Very disappointing

It was very disappointing from start to finish. The driver was erratic taking his hands of the wheel, looking round as us and talking. He talked about religion and politics and gave us very little information about the island. We asked him to drop us off an hour early as enough is enough. Definitely not worth the money!

The four of us had a fantastic trip with Hugo, an entertaining guide and expert driver. We learned about the levadas, toured a madeira winery, received entertaining history lessons, and enjoyed immensely our off-road careening and spectacular vistas.
