Meet your guide near Leicester Square in Central London, and set off on foot, listening to Harry Potter trivia as you explore.
Stroll through the street that inspired Diagon Alley, where Harry purchased all his magical school supplies. Then, visit a double of the Leaky Cauldron, the popular wizarding pub. Walk over Millennium Bridge, the site of Lord Voldemort’s brutal muggle attack in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
Continue along the River Thames from the Embankment to the Tate Modern Museum to view other key London sights that inspired the magical tales, including Borough Market.

We recently took a Harry Potter walking tour, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. The tour started off on the right foot with a friendly guide, and she immediately set a fun tone, making us excited for the journey ahead. She was full of enthusiasm, and had plenty of interesting behind-the-scenes details about the films that we really appreciated. Honestly, talking to her was one of the highlights of the day, and we had a great time exchanging thoughts on the books and movies.
However, as the tour went on, things started to feel a bit off. The itinerary didn’t seem to flow as well as we’d hoped, and towards the end, we were surprised when we were sent off on our own to explore King's Cross Station. We expected to be guided through the iconic locations with more structure, but instead, we were essentially left to navigate the area ourselves. It was a bit of an anticlimax, especially after the guide had built up so much excitement.
All that said, the tour did have its moments, and our guide was truly fantastic. She made sure to engage everyone in the group and was happy to answer any questions we had. Even though we were let down by the latter part of the tour, we still enjoyed the time spent with her. Would I recommend? No, don’t waste your time, you could perhaps take the same tour but with a different company.

Ana our guide was full of knowledge about Harry Potter and JK Rowling. We learned a great deal and she lead us all over London. It turned out to be a private tour which was really wonderful. We spent some extra time and she took some great pictures of us. I would recommend this tour and Ana to anyone who loves Harry Potter and is going to London.

No one was there to meet us. Never took the tour. It was cold and rainy, 3 other people showed up at the same time so it wasn't just us.

Our tour guide was fabulous. She was knowledgeable and made the experience fun. However, I am disappointed in the false advertisement of going to platform 9 3/4. It is not part of the tour, altjoigh it clearly says so in the description.

The tour was supposed to be about Harry Potter. We were shown the Sherlock Holmes pub, Brigit Jones’ apartment door and the Batman statue on the top of the Odeon cinema. These have nothing to do with Harry Potter. We were supposed to take a ferry ride via Uber Boat. The coordination was so bad that `1/3 of the people left the tour. Lastly we were supposed to stop at Leadenhall Market, but the tour stopped at Borough Market.
The tour guide kept walking ahead chatting with 1 particular person in the tour and didn’t pay attention to the rest of the tour if they were able to catch up.

We never did go to the pub that inspired the leaky cauldron (description said we would). The tour guide was too quiet and could not recall characters names and events (guides should be fans of the books/movies). The tour abruptly ended at Kings Cross Station even though the description of the tour said that it would end back at Leicester Square where it started. False advertising. Waste of money.

Tourguide did not show up for the tour. After we called the operators ourselves they said he had an accident and was on his way to the hospital. Told us we would get a refund and that they would confirm this in writing but did not receive any email yet.

We waited from 11:15-12:25 exactly where the meeting point was. The tour was supposed to start at 12:00! We finally gave up. Later I received an email telling me that the tour guide said we were no shows and our only recourse was to attend the next tour which was after we will have left London! I replied that this was unsatisfactory and never received a response. I will never use viator again.

AVOID! DO NOT FALL FOR IT. FRAUD! Totally unprofessional and misleading. Firstly our tour guide was very unprofessional giving us little introduction to the tour or information about Harry Potter.
Secondly her way of showing historical locations within London were to show grainy footage clips of Harry Potter on her phone and state we do not need to visit that today as you've seen it on the phone. In fact majority of the locations were shown on the phone and the same was stated that we do not need to visit them today as you've now seen them.
Thirdly, the "tour guide" hardly spoke, and when she did, she was so quiet that no one could hear her.
Fourthly, the tour guide was so eager to cut our tour short, she stated due to seeing most places on her phone, the remaining tour will only take 25mins. At which case I ended it in within 15-20mins as it was clear I had been scammed.
There are many other reasons to ilustate why this is a complete fraud. I have contacted Viator for a refund. I am awaiting to hear back.

It was my sons birthday and we had booked this. Although there was a chance it may not happen due to Covid-19, viator took the payment so we thought it was on and trekked to London. Waited over 30 minutes and nobody showed. Called the number and the lady who answered claimed she had nothing to do With the tour. Terribly disappointed

They no showed on us!! We went to the spot as directed and waited for over 40 minutes asked people and nothing. We called multiple times and no answer just a message in Chinese. I want a full refund. Best Tours of London is a hoax!
