Phenomenal Tour!

I went on a tour of Palazzo Vecchio with Irina and was so lucky to have her as a guide. She is incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the museum, Florence, and the going’s-on of the time period and really brought the past to life. We learned so much from her, including the context and symbolism of the pieces, connections between important people, how they left their marks on building and the city, and more. She answered all of our questions thoroughly and knit everything together in an engaging and informative narrative of Florence. Would highly recommend!

A Grand Tour of Palazzo Vecchio

Irina was a great host and communicated a last minute change to our tour time very well plus. She was nice to let us grab a quick caffè before we started the tour since we slept a bit late. We toured all the rooms of the old palace we had access to and she answered our follow up questions with little hesitation. A nice addition was her use of a tablet with photos to show details of paintings or historical people/events to tie the information together. I would highly recommend a tour with her. Thank you!

Our guide Irena was fabulous. She was a wealth of knowledge and really set the scene for us with historical background we needed to understand all the art and scenery around us. The tour guide was great, friendly and very knowledgeable. Only thing I would say negative is this tour is expensive for what it was, compared to other tours we took. Only a little over 90 minutes.

Unfortunately the price of Palazzo Vecchio ticket increased this year and as a consequence it inevitably influenced the price of the private tour.
