The lines are chaotic but it is worth it. Not sure how they haven’t come up with a better system of entry. And be aware your viator scan does not get you in, you have to pick up your tickets. I didn’t know and should have read instructions first.
Excellent work by team for entry into Vatican. Enrique and Claudia did a great job coordinating and providing relevant, historical information. Caveat: There are ramps and many steps that will test you for the 3 hr walking tour.
Perfect way to enter with minimal time. Staff amazing. Easy to find office directly across from museum entrance. Exactly what we wanted. Timed entrance and looking on your own without a tour guide.
Picking up the tickets was so easy! The meet location is right across from the entrance. Once you get your tickets they walk you right to the front of the line, waited while we’re till you get “scanned”, then walk you in. Since we didn’t buy the guided tour we were on our own.

Seeing Michelangelo’s arguably most famous piece of art was great. Such detail and precision. A must see. Other pieces from numerous other artists also quite good.

Skip a line tickets were great. We did end up standing in a line but it was a shorter line and only took roughly 10 minutes to get in. The check-in spot was easy to find and overall a good experience. I thought the museum itself was underwhelming, but the statue of david did not disappoint.

I loved the guide. She was perfect..the timing and the information was exactly as I hoped. And the extra benefit of a guided tour is exiting right at the entrance to St Peter’s. It was a perfect way to see the museum, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s.
It is worth it to get this type of ticket because the staff ensures that we can have easier access.
