Very knowledgeable, relatable, pragmatic, and fun guide, we did not notice how fast two hours passed and how much we learned. Greatly recommended. Seeing Tate Modern with a knowledgeable guide is a different experience. Our son also had a wonderful experience learning about art work, artists, and their place culture. Wonderful to spend time with very recent works as well.

Our private tour of the Tate Modern with Julia was one of the highlights of our trip to London. She is so knowledgeable and witty and did an awesome job of tailoring the tour to our personal preferences. There were so many interesting facts about the artists and their works we would have missed out on had we gone through the exhibits on our own. I enjoyed our tour with Rosa. She is an art historian who previously worked at The National Gallery so has a detailed knowledge of the institution. If you really like art, her thorough knowledge of all periods will prove enlightening. I am only sorry I did not have more time to spend with Rosa touring the Gallery

My husband and I loved our small group tour of the Tate Modern with our guide, Julia. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and sense of humor made for the most enjoyable experience. This museum is HUGE. We knew we wouldn't be able to see everything, so we made the right choice by choosing Julia to show us highlights and really get us to think about and appreciate the art we did see. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I highly recommend Julia, an art historian, as your tour guide to Tate Modern. She is very knowledgeable in the art there. And she encourages us to view and interpret the art piece on our own first, next she asks our views on it and then she explains how to interpret and appreciate the art piece in historical context. This makes the tour very fun, interactive and memorable. And we were extremely lucky that the group was small so we had plenty of opportunities to ask questions, which is great value for money. Julia discussed many art pieces and my favourite is 'Bottle of Rum and newspaper' by the artist Juan Gris. Overall, I enjoyed this wonderful tour very much, learnt a lot about modern art, and would highly recommend it to others interested in visiting the Tate Modern.
