There is a lot of walking with excellent commentary about the Beatles in London in Marylebone. This walking tour includes a ride on a city bus to get to T. John’s Wood for the end of the tour to see the neighborhood of Paul McCartney. Spencer is a good guide.

Spencer brought a personal level of Beatles history to our experience. Simply amazing guide and tour.

Where the Beatles were in London written by someone with real experience of the time and place very interesting

This tour had great potential but our guide felt less than enthusiastic. He forgot info multiple times and relied on the group members to fill in the blanks. He also provided incorrect info once and had to be corrected by a group member. He didn’t offer to take any photos of people crossing Abbey road and just kind of took off after giving us the details. Compared to another tour we took, the guide was just not as full of knowledge as we would’ve expected. Also there was no offers to stop for water or bathroom breaks and it was in the 90s that day.

A LOT of walking, so make sure you are up for that. Great wee day out though! We saw some fab Beatles spots as well as some other famous sights. We even managed to be standing at the Marylebone town hall just as Dua Lipa got married, we saw her come outside with her new husband Callum Turner, get covered in confetti and then jump into a black cab! Deffo in the right place at the right time!

Very informative with great stops. I thought the guide was very nice but he did walk at a fast pace so if you were in the back you missed a bit of the commentary. Also would be nice to have an official bathroom break.

Very knowledgeable tour guide with lots of fun and unknown facts to average person. I loved the merchandise at the Beatles Store and the Abbey Road gift shop. And the Abbey Road crossing was my favorite for the iconic photo.

A lot of walking!!! You have to be ready for a busy couple of hours. Our guide took us on a bus (which we had to pay for without advanced knowledge) and he left is without transportation back!
JAY_R, Apr 2026
A great deal of walking at a rather fast pace. A large amount of trivia presented, some of it a bit boring. 2 1/2 hours of fast walking without any consideration given for a rest or bathroom break. Tour guide was very pleasant, as well as very knowledgeable and eager to give as much information as he could.
PATRICIA_R, Feb 2026
Stop and walk. It was a tolerable distance. Tour guide had great knowledge of the Beatles and related info of the city and music.

There’s a fee for bus ride during this tour. Rob was amazing during our tour. He explained everything g and took his time even though it was raining.

The tour was great to a point. Our main plan was to see Abbey Road but my wife took I’ll halfway through the tour so we had to leave early and missed out on Abbey Rosd - but the rest was great..

There's a lot of walking. If you are a slow walker as I am due to using walking poles it was difficult to keep up with the guide. We feel behind several times which made it unpleasant.

There is a lot of walking, and you get to ride the tube , guide was pretty well informed, we did see Paul’s house
Denise_O, Aug 2025
We had a good time. We saw several sites, learned Beatles pop culture, and saw the Abbey Road studio.
Mary_N, Aug 2025
Pretty choppy. A lot of walking in silence between points of interest. Some locations with very minimal Beatles references. Tour guide not able to answer non Beatles related neighborhood questions. Definitely had a specific, narrow knowledge base.
William_T, Aug 2025
Great guide, Charlie was fantastic. More walking than expected but all level. Photos at abbey road were challenging.
Amanda_H, Jul 2025
Very interesting stories that I had not heard before. Michael, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared rock and roll related stories as well as the Beatles. Be prepared to stand for some time at each stop as the stories are told. I enjoyed this but others may struggle with the standing.
Leo_K, May 2025
Was fantastic walking tour with the guide providing great insight regarding the Beatles……guide was always answering questions
Gregory_S, May 2025

Spent the day exploring the Beatles sites with my coworkers and families. Weather was not great but we had a good time. Thanks to Tim
Denise_O, Mar 2025
If you are a Beatles fan, you will enjoy it! Tim was a good guide. We saw a lot with a group of 22 ppl.
del_a, Mar 2025
the tour guide was very knowledgeable on the Beatles with good history of their locations within London and other singers and groups from the 60's a muss tour for any fan of that generation.

We were unable to make it as the big bus hop on hop off took 3 hrs took make it to our meeting place. We missed it by one hour
Debbie_S, Sep 2024
Fabulous guide. Walk too long to finally get to Abbey Road then be disappointed. Thought we were to see inside studio.
kenneth_S, Sep 2024
Spencer had so much knowledge about the Beatles as well as other music groups
He was not only informative but at times quite funny. He always made sure the group was accounted for I would highly recommend Spencer and this walking tour
Paul_C, Sep 2024
The tour was too long. There was too much walking , not enough sites to see. Over 4 hours and not a facility break. Too much talking! Large group , hard to hear, should have had a portable microphone .
JanetL_R, Aug 2024
Guide was knowledgeable about everything Beatles! Very nice tour! Can’t go without ur fix of the Beatles
Shannon_B, Aug 2024
We really enjoyed this walking tour of Beatles history, and if you are lucky enough to get Spenser as your guide it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Daniel_M, Aug 2024
