Antonella and Paolo, were outstanding hosts. They both were so welcoming and their property is breathtaking! Edoardo, the chef who lead the cooking class, was a gem! He was so nice and fun! He walked us through the menu and how we would prepare each dish! It was so fun preparing our menu and then eventually eating it. If you are looking for a fun and unique experience around Florence, then this is a no brainer. Can't recommend this experience enough

Don’t get sold on a non-cooking class

I was so disappointed by this lack of cooking in what was called a “cooking” class. I felt like a kindergartner passing a bowl around and taking turns to put things in. There was zero cooking and the menu was lacking every type of flavor. Literally the chicken she called “balsamic chicken” was only chicken and balsamic vinegar. There were no appetizers offered and we had to wait 3 hours to eat anything. The husband looked annoyed we were even at their home. They were so pleasant on message before the event but the whole experience is not even close to what I paid. Don’t waste your money on this over priced view of Tuscany. I asked for half my money back at least and they refused. I never give bad feedback but this was ridiculous. We are the pasta but that’s it. Chicken and appetizer lacked flavor and again for a “cooking class” we did zero cooking.

I'm sorry she was disappointed, but I was also disappointed by her behavior. I organized the same cooking class for over 300 people, and from the reviews I received, only she was disappointed with the food. I hate competing with liars because the appetizer was on the menu, and you even prepared it: ricotta and zucchini souflé with honey and parmesan. You prepared the pasta, the sauce with fresh tomatoes, the chicken with balsamic vinegar and fruit, and the tiramisu. You waited 3 hours, the cooking time. We started at 11:00 and you ate at 1:30 PM. In the meantime, I offered you bruschetta (maybe you don't remember), and my husband wasn't bothered by your presence at all. You and your family are of Indian origin and have different tastes than ours, so he didn't take this into account. He requested a refund, which I absolutely won't give after using the cooking class. I'm sorry to have received such a disappointing review, but it's hard to please everyone, especially with food and flavors. Antonella

This was a wonderful experience. The host, Pauelho and hostess, Antonella , were gracious, informative and welcoming. Manuella, one of the cooks who guided us through our cooking class was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The villa and the grounds are beautiful and relaxing! The food was wonderful!

Highlight of Our Trip, Cooking Class in a Stunning Florentine Villa

This was an unforgettable experience that perfectly blends authentic Italian cuisine, warm hospitality, and the stunning beauty of the Tuscan countryside. From the moment we were picked up, everything was seamless and welcoming. Our hosts, Antonella and Paolo, greeted us at their beautiful villa just outside Florence, where we were immediately struck by the peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views. The class itself was both fun and educational. We learned to make a variety of dishes, including a delicate zucchini and shallot soufflé drizzled with honey, fresh tagliatelle with San Marzano tomatoes and basil, and a fantastic twist on tiramisu (using lemocello instead of coffee, which was amazing for both my coffee loving wife & especially me who does not enjoy coffee). The hands-on approach made it easy to follow along, regardless of skill level, and the hosts shared plenty of tips and stories that made the experience truly personal. Cooking on the villa’s patio, sipping Tuscan wine, and enjoying lively conversation with our hosts made the day feel like a true escape from the city. The meal we prepared was delicious and plentiful, and we left feeling not only satisfied but also inspired to recreate these dishes at home. The transfer service was punctual and comfortable, making the whole experience stress-free from start to finish. I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Florence who wants to immerse themselves in Italian culture, learn new culinary skills, and enjoy a memorable day in a stunning setting. Our experience was wonderful. The setting of the estate in the hills outside Florence was delightful. We were picked up right on time at our meeting place. After a short drive we arrived at the estate and greeted with a warm coffee and a few minutes to relax before starting our class. The instructions were clear; we learned a lot. Lunch followed outside. Our hosts were gracious and fun to spend time with. The food was equally good with beautiful presentation. We’ll be duplicating this menu for friends when we arrive home.

A wonderful day spent at Antonellas home just outside of Florence. She was a gracious host and we had a wonderful time cooking on her beautiful patio! An excellent meal of zucchini ricotta soufflé, homemade pasta and a lively lemon chicken dish finished off with Tuscan wine and biscotti. Antonella's Private Cooking Class was absolutely phenomenal! My mother and I had the best time, and we can't stop talking about it. Antonella is such a lovely person, who made us feel like close friends from the moment we arrived. Her home is gorgeous, with breathtaking views that are beyond imagination. It truly was the highlight of our trip and an experience we will cherish forever. The food we prepared was so delicious and we will definitely recreate the recipes at home. Antonella and Paolo were fantastic hosts! The pick-up location was easy to find and the drive to the Tuscany countryside was beautiful. Antonella taught us some fabulous recipes that were fun to make and very delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We had a great time with good conversation and great wine. We would definitely recommend taking this cooking class. It was an experience that the memories will last a lifetime.

