Itinerary
Meet your guide outside a central London tube station, and leave the city by mini coach together with your group. The first destination is Turville, in the Chiltern Hills, just west of London. Here, you’ll hear tales of the "Midsomer Murder" detectives and see some of the key filming locations.
Continue to Henley-on-Thames for roughly two hours, which gives you time to discover the town that showcases the middle England appeal of "Midsomer Murders." Known for its pretty riverside perch, Henley boasts cosy traditional pubs and historic houses—with a classic Chiltern backdrop of rolling green hills and woods.
Your final destination is Dorchester-on Thames, where you’ll have roughly an hour to explore before the return to London.
Continue to Henley-on-Thames for roughly two hours, which gives you time to discover the town that showcases the middle England appeal of "Midsomer Murders." What a wonderful trip. If you are a fan of Midsomer Murders, this is the tour to take. Even if you aren’t a fan, it’s a great way to see some of the beautiful small villiages. Our tour guide Ava was amazing and funny and had a wealth of knowledge. We had an amazing day.

If you have watched Midsomer Murders, this is a must tour. First, Midsomer is much bigger than we expected! Just an hour outside of London, the tour winds its way through the many villages of Midsomer and our guide pointed many, many of the locations where the show was filmed. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the show (of course) but also of the history and geography of the area. The tour bus was comfortable for our group of 32, and the free time allowed for shopping, eating, and even a Guinness or two. We have watched all 24 seasons of the show but can’t wait to get home to start watching again!

The Midsomer Murders tour was really fun and well executed. Our guide Rob was full of information about set locations and had great insider stories and tidbits. Our bus driver got us to each location safely and was very friendly. All in all it was a great was a great way to spend the day and to see the English countryside outside of London. There was a little bit of walking, but some was an additional option and wasn't required to experience the main tour expectations. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time on this tour! Eva was a fantastic tour guide! She was very interactive with the group and was hilarious! Our bus driver Leon was also fantastic! I’m still trying to figure out how he was able to get our coach through the small village streets! We were taken to many villages where they filmed the show and given opportunities to get out and walk around for photos/food/restroom breaks. Some sites felt a bit rushed but we also were able to cover many filming sites! Overall I would recommend to any fans especially because it gives an opportunity to meet people who also enjoy the show :)!

Very enjoyable tour !! This tour is the must to have for Midsomer Murders fans. Our guide Rob was so knowledgeable and explained a lot.
It was pity to start 30 minutes late due to a faulty bus. But meeting place was in front of Starbucks, so we had extra time to enjoy coffee and talk to other attendees, then it was not bad at all.
Bus ride was very comfortable and stopped at nice places, we had a lot of opportunities to drink at local pubs.
It was a long tour, but absolutely enjoyable. I would like to do it again .

This tour was okay. It started off with no bus. The original bus has a puncture so they were sending another bus and driver. Our tour guide was constantly calling for updates on the bus but there was no answer. The bus finally arrived 1hour 10 minutes after it was supposed to start. When we were on the bus the guide then tells us that the itinerary is being changed to accommodate the late start and the couple who had also booked a concert for that night. I find this very disrespectful of others on the tour. I was not impressed that we didn’t see things because of two people again the majority lose out to the minority. The guide told us what we wouldn’t see and said that’s okay you don’t need to see them. If we don’t need to see them why are they on the itinerary. No I didn’t have an enjoyable time and no I don’t recommend this tour. I was very excited for it in the beginning but that feeling was soon lost.

We have a glorious day on our tour - amazing weather, the lovely Eva as our wonderful and informative guide and the best driver ever! A great tour for the Midsomer enthusiasts or anyone wanting to see some beautiful English countryside- met some wonderful people
from all over the world. My only regret is not getting the contact details of the beautiful father and daughter on my tour!!! Highly recommended tour!

We saw many sites where Midsomers was filmed, and although a couple of the churches were closed due to construction and a film set, we still got to see a lot. Plus it was cool to see a movie being filmed! Rob was fun and kept us entertained and was knowledgeable about the show. Great time!

The entire trip was well planned and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the Midsomer Murders filming process, the characters, and essentially everything about the series. She provided a great continuous narrative throughout the entire tour, including historical prospectives that added to the substance of what turned out to be a very educational process. And the remarkable navigation and driving capabilities of our driver should not be overlooked. He was nothing short of spectacular, maneuvering the coach and having to back it up in situations that were, in several instances, unpredictable. Many kudos for a remarkable and very safe journey. This is a not to be missed trip, especially if you have ever watched any episodes of Midsomer Murders!

This was a brilliant tour. Eva our guide was full of information amd apart from a few bus issues , not Gorgon the bus driver he was great we had an amazing day. Beautiful English countryside,small quaint villages and fun facts of filming. Well worth it

Good guide and driver, great range of places visited and lots of other interesting area facts thrown in. Guide very knowledgable on midsomer and kept the day interesting and fun including quiz style questions. Good food options on the breaks too.

We had a perfect weather day for our trip out into the countryside. Our tour guide, Eva, was knowledgeable and energetic, and our bus driver was very skilled. We were delighted to see so many locations of scenes from so many episodes of Midsomer Murders. And added bonus was having the ability to leisurely walk through several small English villages and get a glimpse of English culture. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was knowledgeable and VERY passionate of Midsummer and the filming locations. Frankly it was more then needed which took a long time. We made a 3 or 4 stops that provided very little value and took a lot of extra time. The 10 hours was more then needed.
Also the sound and CD system was not working well at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Midsomer Murder Tour experience with Eva and driver Les! The amount of stops was perfect. When a planned stop was unavailable Eva got us to a different one. They both handled some directions issues professionally and kept us moving along. It was an incredible value and fun to be with others who love the show like we do. The weather was absolutely perfect!

The tour guide (cannot remember her name ? Sorry. She is blonde and a mother of twins) and driver Mo were wonderful and the bus was so comfortable. But mostly the theme oriented tour. Great to go on a tour with people that are there because they share the “Theme” of the tour. In this case Midsomer Murders.

Val, our tour guide, and Moe, our driver, both did a fantastic job throughout the day.
Val was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the tour with her anecdotal commentary not only about Midsomer Murders information but also many historical facts about the various sites that we visited. Val prefaced each site with video clips from various shows which helped enlighton us prior to visiting each particular site. She made it a very pleasurable day.
Moe did a wonderful job driving to and from the Chiltern area and also through the many tight and winding roads.
We had a great day and would recommend the activity.

Eva, our guide was wonderful, especially since she had to adapt to the microphone not working making her job more challenging! Great locales and gorgeous views that enhanced the Midsomer experience!! Loved it!
The downside was the coach used to take us. Faulty mic, inadequate cool air, dirty sticky snack trays, the coach looked like it had not been cleaned from the inside at all.

Our guide Rob and driver Michael were really personable and friendly. Bus was top quality and clean as a whistle. We saw the site of many shows, stopped to walk around, shop and nibble. Absolutely gorgeous scenery and lucked into great weather. What a wonderful way to spend a day! Now we’ve got to go back and watch all 100+ episodes again.
