Madeira tour around the stunning Island

Joseph was an excellent tour guide and we actually got more time than we should have. He took us to some stunning locations and picture spots were we had some lovely pictures of the family. Outstanding and great value for money tour.

We booked Ricardo for a half day tour of Madeira, but it covered areas we had planned into another day of self driving, so I asked if we could extend the day and do the west coast tour instead. This was no problem at all. Ricardo arrived promptly at our door and helped our disabled person into his vehicle before loading the wheelchair into the back. He then explained where we would be going and headed off onto all the wonderful points of interest. Ricardo parked as close as possible at every point and let us take as much time as we wanted due to the extra time we needed with the wheelchair. All the knowledge that he shared throughout the day was very valuable and we would have missed so much had we done this on our own. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch right by the natural pools of Porto Moniz offered a good range of food and a wonderful view (excellent suggestion from Ricardo). Ricardo provided a service that we felt was above and beyond that of a taxi/tour driver. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Ricardo met my husband and I at the cruise ship. He is a very kind and courteous individual and a very good driver through quite treacherous hills. We saw the Valley of the Nuns, beautiful scenery, and ended with the old fishing village and cocktails. It was a wonderful day! Thank you Ricardo!

Ricardo, unser Fahrer war wirklich der Hammer! Er hat sich genau nach unseren Wünschen gerichtet und uns darüber hinaus noch viel mehr von der Insel gezeigt. Bei den Korbschlitten hat er direkt am Startpunkt angehalten und dort gewartet, bis alle die fahren wollten eingestiegen sind. Anschließend ist er mit dem Auto (9-sitzer Bus) und denjenigen, die nicht fahren wollten, oder konnten,hinter her gefahren, so dass man trotzdem mit dabei war. Wir würden sofort wieder mit Ricardo fahren. Auch die Abholung am Schiff hat wunderbar geklappt. Er stand direkt am Terminal mit einer Tafel, auf der unser Name stand. Und das beste..... Eine Teilnehmerin aus unserer Familie saß an diesem Tage leider im Rollstuhl. Doch Ricardo kümmerte sich auch darum! Die Tour wurde entsprechend angepasst und er hat bei jedem Stop den Rollstuhl aus- und dann wieder eingeladen, so dass es auch für diese Teilnehmerin trotz allem eine ganz tolle Rundfahrt war. Also auch dafür eine glatte Empfehlung!
