We had such an incredible time on the Madeira West – Enchanted Terraces & Fanal UNESCO jeep tour! Our guide, Pedro, was amazing — young, energetic, and full of positive energy. He made the entire day so much fun while sharing interesting stories and facts about Madeira’s history and nature. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the open-top jeep made the experience even more exciting. It was the perfect mix of adventure, beauty, and learning. Highly recommend this tour and definitely ask for Pedro if you can!

An excellent "tasting plate" of some of Madieras amazing scenery and activities. Luis our driver was really interesting and gave us lots of helpful advise

Have a good back the off-road is brilliant fun but your back knows about it.
It a great way to see the island
Excellent off road trip, lots of information and very interesting. We had a great guide who knew about the history, plants and wildlife
Our guide/driver was fantastic. Knowledgable, friendly and keen to give us the most out of our experience. Pack for all weather conditions and bring lots of water!
Only negative thing to note is the car did break down at the end of the trip and the company arranged to have us picked up.
This experience was the highlight of the trip and such a great way to see Madeira and avoid driving around the tight and steep roads.
Beautiful ride through the countryside of Madeira Marco our guide was intelligent informed personable. The Jeep ride up the mountain was an experience of a lifetime through some of the most challenging roads I’ve ever been on..

non-communicative company, pick-up was half an hour late, no reply from company to messages. Pretty silent guide - no idea who he was, didn’t say! Just the odd word shouted - “bananas” and pointed to bananas growing… No explanation of itinerary, sights etc. Tour was 7 hours, not 8. Can’t recommend - there are probably others that are better.

Dear Customer,
Regarding the delay, we informed the reception of your hotel that the guide would be late due to a breakdown; the clients who were already in the car witnessed this. We regret that the reception did not inform you, as we requested that you be notified. We could have sent a message via WhatsApp, but clients do not always read messages.
The tour lasts up to 8 hours; however, the tour will be shorter if, for any reason, the clients do not want to have lunch or if the weather conditions at the pools do not allow for enjoyment of the space.
It was just amazing and Pedro was the best guide. I didn’t do my research and didn’t have enough clothes with me so I guess not everyone is as stupid as me but wrap up warm in the mountains 😊

Madeira is advertised as a beautiful island of mountains, sea, valleys and levadas coupled with beautiful scenery.
When researching how best to get a taste of all this we felt that tarmac roads and cushioned seats wouldn’t let us experience the true Madeira. Viator, through The Green Devils allowed us a true off road experience and we loved it. Thank you
Well organised, interesting trip. Pedro was amazing. Tip: be aware it can be cold in the mountains, so be prepared; we got lucky with the weather thankfully but we were not dressed for cold!
The wild four-wheel- drive portion was really rough. It was much worse for us as we were in the jump seats in the back. I was feeling a little beat up, no -a lot beat up. But my husband had the time of his life and is still thanking me for booking it. We got to see a lot of the island.

This was an incredible experience. The scenery is so stunning. Swimming in the natural pools was so special. Going to Fanal to see the trees was magical. I highly recommend this tour.
Diego was an excellent guide, nothing was too much trouble. The open top jeep tour on the off road section was exhilarating and the whole trip was thoroughly enjoyable. We loved the swimming as well.
Could not recommend this experience any more! A fantastic tour of the island, stopping at all of the hot spots. Our driver was so friendly and easy to chat to - very knowledgeable about the island, I learnt a lot! There’s no better way to explore Madeira than on a jeep, the off-roading was so fun! A real highlight of my trip!

Great way to get around to various spots, with some privileges not having to deal with parking. Jump out and go see the attraction and carry on to the next spot. Great guide and jokes from him throughout the day, with lots of added info and question answering!
There is some great off reading which does get bumpy. Tops of mountains get cold and misty. Additional money for lunch was well the cost.
Eddie was a very informative driver who made the experience great fun.

Highly recommend! The Jeep tour west was very good! You get to see some much of the island in a day plus a 4x4 trail. Our tour guide George was very nice and funny! :)
Very fun tour! We saw a lot and got some amazing photos. We learned a lot about Madeira, the culture and the nature from the guide.
You need to be physically able to hike on uneven trails narrow trails with lots of rocks and exposed tree roots. People were helpful and kind.
The guide was fabulous very informative he pointed out plants, trees abd how they arrived on thd island. The waterfalls, swimming in the mineral sea water after a hot drive was refreshing loved every minute.
Driver excellent and very informative. Trip is a must for any visitors to Maderia. Would choose this company again.
Fabulous way to see a lot of sights in one day, weather permitting. A lot of off road driving which we loved! Great driver/tour guide, very polite and friendly. Never felt rushed. Great lunch stop.
A great way to experience the island. Our guide was wonderful and made everyone at ease! He played music and i think it bad everyone singing to songs and doing the ymca. It was a nice touch.
We were very disappointed and didn’t end up going on this tour. We were 5 (adult) people and didn’t want to spend the whole day squished into one jeep along with 3 other people. Would’ve been much better with more jeeps and less people in each jeep.

Our guide and the other 3 clients were also very disappointed with you. They waited for you 25 minutes and they called and you did not arrive on time.