Best activity ever!

This was THE best thing we did in Italy. I had already been to Florence twice before, so it was so different than museums and statues. The drive to the class was beautiful and it was nice to get out of the city. We so enjoyed cooking outside under the covered patio. The views were breathtaking. The food was amazing, and I can't wait to cook the same thing for my family. Our hostess was amazing!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience during this cooking class. Antonella and her husband are such great hosts. We felt so welcome the entire time. The menu was so tasteful and delicious. We used whatever was in season at the market! She was a very helpful teacher and we learned alot during the class. The villa which you take the class at was so beautiful, what a dream. The pick up was easy and such a treat getting to be out in the country side. We would reccomend this to anyone looking to escape.the city with great company and food! A fabulous experience

We were picked up promptly at the planned pick-up spot. Antonella’s place has beautiful views, surrounded by olive trees that she harvests and has pressed in the fall. We enjoyed interacting with other guests there. It was a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Florence. We loved the authentic experience of preparing our four-course meal with Antonella. We had difficulty with the app the day prior to our class, so we missed Antonella's communication on the menu for the day. Had that not been the case we could have requested a few adjustments that would have been more fitting for my husbands dietary restrictions. Antonella made the day… and her yellow lab and adorable little dog provided welcome dog therapy for two travelers who miss their dogs at home:)

Favorite Tuscan experience- cooking with Antonella

We had a fantastic time with Antonella at her villa and cooking class outside of Florence -Podere Il Pompano. She is a first class cook and wonderful, genuine person. We made a 4- course meal and ate it with local Tuscan wine. Upon arrival we were given fresh blood orange juice and relaxed on the veranda overlooking the Tuscan countryside. She then provided a traditional bruschetta with EVOO from her trees while she set up the cooking class. We made zucchini soufflé, homemade tagliatelle pasta with tomato sauce, chicken breast sautéed with balsamic vinegar and seasonal fruit over arugula, and tiramisu for dessert. The Tuscan countryside and beautiful sunny day provided a surreal experience. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a local Tuscan top of the line experience. It doesn't matter if you know how to cook or not, Antonella will guide you through it and you will love what you created!

Highlight of our Italian vacation

This was the highlight of our visit to Tuscany. We were picked up in downtown Florence, then taken to a beautiful, rustic villa with unbelievable views of Tuscany. There were three of us in our class, which was great. Antoinella taught us to make zucchini soufflé, pasta with tomato sauce, chicken with balsamic glaze and biscotti. Everything was fabulous! I would highly recommend this class. I know it is probably more expensive than other classes, but for what is offered, it is worth every penny!

Spectacular Experience in the Tuscan Hills!

We had a wonderful day with Antonella and Paolo! They warmly welcomed us into their beautiful home and put together a fantastic Tuscan menu that allowed us to learn many cooking techniques. Antonella’s demonstration and instructions familiarized us with how the dishes should look and feel during the preparation, which is difficult to learn from a cookbook. We prepared dishes for a four course menu, including learning to make pasta and Florentine biscotti, which is much more than is offered by other cooking courses. This was a very fun, informative, not to mention filling day!! Highly recommended!!

And the first thing she said was a cooking class. And boy did they not let her down. Amazing villa. Amazing hosts. Amazing food what an experience from start to finish in the countryside of Florence. What an incredible experience we had with Antonella and Paolo! My husband and I were the only ones in attendance. Antonella shared her fantastic recipes with us, and we were involved with the preparation of the entire menu. The food was fantastic! Their beautiful Tuscan home had spectacular views, and was just charming. We were able to eat on the terrace overlooking Florence. Definitely a highlight of our trip. I would not hesitate to book this experience, and I would definitely book again with Antonella and Paolo in the future!

This experience was truly the highlight of our trip to Italy! To start of, the property is beautiful and has outstanding views of the Tuscan countryside. The cooking class was entertaining and we learned many cooking tips in a relaxed environment with Antonella and Manuela patiently instructing us. Afterwards we sat down to eat the delicious 4 course meal we had just helped prepare. The coffee, wine and limoncello were superb. We lost track of time as we became fully immersed in the tranquil ambience of this Tuscan experience. We recommend it without reservations.
