My husband and I always try to do a food tour in a new city at the start of our trip to find spots and see the city. This was one of our favorite food tours we have ever done! Kat was amazing, the food was delicious (of course) and plentiful, the drinks were truly nonstop. No one’s glass was ever empty. It is ALOT of food. We even had a vegetarian who was given a lot of great options & full plates of food too. Kat was very cognizant about everyone enjoying their experience and being full by the end! We had a fantastic group, from individuals to couples, all over the world. Kat’s passion for food and her humor were so refreshing and made for a fantastic tour that we would recommend to anyone!

This was a fabulous evening from start to finish. My husband and I were the only 2 in the group and were thrilled they still ran the activity just for us . Our guide Kat was such good company . Knowledgeable, very sweet and friendly - just a pleasure to be around. The stops and food were excellent - I was so full I could not even think about the gelato for the final stop . The truffle pasta dish was literally one of the best we have had in 2 trips to Italy. Another highlight was the tasting of the 30 year old balsamic at our first stop as well as the best table in the house with a view of the river . 100 stars - amazing value for the money and a perfect evening . A must do when in Florence . Thank you Viator !!

Two friends and myself booked this tour and it was amazing! Our guide, Kat, took us to the best places and we had so much delicious food and wine! The first place was right on the Arno River - what a great view - with meats and cheeses and wine: we had several items to sample while we enjoyed the view. The second stop was a wine window with more food to sample. Then the main course with truffle pasta and Florentine steak with more wine, and then a fourth stop for delicious gelato. So much top-notch food and wine to enjoy with explanations from Kat as the background behind the various dishes. Highly recommend this for people that love food and want to sample the best of everything!

Fabulous food and free flowing wine. Two separate sit-down restaurants, with the third and final stop…yummy gelato. The walk helped pace the experience. Our guide Kat, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend her for your experience!

What an AMAZING evening we had with Katarina on this tour! My goodness we can't explain enough how incredible she was at being the kindest and most knowledgeable guide! We arrived stress due to the traffic and by the time we left we were completely at ease and laughing from ear to ear (and full with the most delicious food!!!). We're so glad we did this. She showed us the best local sites, the food was impeccable, and she was well known among all and got everything for us without a wait. We would easily do this again with her as our guide! An all around outstanding experience. We visited 3 restaurants and a gelato bar over 4 hours. The food was delicious at every restaurant, the best wines and plenty of it. Wow! This tour set the tone for our trip to Florence. We revisited the neighborhood, the restaurants, and took up residency at the La Strega Nocciola Gelateria. Our guide was born and raised in the neighborhood and her knowledge and hometown pride made the tour all the more enjoyable. She provided us with a lengthy list of places to see and things to do in Florence. I can’t say enough about this tour!

Our guide, Sylvia, was fun, friendly, and informative. Our small group (off season in November) sampled a wide selection of typical Tuscan foods at a variety of restaurants. I selected this tour specifically for the Fiorentino steak… I am a solo traveler, but the steak is huge and served only to two people. This tour enabled me to experience the steak dinner with a nice group of people. The tour was in the Oltrarno section, which is lovely… just across the bridges. My favorite restaurant was Babae, we had wine-window drinks and then went inside for a crostini appetitive course. Babae is cool and trendy, operated by young owners. Second favorite place was our final stop for artisanal gelato. Thank you for sharing, Sylvia!

Quite possibly the best meal/experience we have ever had. Our guide, Katarina was an absolute delight and added so much to the experience. Learning about the food and history was wonderful. We ate at 3 outstanding restaurants and finished with authentic gelato. Just the walk from one place to the next was enchanting. Everything was in the old part of the city. It was unforgettable.
