Join a small group and board your inflatable RIB for the trip to the sea caves, located just past Portimão. Sail past towering limestone cliffs, secret beaches, and rugged coastline until you reach the caves where your skipper guides your RIB inside to admire the hole in its roof.

We sped out in a smaller boat (~20 people) to visit several beautiful caves for photo opportunities. Upon our return, we were able to see 4 dolphins. The staff was very nice and wanted to make sure we enjoyed the trip.

Great boat ride, loved the many beautiful caves we got to see. There is quite a bit of boat traffic, so the cave stops are shorter, but you have plenty of time for photos and to hear some facts about the caves and coastline.
As other travelers mentioned, it can be cool in the speedy zodiac ride. Seafaris offers cloaks for the dolphin rides, but they will also lend you one for the Benegil tour if you ask.

5 star experience! Dolphin seafaris is a fantastic company to book with. I had an unexpected issue occur, which caused me to need to reschedule my tour, but they were gracious enough to get us on the next boat the following day. I’m so glad they allowed us to reschedule, because the tour was amazing! Our captain Henry expertly navigated us safely and smoothly and our guide Eduardo gave great information, took great pictures of us, and did a wonderful job entertaining us. We saw a many interesting caves and even a dolphin! I can’t recommend this activity with Dolphin Seafaris enough!

The crew did wonderfull and took us on a gorgeous trip along the coast. The nature in the algarve is absolutely stunning, and a speedboat is a great way to see a lot of it in a short time. The trip itself was made exciting by the speed, and we even had the luck to spot a troup of dolphins that the captain skilfully navigated us close to. Can more than recommend.

Awesome 2 hour boat trip, you get to see multiple caves and travel along the coast. Definitely a must when visiting Lagos/the Algarve. I suggest bringing some warm clothes for the boat ride as it get chilly on the way to the caves and the way back.

The Algarve coast is beautiful. This tour, however, was a complete waste. The tour left late due to the crew needing to get gas in the boat. The majority of the tour was riding to the caves from Lagos. There was absolutely no ‘guide’ to the tour. We were told to sit down and not move and that there would be time to move around when we got there. I was hoping to learn more about the geology but nothing was shared. The boat was too big to go into the caves. Seems like a smaller boat tour with a guide from a closer town may have been a better choice.

Really enjoyed this boat trip to the Bengali caves and nearby surroundings. We had done the catamaran tour a couple days and this was a very different experience. If you can do both while in Lagos then try to do that. The caves are beautiful and boat ride is fun and a way to see nearby villages. Crew was friendly and knowledgeable.
