- We always suggest booking on the early spots to avoid waiting on long queues. - We offer free pick up and drop off in the Funchal area in a 2km range from our sales point , for pickup's outside this areas please contact us. - Pick up inside the cruise Port/Dock of Funchal only with 24h advance notice and an extra payment of €6 per vehicle (Madeira Port Rules and Laws) that can to be payed to the driver. - Minimum 2 passengers per tour. - Children under 3 years old can only travel on baby Sling/Pouch. - Due to vehicle restrictions , it’s not allowed people over 110kg. - Tickets , entries or experiences in public or private spaces are not included in the tour price. - MadTuk staff and vehicles are always identified and will never ask for any tour payment , cancellation or any different service other the one that was booked , except if its your wish to extend , modify your tour or due to weather conditions.

A Fantastic Morning in Funchal with Bruno

Bruno was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with—friendly, insightful, and genuinely a lovely guy. He drove us safely up to the tobogganing (which is an extra, but totally worth it!) and then gave us a great tour around Funchal Old Town. What really stood out was how knowledgeable he was—he had loads of tips and tricks that made our experience even better. He also made himself available online if we needed any help with anything else, even after our excursion had finished, which was such a nice touch. We were so impressed that we ended up recommending him to a couple of people we met while in Madeira. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Madtuk and toboggana

Great fun trip around the city and up to the toboggan entry . The guide showed us where to get tickets for the toboggan and we then met him at the bottom of the ride for the return trip into Funchal old town . Lovely city and great day . Thanks to our guide Bruno.

We hired 2 tuk tuks for our family. Friendly, knowledgeable drivers who took us to the toboggans and waited at the bottom for us. They filmed our arrival and shared with us. Altered route back to our hotel to show us sights we hadn't already seen. Definitely recommend

It did not include a trip on the toboggan as advertised. The yuk yuk driver said it was shut when it wasn’t. Expensive ride around old city. Should have booked it with the cruise ship very disappointed especially when others on the ship said how they enjoyed it

Mr Reginald sorry to hear that , your tour started at 9am and that activity was closed due to bad weather, only was reopen at 11am, which was already way over the time of your booking , on several steps of your booking is well announced the tickets or entries to any activity it's not included , not even legal to sell tour and tickets combined , which we did tell you , You were offered a chance to be refund or do any tour that we provide , you chose other tour even longer and more expensive that the initial one with no extra costs to you . You did it , said that you enjoyed it , gave a good tip to the driver and then asked online for the full refund and left a one star review. Mr Reginald we run a business for more than 8 years an honest and very well known tours company with unheard bad claims , ever. We are hard working and always providing the best service possible to our clients as it can be witnessed on any simple online or platform search. Our driver Bruno was very considerate and made the trip such fun. He was obviously very proud of Maderia and it’s traditions and it’s history. We would definitely take another of the tours on offer. We are both in our late 70’s and loved the experience!

Our driver, Bruno was so friendly and knowledgeable about Madeira. I was nervous at first about riding in the tuktuk but myself and my husband really enjoyed it. A unique way to see Funchal and Monte. We had to wait for over an hour for a toboggan ride in Monte, but Bruno waited at the end for us to drive us back to Funchal. Thank you Bruno, we definitely recommend riding with Madtuk.
