- It will not be suspended for fine rain, in case of heavy rain it will be rescheduled
- Under certain circumstances, the Madrid City Council decides, for security reasons, to close the facilities of El Retiro Park. This is beyond our control regarding the tour. In this case, we will offer an alternative route to our users.
- A 10-minute grace period is allowed at the start of the tour. After 30 minutes, the tour will be canceled.
- If you have limited mobility, you should not take part
- Children must be accompanied by an adult and be at least 10 years old
- Users will be able to use the Segway for themselves.
- The user's weight must be between 30 (77 lbs) and 125 kg (275 lbs) to ride a Segway
- Dress code is casual
- Comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes are recommended.
- The use of mobile phones is not allowed while riding a segway.
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

The Segways were easy to learn and control. We did the 2 hour tour which included parts of the historic district and El Retiro Park. Andrei gave us interesting highlights along the way, plus made sure we were safely escorted through traffic.

Jaime was a great tour guide, I had experienced Segway before in Chicago. The only inconvenience was that we had to go on the actual streets between cars and people and o think that was very dangerous. Beatles that we had a blast !

Thank you, yes, the regulations classify us as both vehicles and bicycles, so we don't bother pedestrians. The Segway is a lot of fun and enjoyable.

Raphael did an outstanding job as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable on Spanish history and clearly explained what all the buildings were on the tour right through the center of Madrid. Retiro Park is VERY big so seeing it on the Segway saved us A LOT of time! Highly recommend this tour!

This is probably the most amazing way to see Madrid and to experience its sights and sounds while learning a new skill. The segways are more fun than you’d imagine and easy to operate, and Cristina WAS THE MOST AMAZING GUIDE. That lady deserved the tip we tried to give her but she politely declined. She was knowable and allowed me to understand so many nuances about Madrid that I feel in love with the city and the people all over again. I would do this again if I could do it with her!

We had so much fun exploring the city on the Segways. Navigating the main busy main roads was a bit scary but exhilarating at the same time. Cristina was a great guide and we were lucky enough to end up with a private tour with her as there were no other people booked at the same time. Would highly recommend this as an alternative option for seeing the main sights if you’re short on time. If you’re nervous about the Segways, don’t be - they’re pretty easy to control once you get the hang of it. Got some great tips on places for food too… thanks Cristina 😊

After a quick practice got into the swing of it really quickly. We did the 2 hour tour so wondered tour around the park and then city. Our guide was fantastic and informative navigating our way safely through the city when so much normal routes were closed due to police but we all had so much fun. I can't wait to try again in the future.

Do not book any outdoor activity with Viator. They do not have a cancellation policy for weather. They prefer to make money than your safety.

Hi Antonio, yes. You booked an outdoor Segway activity (we don't do it in the store) and you booked it through Viator. They have the reservation, and so do we. They called us saying they didn't know how they booked it, but they did know where (how interesting). It was raining, and we told them it wouldn't rain at 2:00 PM (the time they booked), but that we would reschedule for 2:30 PM just in case. At 2:40 PM, you wrote to Viator (oops, you knew where you bought the ticket) and asked to reschedule for the 6th or 7th. We told them that, according to Viator's rules and ours, cancellations are not allowed with less than 24 hours' notice and in light rain. We offered you a great discount, but you said it would be for 3 people, not 5. As you can see, we have a cancellation policy, as does Viator, where you bought the ticket. By the way, it didn't rain (as you know) and the weather was nice; it's spring.
Antonio, your opinion isn't fair, and you know it. You decided not to do the activity; you spoke to me three times. Anyway, I understand you're a bad bunch.

Riding a Segway is a blast! We had to change the tour from a Madrid city center tour to a Retiro Park tour due to construction and crowds, so I subtracted one star. The guides, Valentin and Evans, showed us their favorite places in the park, which was fun.

Our group consisted of 2 couples very new to Segways. Our introduction to how to operate a Segway was very thorough. Rosie, our guide was very patient with our operation and our confidence grew quickly. We certainly saw areas of Madrid that we wouldn’t have known how to get to. Rosie’s history information also gave us a little more of an insight into the history of Madrid. A very interesting and unique way to learn and get about in Madrid. Highly recommend!!

We had a 2 hour tour with our guide Valentin. He was great! Started with easy instructions on how to use the Segway and then we were off to see the sites. We covered many of the top attractions that we would not have been able to see in one day on foot. Retirio Park, the Cathedral, Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and San Miguel Plaza to name a few. Brought along 2 teenagers and they had a great time. Made the tour fun for them. Would highly recommend!
