A LOT OF WALKING!!!
Thought we were doing a walking tour of Buckingham Palace. We walked an hour before we even got to the palace.

Rain or shine - we had torrential rain at beginning of tour - everyone decided to not continue and meet at Palace

We met Lee at at St. James Square to begin our tour. He was absolutely fabulous. Funny and explained everything very well about the Royals. The tour in Buckingham Palace with the audio tour was also excellent.

We had a great experience on this tour! David was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. At first we weren’t sure how important the walk through St James Park was, as we weren’t familiar with it. But it was super informative, and all the royal history we learned while walking helped to bring the actual palace to life in a different way. Also thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Buckingham Palace! 10/10 recommend if you’re visiting at a time they’re open to visitors. It was even more grand and opulent than I could ever imagine.
We knew ahead of time that we wouldn’t have a physical tour guide for the actual palace tour. But the audio guide provided by the palace officials worked quite well! Overall, this tour was super worth it - highly recommend.

Meeting location changed and directions were unclear, reached out for support and none was given. We missed the tour and could have just booked the $35 entrance fee to the palace and saved the extra money.

Be very cautious and pay close attention to the meeting point. I tried to make contact using the Viator app and no one responded. The “contact” / texting area in the app is completely worthless. If interested in just the palace tour, buy your tickets at the palace for 36 GBP. When talking to park attendants at St James Park they said “people get lost and are left behind all the time”.

The walking portion before palace entry is designed to add context and history to the visit, though I understand how frustrating it is to miss that if the meeting point feels unclear. We’ll be reviewing our instructions again to see where they can be made clearer.

We were extremely disappointed when the changing of the guard was canceled, but that is not the fault of the tour. The tour guide did an excellent job of showing us other landmarks in place of the changing of the guard and we enjoyed this tour a lot. It was a bonus when we were able to skip the line into the palace. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a guide for the Royal Walking Tour portion and the tour inside the Palace is at your own pace with an audio guide. The tour was very informative and a very nice way to pass a few hours. They have benches in most of the rooms to sit down while you listen. The art was amazing and it was a real dream come true to be able to walk in the footsteps of the monarchs who’ve lived there.

Unfortunately I tried to reach aviator due to incorrect date. Nobody answered. The tour guide help me to do the cancellation but no one can support on rebooking. Thanks God I went to the kiosk and was able to take the tour.

Short, informative tour. Sion was excellent and informative. We didn't wait in line to get into Buckingham Castle at all. The self guided audio tour is awesome. Hard to believe you are really inside the actual rooms where kings and queens go. Recommended!
