To access Florence: Accademia Gallery , each visitor must present a valid photo ID that matches the name provided at the time of booking. Please provide the full names of all visitors at the time of booking. Failure to present the voucher with the full names of all visitors at the ticket office before entry may result in refusal of entry to the attraction.Where is the meeting point and can I recognize the guide? Meeting point: Via Ricasoli n. 45 Blue in front of the Accademia Gallery entrance. Please arrive at the meeting point a 15 minutes before your scheduled entry time. When you arrive look for 45 blue number. Florence residences use blue number and while business use red number . It's not on office. Please don't ring any bell and stay in front of the door. See florence italy assistant will assist you. This ticket give you Timed Entry. This is self guided entry only. Please bring a valid I'D of your children to prove their age

Seeing David had been a life long goal. However the chaos of standing in line for two hours in the hot sun was absolutely exhausting and discouraging. The staff was disorganized and people arrived not knowing where to go or what to do. Older guests and people with disabilities had no accommodation. What was skip the line supposed to mean?
The gallery is definitely worth the visit. The line up process outside the gallery was very chaotic.
You need a ticket to get into the museum to see David. Plan AHEAD and get the tickets long before you leave for Florence. They sell out fast! Do not miss the opportunity to see the spectacular statue of David!
Skip the line aspect of these tickets was great and saved time. Very easy to purchase tickets online and a great experience all around. Highly recommend.
Finding the representative with the tickets was very easy. I was a little apprehensive about finding someone at that address, but he found me! Very easy.
We booked 09.15 entrance and got inside before 09.30

It is an experience. It is very crowded so make sure you get there at least 30 minutes early. Well worth the time to see.
They changed my time at the last minute of which, I couldn’t make —5 very disappointing as it was one of the highlights of my trip — I will be requesting a full refund
It was canceled and we were not informed! Not sure if I would book through Viator again!!! Luckily we did get into view ‘David’
We were sooo disappointed. We waited by the door and got the tickets then were sent to a long line in the sun. When we reached the front a man scanned our tickets and said we needed to get out of line and find our guy from Viator and talk to him. The Viator rep said sorry we are losing money and our tickets weren’t valid any more and we would be refunded. We wasted hours of our day to be disappointed.
The museum was already beautiful but with it being so busy, this experience made it SO worth it!! The line was already like an hour plus long and we found our people fast and got in within 20 minutes.
Our time was booked for 9a. The tour company changed it to later in the morning but we didnt receive notification.
This was super easy / the pick up point is the door opposite the gallery- 45 if you’d there the guide will come your name will be on his list and he’ll give you vouchers to enter. Easy so don’t stress
This was a last minute booking to see The David sculpture. As all tickets were sold out, we did the same in Rome for another attraction. This was good, the tour operator had our name on a list and was waiting outside we collected the ticket and skipped right in after maybe 10 minutes. Its a reseller basically but it was good and we manged to get in last minute, we literally booked the evening before. Cost wise it was acceptable.
You book for a set time and they email you to change it.
We showed up at the original time and were given a ticket anyway.
No audio guide included. Had to pay extra. They charge double what it would cost if you just book well in advance. Lesson learned.
It is not easy to find the Viator representation, I had to ask one of the Accademia staff and he showed me where to look…once we found him it was all good and he gave us an earlier ticket and we joined the queue so all was well. I would just make sure you arrive well before you allocated time as it is so busy in the narrow street. I would suggest that the Rep have some sort of signage to hold up and something eye catching as too many groups and people around especially in high season .
Very easy to exchange vouchers for tickets at redemption point. Just be sure to go to the exact address for redemption.
The Accademia was a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend. We got lost a bit finding the meeting point but the guide found us.
You have to meet the same day of the meeting point outside the academia to get your ticket, but they are punctual and worked perfectly.
The process worked exactly as described. We bought tickets for early timed entry the day before, found the employee at the entrance, and was able to get in line and intro the museum quickly.

It is highly recommended to buy tickets in advance, or the lineup will be long. It was a good experience, even though you may not be knowledgeable in art history.
I was a travel agent for 30 years until just recently. I never used Viator, and I don’t know why, I just didn’t. I will tell you they were Excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for assistance with tours, hotels or other travel arrangements.
This is a must-do experience, but I recommend booking directly with the Academia Gallery. Book the first time slot and arrive early. We arrived at 8 am and could not get in line, because we had to wait on the tour company to provide our tickets. He was late and then escorted us to the line we would’ve waited in anyway. After asking why we were in the regular line, he walked us to the front and spoke with the line attendants who eventually let us actually skip-the-line. Save yourself a lot of stress and simply book your ticket directly and then arrive early for your time slot if you want to be one of the first in to Academia.
Good luck finding the guy you are supposed to meet, and he will not be helpful when you send him messages.
Academia is cool. Just plan accordingly and buy tickets through the appropriate channel
Representative was exactly where voucher said & very easy to find. Line was super long, but we walked right in with these skip-the-line tickets. Great experience in a not-to-be-missed spot!
We were confused with how to obtain the tickets. It was not clearly noted. The instructions felt hidden and we only found it after waiting in line and being denied by the ticket attendant. They showed us how to find it and where to wait. After 10 minutes of waiting we decided to message the guide with no response. I called him and he found us while the line was running. However he then proceeded to tell us we could not get in at our time and we had to wait 30 minutes past our time to go in. He said that he had 2 other groups (1 group of 4 and 1 group of 2) on his list (one for our time and another for 30 minutes after our time). He said we all must go through the line together. The group of 2 did not show. He said it was “new rules” and “they just started it today.” The overall process was not clear and added lots of frustrations. The time delay of getting in impacted the rest of our day. Overall, I say do not book through 3rd party.
Our guides, Roberto, Frederico and Raul were superb! The perfect mix of humour, knowledge and guidance. The tour was extremely well organised and we got so much out of the trip.
