This was our first time visiting Madrid and seeing a flamenco performance. We were awe-struck by the talent and beauty of the performers and the dance. Las Tablas is a sweet, intimate place and we highly recommend it.

Went by the reviews here so I was in the club 20 minutes early to have good seats. But the waiter said that all seats are reserved and he sat us on the worst seats. Besides having the worst seats in the house, the show itself was not that great. I attend a flamenco show each time I am in Spain and this was by far the least impressive performance. The best part of it was when they invited the place owners to join and dance. The club owner danced better in that last dance than all the show.

Dear Fanny: Thank you for leaving us your review. You did well to follow our guests' reviews, because the people who come to LAS TABLAS leave happy with the experience and leave us excellent opinions.
We are not a nightclub, but a flamenco tablao. You bought your tickets on September 16th to come on September 17th, and we assign tables in order of purchase. Before you bought your tickets, many more had already been purchased. Our space isn't very large; we have a capacity for 90 people, and we have arranged the tables and chairs at three levels to ensure everyone has a good view. I'm checking the table you were assigned, and although you weren't in the front row, it was a good spot to enjoy the show.
The artists you saw are some of the best on the current flamenco scene; you can search for them online. We're glad to know that you enjoyed the moment the owners came up to dance. They are artist dancers and they set up this space 21 years ago with a lot of love. Thank you and have a nice day

This was a fun experience, the tablao is small and you can get close to the stage and appreciate the dancers expressions while performing. Great value, we chose the tapas and show and we had plenty of food and drinks, all included. Highly recommend it!

Amazing show. We had front row seats however even if we had been at the back it was a nice size venue for everyone to see well. We had a drink included and we were made very welcome. I highly recommend this show it was one of the best things we did in Madrid.

The atmosphere in Las Tablas was warm, welcoming, and very professional.The musicians were equally captivating; the guitar solos and the soulful singing gave the performance so much depth and authenticity. Diego and Daniela, the dancers, omg!! brought such passion, strength, and elegance that you could feel every emotion through their movement.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madrid who wants to experience the true art of flamenco in an intimate and authentic setting.

This is a MUST for tourists. This small, intimate venue allows you to be up close and personal with these talented performers. Very friendly service. The guitarist, singer and dancers created a unique experience that is different each performance. We were spellbound.

We thoroughly enjoyed the passionate flamenco artists at las Tablas Madrid. It is an intimate venue providing an up-close involvement with the performers. Las Tablas is located conveniently near the Royal Palace.

It was not what I expected but the dancers and musicians were all very good. So much energy in the dancers!
There obviously was a story to the dances but we had no idea what it was. A little information about that would have been very helpful in understanding what the scenarios were.

Intimate setting, Sangria was good. Would have liked some explanation of the significance of the songs and dances that were performed, and would have liked to be able to see the dancers feet as well as hear them. Excellent flamenco dancers and amazing guitarist.

Our first night in Madrid we had no concrete plans so we booked this show kind of last minute. We opted to have drinks instead of dinner and as such were seated towards the back at a high-top table for four. Drinks and service were both very good. The show itself was outstanding. There were five performers with one guitarist, two singers and two flamenco dancers. Each dancer was featured individually as well as a pair and the guitarist also had a couple of solo performances. The dance numbers are impressive and beautiful with some being melancholy and others celebratory. Count on clapping along and maybe shouting 'Ole!' in encouragement as the troupe launches into the finale.

Fantastic dancing, acoustic guitar and solo vocalist! This is a very intimate setting where you are close to the performance. A good place for a date. Not pretentious, but high quality, expressive and blend of traditional and innovative performance.

What was NOT to love? The tapas dinner is a great way to start the evening. The Flamenco Show was simply beautiful. The artistry of the dance combined with the guitar and vocals made this the BEST choice we made while in Madrid.

Only two tables in the whole place watching. I knew something was off when I walked in to an empty place 10 minutes before showtime. There were only 4 performers…that’s it. This is a tourist trap, if you want an authentic real show you’re going to have to go elsewhere.

Lamento mucho que no te haya gustado y me entristece tu opinión.
Si hubieses venido entre marzo y julio habrías visto la sala llena o quizás ni siquiera habrías podido comprar entradas porque es nuestra temporada alta y suele llenarse la sala con mucha antelación. Ahora estamos en temporada baja todo este mes de agosto, si vas a otro tablao te encontrarás también la sala vacía. Aún así decidimos abrir para dar servicio todo el año, a pesar de que durante el mes de agosto tenemos más pérdidas que ingresos, pero nos parece importante tener continuidad, por eso abrimos todos los días durante todo el año.
Lamento mucho que no te haya gustado, tenemos dentro de nuestra programación a grandes artistas, puedes buscar por internet el curriculum de cada uno de ellos y podrás ver la trayectoria nacional e internacional que tienen. Me da mucha pena que valores la calidad del espectáculo por el número de mesas que habían con gente. Entiendo que pudo no haberte gustado, pero es ofensivo que digas que es una trampa para turistas, porque no es verdad. Es un espectáculo de alta calidad y con artistas de gran trayectoria, y que afortunadamente la mayoría del público que recibimos tiene la sensibilidad para apreciarlo.
