Mauro did a GREAT job taking us to the multiple points in Sagres. There is tremendous natural beauty at this most southwesterly point on mainland Portugal that is worth a visit. My husband & I also LOVED the museum. Mauro is a very safe driver. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.

The jeep safari tour with Mauro was excellent! He picked us up at our hotel on time and took us around neighboring towns on our way to Sagres. He gave helpful explanations of the sites we were seeing as well as some great recommendations for other things to see and do in the area. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to venture out and see amazing sites around western Algarve.

This was such an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone considering it! Mauro, our guide, was awesome, kind, funny, and great to be around! He took us through small towns along the way, allowed us to pull over to get out and take in the views, and gave us time on our own to explore Sagres and the fortress. My friends and I had the best time and would recommend this a million times! We would love to go back to Portugal just to do this experience again!

Outstanding tour seeing areas of the Algarve not accessible while staying in Lagos—fun being in a jeep and doing a little off roading as well. Sagres, at the tip of Portugal, has unbelievable views and perfect walking paths around the peninsula at the fort then over to Cabo de Sao Vincent Lighthouse.

What a fun ride! We got off-road for a fun adventure off the beaten path and saw some great beaches, natural parks and historic sights. Sometimes you just should go for it and do something out of the ordinary! We had a great day! Thank-you!

A really fun way to get to Sagres off-road and thru small fishing villages you might not find on your own. However, please know that this is not a guided tour in the sense of learning facts from a guide; it is an excellent drive and driver. Enjoy!

The off-road section of the trip to Sagres fort was bumpy as you would expect and with no seatbelts it was a little scary at times.

Thank you for the review.
I would like to emphasize that the vehicle in question is a Classic Portuguese 4x4 and it is not originally equipped with rear seat belts.
We have as a rule the rule of good conduct when practicing off-road and I would like to emphasize that on the route we do off-road we never exceed 10km/h = 6 Miles per hour, always guaranteeing maximum safety for our customers, as this will always be our first priority.

Mauro was very nice and prompt. He picked us up right at our Airbnb for the half day tour of Sagres. He stopped for us to take pictures and enjoy multiple overlooks and view points. He took us off-roading to see more landscapes than just the highway route. It was a great day with a great tour guide. Since he was from Lagos, he also offered great suggestions for other things to do and his favorite restaurant.

Mauro was very friendly and accommodating. The views and stops were spectacular. The off road portion of the tour allowed us to see parts of the area we would never have seen if not for Mauro’s knowledge of the area. Will definitely contact him again when we return to Lagos.

The tour was great. We wanted to see the west coast of Algarve, which is absolutely worth seeing.
Mauro was great. He picked us up and he went even beyond the tour description by taking us through the nicest spots in the cities on the way to Sagres. We also did some off-roading with the Jeep.
We truly enjoyed the trip and Mauro is a very pleasant guide!
We would very much recommend this trip and algarve safari tours.

My wife and I Had a Great time with Mauro our guide! He was very punctual and polite. We saw a lot of amazing sites surrounding Sagres. Would definitely recommend this to everyone. We were exploring at a great pace nothing was rushed so that was a big plus! Overall a Fun Experience with Breathtaking Views!
