco to save time and money. A couple of tips if you want to enjoy this trip to the maximum by avoiding the mistakes we did: 1- the trip is 9 hours which made us think it's ok to wake up a bit later in the morning and start at 10am instead of 9am. It's only 1h out of 9 that we would lose after all. Big mistake because the bulk of this trip is spent sailing whereas you have just 3-4hours to spend anchored in the bays. And time flies. So don't be late, start the trip in time. 2- We had very few days in Malta so we did not visit Blue Lagoon via the normal ferry, we thought we would use this private boat tour for that purpose. You can of course stop by Blue Lagoon during this private boat tour but I would recommend you to go to Blue Lagoon separately via ferry and spend a few hours there. Even though people complain it's super crowded, the crowd is on the shore but not when you are swimming in that amazing-colour water. The private boat tour is a different concept, allowing you to visit more secluded bays or caves that you wouldn't be able to visit otherwise, so use your valuable time to let your captain take you to hidden gems instead. Since you pay for the privilege, use it. Bonus tip: one of the nicest moments of the trip was to enter back the Grand Harbour at the end, the harbour is incredibly beautiful, don't miss the very end while getting your stuff ready to leave or something. All in all, we thank Captain David for doing his best to accommodate our wishes and for this amazing once in a lifetime experience, it's incredible how scenic Comino island is!

Most memorable day in Malta

We had a beautiful day on the water even though it was a little choppy on the sea. Josh took us into a couple lagoons where it was calm and we could safely swim. We ordered the lunch option and the food was amazing. It was the perfect sort of thing to do in malta because you get to see the areas from a distance and have a better understanding of where things are. Would definitely do this again.

James was a fantastic skipper and we all had a wonderful time. The snorkelling in the bay was fantastic and kids (11 and 2 1/2) were both fully entertained all day. The food, especially the swordfish, was beautifully cooked. Exceptional.

A stunning and amazing trip around Malta

Maurizio was the best captain and person I met on holiday, he was so lovely to me and my new fiance. He shared so many fun stories about his sailing career and allowed me to take the helm for a bit when the conditions were good. Never have we had so much fun with someone we just met and he was so great. The boat (Hati) is a beautiful boat with everything you need on board. We followed the guidance of Maurice's advice and sailed to some very beautiful areas as well as some hidden gems of Malta and Comino, areas you would not see as a tourist. I would definitely say do this tour, you will not regret it and you will explore areas you not normally would see. We did visit the Blue Lagoon but more of a fly-by as there were a lot of jellyfish but also overtourism. Finally, we want to thank Maurice and David for wishing myself and my new fiance all the best. Maurice was so kind and made the most nerve-wracking day, the best and fun day ever in my entire life.

This arguably was our favorite part of our vacation. We had a lovely, private and very new boat. We were celebrating my 40th birthday and this was a perfect alternative to the crowed public boating options. The lunch was great and the snorkeling was a blast. Highly recommend!

What an amazing day! Captain Nick was fantastic, he personalized our day to show us as much as possible. He taught us so much about Malta and the history of everything we saw. Lunch was great and he even gave us a sailing lesson. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see hidden gems of Malta, away from crowds to places only a sailboat can take you, at the hands of a very skilled sailor who loves to show off his beautiful country.

We had the exact day we wanted! We enjoyed our day with Yuri, our boat Captain! He was very knowledgeable and experienced. He asked us where we wanted to go and we shrugged our shoulders… “you tell us!” We wanted to sail, see the beauty, but also stay out of the overcrowded spots! Yuri came up with an amazing route for us. We were able to see Crystal Lagoon and Blue Lagoon and not feel like we were there with a million other people (we sailed on a Wednesday)! David, tour operator, communicates all details before. We arrived on time. We left on time. We finished on time. We loved this beautiful boat and had such a memorable, enjoyable day for the three of us! I would highly recommend this tour over any other. What an amazing day! Thank you, David and Yuri!

This private sailing boat was definitely a highlight of our trip to Malta! The booking process was easy. We received all information/details well in advance and helped us prepare for our day. We had the option to select our lunch menu as well. We were delighted to meet Captain David, he was awesome, very friendly and accommodating. He shared details about different landmarks throughout our trip and took us to a beautiful “hidden gem” spot to enjoy our delicious lunch and swim in turquoise waters. We had a blast! Highly recommended :)

We enjoyed being on the boat, seeing the sights and swimming throughout the day. Blue lagoon was rather packed, but our captain found another spot that allowed us to swim without the crowds. It would have been great to learn more about the country and the culture during the ride to the swim spots. Otherwise, the tour was enjoyable.

As much as our skippers do thier best to keep our clients entertained, The skipper's first priority is to steer the yacht safely and to make sure that you are safe on the yacht and that you are well cared for during your day at sea. As a matter of fact you also mention that the skipper did go out of his way to take you to locations which were according to your liking and away from the crowds. The skipper also informed me that you and your group spent most of the time on the foredeck sunbathing hence quite at a distance from the cockpit to be able to communicate. We seriously feel that we merit much more than a 3 star rating but Thanks again for being with us.

Great experience! We booked a discovery day for 3 (2 adults 1 kid). The boat was perfect so was the captain. It was a private cruise. We could customize our trip but also received good advice from the captain. The landscapes, lagoons, sailing experience were great. Wonderful attention was given to my kid who could sail and fish on the boat (asked for the latter at booking stage) BBQ on the boat was perfect, I recommend also the Maltese platter, delicious. Activities on the boat were as expected, swimming in turquoise water in the lagoons, paddle board, diving from the boat, etc. I have zero reason to NOT recommend this trip to anyone going to Malta. This will remain on our best memory here. Thanks to David and his team.

Captain Steve was a wonderful host and guide! He told some fantastic stories (we aren’t sure they were all true! Haha!!) and showed us a wonderful day. This tour was well worth every penny! He found us a really nice place to swim without a lot of People and far away from all the other tourists. He told us a lot about Malta and it’s history and gave Lots of insider Knowledge. We can only recommend the Tour. It was absolutly Worth it.

Beautiful and relaxing day charter

We organized a last minute day charter with Sailing Charters Malta through Viator. David was really quick to respond and confirm the booking could go ahead the following day. Our captain for the day was Terrance, who was fantastic. He was incredibly friendly and very chilled out, but also very knowledgeable, and someone who clearly enjoys what he does. At the start of the trip he gave us a template for how we could spend the day and the sorts of things we could see and do, but asked us what we wanted and tailored it perfectly for what we were looking for. The result was a very memorable day, that was the highlight of our trip to Malta. Terrance even offered to take some photos of us throughout the trip and share these with us at the end, so we could just focus on being in the moment. We couldn't recommend David and Terrance enough, if you want to experience the coastal highlights of Gozo and Comino in style, comfort and without being surrounded by people, then this is the way to do it.

Perfect day on this private sailing boat. Skipper was really friendly and nice. The boat is perfectly clean! Food with barbecue directly on the boat was first class! I really recommend this tour to all people who like a personnalized program! The skipper even took us back to our hotel with his own car so we didn't have to wait for a taxi! 100% satisfied and i will book it again when i come back to malta!

The communication and trip was awesome. David not only arranged for a great bbq lunch on board, but also helped us negotiate a taxi to the port. The skipper was so sweet to my daughter who got queasy and taught her how to sail. The sites were beautiful and we snorkeled and swam. Great trip.
